The present invention pertains to extract sugarcane juice by reducing the number of gear units involved in the existing conventional machines thereby to reduce the initial and operating costs of the machine and to increase the efficiency by decreasing frictional power and number of moving parts.
Background of the Invention
Sugar cane is one among the major crops of India; the extraction of sugarcane juice from the crop has been in a traditional practice in many of the places. The use of livestock like cows or bulls for harvesting sugarcane juice is seen in most of the places. There are some mechanical systems with which sugarcane juice is extracted but those mechanical systems developed so far includes huge initial investments and maintenance costs. The existing electric operated mechanical sugar cane juice extracting machines consists of many sets of gears arranged on either sides of crusher. The cost of the gear sets are very high and difficult to find and replace. The excessive usage of the gear sets results in more frictional power, high heat generation, high power consumption and high maintenance.
As it is very much required to set sugarcane juice extracting machines in most affordable ranges and with low maintenance. This invention has led to the place. The technical developments in this invention will increase the efficiency rate of sugarcane crusher and make it economical for the user in many terms.
There are some technological developments available in sugarcane juice harvesting but those developments are limited by efficiency, economy and effectiveness of the machine. One among those technological developments is to utilize battery power to run the system along with motor (CN205082622U). Similarly CN202400639U discloses tuck mounted sugarcane juice extracting machine with front and rear supports to make it portable. Similarly CN103718737A discusses about pneumatically controlled sugarcane cutting device. In the inventions mentioned above there have been some technological extensions to the existing electric operated machines but not the performance improvers, and there is very much less innovative progress in improving the technical abilities like efficiency, effectiveness and economics of electric powered sugar cane juice extracting machine.
Accordingly, there is an urgent need and demand for a sugarcane juice extracting machine to make existing machine more economical and effective. The present invention has overcome the problems observed in the prior art and discloses herein the operation of this technically developed machine with only a gear set and pulley arrangements to overcome the mentioned drawbacks and gives subsequent results with effective terms. Therefore the developed machine can also be an attachment for the mentioned patents above for extensional developments.
Summary of the Invention
In light of the above mentioned drawbacks in the prior art, the present invention aims to improve the efficiency and machine material cost of the system by decreasing the number of gears in the system thereby to reduce frictional power and heat loss.
The specific objective of the invention is to design a sugar cane juice harvesting machine with reduced number of gears along with pulley driven motor with improved efficiency and effectiveness. The pulley driven assembly enhances the output with optimum speed regulation and reduces the weight of the overall system.

Detailed Description of the Invention
The embodiment of the present disclosure provides a Sugarcane Juice Harvesting Machine which is run by 2HP motor connected to pulley system and then to the enhanced gearing mechanism to give the maximum torque at the crusher. The system developed is known for the increased working efficiency with regulated speed at the crusher. In this system, the differential pulley systems will transmit the power from motor to the gearing mechanism as shown in figure 3. The use of intermediate pulley in differential pulley system will help in regulating the RPM of the crusher.
In this invention, the usage of enhanced gearing mechanism helped in reducing the material cost of the entire system by bringing down the number of gears used thereby reducing the frictional parameters, heat loss parameters, wear and tear. Only two sets of spur gears were utilized on either sides of the system along with differential pulley to improve the effectiveness of the entire system.
The usage of lesser number of gears also helped in reducing the overall cost and maintenance of the system without getting compromised on the torque parameters at the crusher. The reduced number of gears also ensures low weight of the entire system and minimum vibrations. This system also ensured extra safety parameters to the person working with the machine as there is no huge moving gearing mechanism outside the casing of crusher. This system made easier to make worker move conveniently on at least one side of the machine.
With reference to figure 1, the Enhanced Gearing Mechanism in Sugarcane Juice harvesting Machine from Front Side shows the clear view of orientation of one set of spur gear (1a) which gets direct motion from the large pulley (1b). The entire power is then transmitted towards the crusher.
In accordance to an embodiment of the disclosure, the rear view of the sugarcane juice harvesting machine consists of level adjusters (2a) to manually adjust the gap between the crushers with casing(2c) provided all around the crushing zone. The power transmission is made done through the pulley belt drives (2b) from the motor in combination with gear set (2d) for speed regulation.
The power transmission from the motor (3d) to the crusher is done differential pulley system along with spur gear system to ensure maximum torque at the crushing point. The differential pulley system is in combination of one small pulley (3c) and other large pulley (3a) with intermediate belt drives (3b). This differential pulley system ensures maximum power transmission to gear set with least slip to provide maximum torque at the crusher.
With reference to figure 4, the entire orientation of the sugar cane juice harvesting machine can be viewed working with Differential pulley system (1) with belt drives (5), level Adjustors (6), Spur gear set (2) at pulley for power transmission, another spur gear set (3) to counter balance the forces on the other side. Thus the crushing action is ensured with high torque and with regulated speed. The Sugarcane juice harvesting machine of the present invention discloses its usage with reduced number of gear sets with highest torque and with regulated speed at the crusher. This invention reduces the machine material cost, weight of the machine and vibrations occurred.
