Description:FIELD OF THE INVENTION

[501] The present invention is related to the controlling of swedan peti temperature and time of swedan for effective treatment of vyadhi using electronic gadgets/controllers.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[502] Swedan is suggested treatment for many vyadhis in Ayurveda. Currently Swedan is given to patients but it is in uncontrolled manner, it can be controlled and more effective using embedded hardware bio instrumentation solution.

[503] It will help many doctors for treating Vata and Kapha Vyadhi patients as per the requirement. Cold swed controller is unique idea, as it will be very beneficial for patients having Pitta Vyadhis (Aprox 10-20% patients). A device along with monitor will be fitted to Sweden peti and parameters / matra can be set for the swedan.

[504] Currently controller for only time is available but temperature cannot be monitored. In order to provide a technical solution to the above problem the present invention provides a electronic controller/gadget for monitoring and Control of Temperature and Time for Hot or Cold Swed based on parameters/matra of patient such as Prakruti, vyadhi, Desh, Rutu .

OBJECTIVES OF THE INVENTION
1) The objective of the invention is to provide a “Swedan PETI Expert System” is a universal Expert system along with display for monitoring and setting which will be fitted to existing swedean peti and using the device/gadget parameters/matra can be set for the Hot or Cold swedan based on the parameters of patient such as Prakruti, vyadhi, Desh, Rutu is disclosed.
2) The other objective of the invention is to provide a method includes controlling of swedan peti temperature and time of swedan for effective treatment of vyadhi using electronic gadget/device. The method includes mobile application for remote monitoring and control of Temperature and Time for Hot and cold steam (Mist).
3) The other objective of the invention is to provide a Swedan is suggested treatment for many vyadhis in Ayurveda. Currently Swedan is given to patients but it is in uncontrolled manner, it can be controlled and more effective using embedded hardware bio instrumentation solution.
4) The other objective of the invention is to provide a said gadget will be given with parameters of patient such as Prakruti, vyadhi, Desh, Rutu, the stipulated time and swedan peti temperature is set, monitored and controlled remotely by the said expert system.
5) The other objective of the invention is to provide a will help many doctors for treating Vat , Pitta and Kapha vyadhi patients in effective manner and analysing effectiveness of treatment on masses of patients.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[505] According to aspects of the present invention a user will be provided with A universal expert system along with display for monitoring and setting which will be fitted to existing swedean peti and using the device/gadget parameters/matra can be set for the swedan based on the parameters of patient such as Prakruti, vyadhi, Desh, Rutu.

[598] In Panchakarma Centres this gadget will be attached to existing swedan Peti/ petis and effective swedan can be given to patients. When said gadget will be given with parameters of patient such as Prakruti, vyadhi, Desh, Rutu, the stipulated time and swedan peti temperature is set, monitored and controlled remotely by the said expert system. It will help many doctors for treating Vat , Pitta and Kapha vyadhi patients in effective manner and analysing effectiveness of treatment on masses of patients.

The presented work focuses the design around microcontroller based monitoring and control of Temperature and Time for Hot and cold steam (Mist) using logic from Ayurveda Charak Samhita Sutras than 14/7-8 for Prakruti and Swedan and Ashang Rhiday Sutrasthan 13/8. The logic is embedded to microcontroller for parameters of patient such as Prakruti, vyadhi, Desh, Rutu to give more than thousand combinations of time and temperature based on surrounding and geographical conditions.

[512] these parameters are to be entered for patient and the Temperature and Time for Hot and Cold steam (Mist) is set by the microcontroller for monitoring and controlling the swedan process. When the set temperature is attained, it is maintained in swedan peti and after set time the hot and or cold swed is disconnected from the swedan peti.

[513] The presented work provides mobile application for remote monitoring and control of Temperature and Time for Hot and cold steam (Mist) using GSM module.
