Switching Module For A Switch, Switch, Method For Indicating Actuation Of A Switch And Method For Controlling An Apparatus

Abstract: A switching module (102) for a switch has a housing (220) which is designed to implement a switching movement on actuation of the switch. In addition the switching module (102) has an actuator (222) which is arranged and formed in the housing (220) in order to implement an actuating movement that can be controlled by a control contour (244) during the switching movement of the housing (220). In addition the switching module (102) has an energy transducer (234) which is arranged in the housing (220) and is designed to provide driven by the actuating movement of the actuator (222) an electrical pulse. In addition the switching module (102) has a switching unit for outputting a switching signal based on the electrical pulse for indicating the switching movement of the housing (220).

Specification

We Claim:
1. A switching module (102) for a switch (100), having the following features:
a housing (220), designed to execute a switching movement when the switch (100) is
actuated;
an actuator (222), disposed in the housing (220) and designed to execute an actuation
movement that can be controlled by a control contour (244) when the housing executes
the switching movement;
an energy converter (234), disposed in the housing (220) and designed to provide an
electrical pulse when powered by the actuation movement of the actuator (222); and a
switch unit for emitting a switching signal (810) based on the electrical pulse, for
indicating the switching movement of the housing (220).
2. The switching module (102) according to Claim 1, wherein the switching module (102) exhibits a tray (112) having the control contour (244), wherein the housing (220) is disposed such that it can move in relation to the tray (112), in order to be able to execute the switching movement in relation to the tray (112).
3. The switching module (102) according to one of the preceding Claims, wherein the switch unit exhibits an antenna or an interface for transmitting the switching signal (810) to an antenna (820).
4. The switching module (102) according to one of the preceding Claims, wherein the switch unit exhibits at least one electrical output contact (367) for forming a push button on at least one position on the housing (220), wherein the switch unit is designed to generate the switching signal (810) based on the electrical pulse, and an engagement state of the electrical output contact (367).
5. The switching module (102) according to one of the preceding Claims, wherein the switch unit exhibits a first electrical output contact (367) for forming a first push button at a first position on the housing (220) and at least one second output contact (369) for forming a second push button at a second position on the housing (220), wherein the
37

switch unit is designed to generate the switching signal (810) based on the electrical pulse and an engagement state of the first electrical output contact (367) and the at least one second electrical output contact (369).
6. The switching module (102) according to Claim 5, having a cover plate (114) for covering the housing (220), wherein the cover plate (114) exhibits a means (250) for enabling a separation (270) of a short circuit connection between the first electrical output contact (367) and the at least one second electrical output contact (369).
7. The switching module (102) according to one of the preceding Claims, wherein the switching module (102) exhibits a retaining element for holding the at least one button (111) of the switch (100) down, wherein the retaining element is designed to enable a relative movement of the at least one button (ill) in relation to the housing (220), if the at least one button (111) is held down by the retaining element.
8. The switching module (102) according to one of the preceding Claims, wherein the energy converter (234) is designed to provide a electrical pulse in response to a movement of the actuator (222) in the opposite direction of the actuation movement, wherein the switch unit is designed to generate a switching signal (810) based on the electrical pulse, for indicating a return movement of the housing (220).
9. A method for indicating an actuation of a switch (100), wherein the switch (100) exhibits a button (111) that can be actuated, which is attached in a moveable manner to a housing (220) of the switch (100), that is disposed in a moveable manner, and wherein the method comprises the following steps:
detection (1090) of a relative movement between the button (111) and the housing (220); providing (1092) an electrical pulse in response to a synchronous movement between the button (111) and the housing (220); and
generation (1094) of a switching signal (810) based on the electrical pulse and the relative movement detected in the detection step (1090), to indicate the actuation of the switch (100).
38

10. A switch (100) having the following features:
a base plate (104) to which the switch (100) is firmly attached;
at least one button (111) for actuating the switch (100); and
a switching module (102) according to one of the preceding Claims, wherein the
switching module (102) is disposed between the base plate (104) and the at least one
button (111).
11. A method for controlling a device (900) by means of a switching signal (810) of a
switch (100), wherein the device (900) can assume numerous states, and enables a
smooth transition between two end states of the numerous states, wherein the method
comprises the following steps:
receiving (980) the switching signal (810) via an interface, wherein the switching signal
(810) represents a switching signal (810) of a switch (100) according to Claim 10;
determination (982) of whether the switching signal (810) indicates the switching
movement or a return movement, in the opposite direction of the switching movement, of
the housing (220) for the switching module (102);
generation (984) of a start signal for starting a smooth transition from a current state of
the numerous states of the device to one of the at least two end states, when the switching
signal (810) indicates the pivotal movement; and
generation (986) of a stop signal for terminating the smooth transition to the one of the at
least two end states when the switching signal (810) indicates the return movement.
