Abstract: ABSTRACT 5 A system and a method for an optimized real-time reliability determination of an offshore platform is disclosed. The present invention provides for collecting sensor data from a plurality of sensors placed at the bottom of an offshore platform structure. The sensor data comprises of base shear data and wave 10 height data. Relation between the base shear data and the wave height data is determined. Load modelling is performed by determining a limit state equation. Further, probability of failure of the offshore platform based on the determined limit state equation is determined, thereby resulting in an optimized 15 reliability determination of the offshore platform in realtime.
