, Description:Technical field of the Invention:
The present invention generally relates to the mobile application for educational purposes. More specifically, the present invention relates to a mobile application with personalized quiz creation feature.
Background and prior art:
The most advanced and effective communication device which is most popular in this century is the mobile phone. The mobile phones are the vast variety of consumers from corporate workers and qualified professional to the students, farmers and even small children. People from all types of groups have indefinite access for mobile phones, which leads to several issues that can last for a lifetime. The usage of the mobile phone has drastically increased due to the popularity of the social media platforms which offers various services and enables even the common man’s voice to be heard. The increased use of mobile phones are seen in all age groups and the use of mobile phones by children is highly noticeable as they are highly capable of using any advanced type of mobile phones even without any proper guidance.
Though mobile phones are the effective mode of communication, it is a well-known fact that it also has adverse side effects if being over used. The mobile phones emit shockwave radioactive radiations that affect the body in various manners, which can include lack of concentration, low grades, poor immunity, increased risk of chronic pains, vision problem, and lack of sleep, affects the emotions of an individual in a negative manner and also increases the stress level, cyber bullying, and many more.
Parents must take strict preventive measures to minimize their child's exposure to the harmful effects of mobile phones which can be done in various ways including not giving cell phone to children below 16 years as the child's brain is too sensitive to withstand the effects of mobile radiation, not letting the child hold a mobile phone directly up to his head, not letting the child to make calls in buses, trains, cars, and elevators as the mobile phone works harder to get the signal out through the metal, which increases the power level, not letting the child use mobile phone when the signal is weak, limit and restrict themselves using the cell phone when children are around, not letting children take mobile phones to school etc.,
In this fast moving and fast growing world, the creation advanced technology, with the growing use of mobile phones and other gadgets are considerably harming the younger generation. According to a child psychiatrist, especially the students are developing a strong connection with their mobile phones, which is leading to a massive loss in their concentration and time spent in studies. Anything which is available, accessible, new, fast and related to information and technology tends to attract a lot of people. When children see their parents, family members and everybody in their surroundings using cell phones, they adapt this as a natural phenomenon.
The students mainly use mobile phones for gaining access to the education related applications or learning applications. Despite knowing about education-related applications, the kids spend most of their time on the mobile phone listening music, playing mobile games, chatting and calling friends, following social media and so on.
In short, excessive use of mobile phones is becoming a distraction for students and is wasting their time. They are delved into the virtual world to an extent that they forget all other important things. Also there are some games in current trend which are leading the children to commit suicide or commit a crime which is more horrifying. Such incidents prompt the parents to limit the access to the mobile phones for their children.
Objectives of the invention:
The primary objective of the present invention is to provide a system and method for a mobile application for educational purpose.
Another objective of the present invention is to provide a system and method for a mobile application which can create a personalized quiz based on the study material of the particular class in which the child is studying.
Another objective of the present invention is to provide a system and method for a mobile application where the parents can build a personalized quiz for their child.
Another objective of the present invention is to provide a system and method for a mobile application which enables the child to take the quiz and only on passing the quiz with a set minimum score, the child is allowed to use the mobile phone for a particular period of time.
Summary of the invention:
The present invention describes system and related method for a mobile application which can be used to build a personalized quiz, which can gain the child an access to use the mobile phone for a particular amount of time. According to the present invention, the mobile application has a feature for creating a personalized quiz, which can be used by the parents in order to create a quiz. The quiz can be prepared from the study material of the child which can also help them to score well in their exams.
The components of the present invention includes, a smart phone with active internet connection or a WiFi connection and a mobile application with personalized quiz building feature. According to the present invention, the smartphone has to be installed with the mobile application prior to use and the user has to register themselves with the mobile application for further access. The mobile application which has been installed in the smart phone can be further accessed with an active internet connection or a WiFi connection through which a parent can create a personalized quiz with interactive learning facility, which is a fun way to learn things and also makes the kids to concentrate on studies.
According to the present invention, the method of operation of the mobile application involves creation of the personalized quiz based on the study material of the child i.e. based on the class or grade in which they are studying. Once the quiz has been created, the parent is asked to set the minimum passing score for the particular quiz which is set as a threshold limit. After the minimum passing score is set, the personalized quiz is provided to the child, who has to take part in the quiz which has a set time limit for each question. After the child has answered all the questions, the mobile application automatically calculates the score, and if the score earned by the child is higher than the set threshold minimum score, then the child is awarded with a limited access i.e. for example 30 minutes, to the mobile phone. As an incentive for passing the quiz with a set minimum score, the child can gain access to the mobile phone, which they can use for a set period of time.

Detailed description of the invention
The present invention discloses a system and method for learning different foreign languages. The components of the present invention includes a mobile phone with an active internet connection or a Wi-Fi connection, a mobile application having features including virtual assistant feature, voice recognition feature and a database.
FIG 1 illustrates the schematic representation of the method employed for learning a foreign language using the mobile application. Referring to FIG 1, the mobile phone is installed with the mobile application with the help of the internet or Wi-Fi prior to usage. The user would have to register themselves with the mobile application using a user ID and a password for access in future. Post registration the user would have to select the language which they prefer to learn i.e. language B and the input language i.e. language A. The input is provided to the mobile application in the language A which is recognized by the voice recognition feature in the mobile application and the input is converted to the language B. The output in the language B which his generated by the mobile application is delivered in the form of an audio speech which can be heard by the user.
According to the present invention, the mobile application is linked directly to a database which contains translations of the words and sentences from one language to another. The database is continuously updated with the new words and sentences. The voice recognition feature of the present invention is used to recognize the voice of the user and read the words spelled by the user. The mobile application of the present invention is initially set to a preferred language for conversion and it converts the words and sentences which are spelled by the user to the preferred language and virtual assistant of the present invention spells the words or sentences in the preferred language, which can be heard as an audio output by the user.
The present invention uses voice recognition software which can recognize the voice of the user, which are then converted to text form. The primary advantage of using the voice recognition feature is that the text which is converted into the preferred foreign language can be heard by the user through the virtual assistant which has a greater accuracy around context and content. The voice recognition feature in enhanced by the artificial intelligence behind it, which makes the feature to operate better in handling and recognizing different accents and background noise, to provide an accurate output.

The mobile application of the present invention can be used to teach foreign language to the students, which is a part of their curriculum. As the words, spellings and pronunciations are perfect in the mobile application, the students can listen, see and learn in a faster pace than compared to the classroom teaching, where pronunciations vary from person to person. The features of mobile technology such as the portability and information accessibility plays a major role in the enhancement of language learning aspect.
According to the present invention, the learning of different foreign languages using the mobile application enables the students learn more than one language at a faster pace, in less amount of time, with near perfection. Apart from the foreign languages which are part of the curriculum, the students can opt to learn various other languages using the mobile application.
Additionally, the mobile application can also be installed in various other electronic devices including personal digital assistant (PDA), iPad, tablets, laptops etc., the schools can also create and personalize their own database, based on the syllabus of the year and help the students to learn the language. As students are the primary learners, the interactive way of learning different foreign languages is highly efficient way of teaching, as they can easily remember it for longer time.
There are several benefits of the present invention which includes:
a. Easy and interactive way of learning;
b. Easy and inexpensive access to different foreign languages;
c. Availability of the study material to learn the languages round the clock;
d. Alternate mode of learning along with the classroom learning;
