System And Method For A Technology Enabled Personalized And Practice Based Pedagogy

Abstract: The embodiments herein provide a system and method for a technology enabled, personalized and practice-based learning. Current methods of teaching and learning do not enable a teacher to provide personalized feedback and inputs to most of the students. The embodiments herein provide a hybrid system of physical and virtual infrastructure 102s for personalized and practice-based learning. The virtual infrastructure 102 comprises modules and processes for enabling an automated guidance and monitoring of a personalized learning mechanism. The student's handwritten and/or digital notes and recording of classroom sessions are processed by the system for automatically preparing customized study-aid tools based on a student's requirements. An artificial intelligence engine recognizes and understands a student's notes and provides a learning map to the student. The method comprises a process to enable a customized learning method that is designed by an artificial intelligence engine based on a student's requirements.

1. A method for providing a technology enabled, personalized and practice-
based pedagogy, the method comprising:
reading a machine-readable code associated with a student through a scanner, and wherein the machine-readable code is any one of a Quick Response (QR) code, a bar code and a Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) code;
providing interactive lecture and teaching in small groups, including a concept based discussion in the classroom lecture format through a physical class room or a video conference facility;
conducting personalized revision through an online platform, by enabling the student to access a teacher for clearing doubts, tagging important concepts for future revision;
giving personalized practice for enabling continuous improvement along with assisted practice under guidance of a mentor and access to the teacher to discuss doubts and questions in real-time through the on-line platform;
detecting gaps in the student’s learning and identifying the areas requiring focus of a student is to focus more for delivering personalized remote revision plan, and wherein an artificial intelligence system identifies the areas where a student is to focus more and identifies the areas where there is a gap in the student’s learning; and
delivering personalized remote assignment, based on performance in past practice sessions and remote revision, to consolidate the learning process and provide additional practice to achieve learning objective.
2. A system for providing a technology enabled, personalized and practice-
based pedagogy, the system comprising:
a scanner for reading a machine-readable code associated with a student, and wherein the machine-readable code is any one of a Quick

Response (QR) code, a bar code and a Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) code ;
a physical infrastructure (101) for delivering physical discourse and facilitating real time interaction, based on the machine-readable code and performing assessment of the student based on the physical discourse; and
a virtual infrastructure (102) for enabling personalized and practice-based pedagogy, the virtual infrastructure (102) comprising:
an online platform for enabling practice-based learning and providing on-demand personalized attention, the online platform selectively functioning in conjunction with the physical infrastructure (101) for delivering physical discourse, and wherein the online platform comprises:
an artificial intelligence engine configured for generating a concept gap data and learning map for the student, and wherein the artificial intelligence engine is configured for processing students notes, and wherein the students note depicts physical discourse and real time interaction, for at least one of recording and verification of the students notes and generation of the learning map based on the students notes;
a practice module configured for providing at least one assignment and a learning material based on the assessment of the student post the physical discourse;
a revision module configured for generating a virtual performance data, and wherein the virtual performance data comprising recording presence of the student and conducting assessment of the student based on the virtual discourse; and
a virtual setup for delivering virtual discourse based on the performance of the student recorded by the online platform; and
a central server coupled to the virtual infrastructure (102), the central server configured for coordinating between the physical infrastructure (101) and the virtual infrastructure (102), and wherein the central server is configured for selectively engaging the virtual

infrastructure (102) based on assessment of the student based on the physical discourse. wherein the central server is configured for generating a student profile and associating a machine-readable code for each student enrolled at the system;
wherein the physical infrastructure (101) comprises an examination module configured for performing assessment of the student based on the physical discourse, and wherein the online platform is configured for synchronizing the virtual performance data generated for a student with the data stored in the student profile associated with the student.
3. The system as claimed in claim 2, comprises an authentication module for authenticating the student based on the machine-readable code.
4. The system as claimed in claim 2, wherein the student notes is in a hand written format or digital format.
5. The system as claimed in claim 2, wherein each of the assignment and the learning material is in at least any one of textual, audio and video format, and wherein each of the assignment and the learning material is delivered in an online mode or offline mode.
6. The system as claimed in claim 2, comprises a web application module for use in a user device, and wherein the user device is communicatively coupled to the central server via a communication network, and wherein the web application module provides an interface for the user with the central server.
