TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
This invention generally relates to digital advertisement, and more particularly to adaptive
digital advertisement in real-time.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The advent of digital era has ushered new arenas of business development and advertisement
opportunities previously unheard of, for example after primary research, it has been found
that a patient spends a substantial amount of time i.e., 15-60 minutes at most of such instances waiting in the doctors’ waiting room before the patient gets to see the doctor irrespective of
whether the patient have had a prior appointment or the patient is a regular at that doctor’s premises. While the patient is waiting, the patient may generally idle around or engage with persons accompanying the patient. Recent scenarios have shown end-consumer/patients fiddling with their cell phones and other such personal digital assistants. Another probable
scenario may encompass the patient to look around for magazines/ newspapers or any other
form of literature available at the waiting room that may help the patient to pass the long
waiting time.
Irrespective of the different dimensions of the waiting rooms there is substantial vacant space
on the walls and other periphery of such waiting rooms. Some portions of such vacant space
may house content and print media that mostly pertain to unpronounceable medical jargon
and pictorial charts about human anatomy that the patient is clueless about.
Such scenarios may also be observed at various service/product providers that may require
end consumers to wait out a considerable interval of time before they can avail the service, such as, but not limiting to, service and repair stations for automobiles, electronic gadgets, public related consultancy firms, essential services contact centres. The time spent at such premises to avail such services is totally unproductive and may cause irritation to end
consumers that may have to suffer them.
In addition, sectors such as BFSI, FMCG, Consumer Healthcare companies, industries related to automobiles, house hold appliances, digital wallets to name a few are always on the lookout for new avenues and ways to promote and advertise their offerings to existing and probable target audience The skewed ratio of demand and supply may entice such entities with the perfect opportunity to pitch their product/service offerings to a 100% potential customer when 100% of the customers attention may be focussed towards their products/service offerings. .
The present invention aims at achieving the objective to the next level and provides one such
system and method.
OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
The main object of the present invention is to provide a system and method to engage the
end-consumer/patient occupied with interactive digital infotainment while waiting to avail
the desired services/products.
Another object of the present invention is to provide a system and method for digital
advertisements that may be customized in real-time based on generic profiling of endconsumer/patient deduced on basis of customer’s responses to interactive digital infotainment apart from the end-consumer’s history with the service provider.
Other objects and advantages of the present invention will become apparent from the
following description taken in connection with illustrations and examples to further disclose
the aspects of the present invention.
