1. A system for annotating web content comprising of;
a. a web browser such as internet;
b. a client interface; and
c. user computer/laptop/tablet;
wherein, the client interface is for interacting with website database to take permission to access the content which needs to be annotated.
2. The method for annotating web content comprising of;
a. receiving request to website database to access webpage from a user;
b. entering website URL needs to be accessed;
c. displaying web content through client interface;
d. creating annotation in webpage after selection of particular portion; and
e. adding some text in selected portion of the webpage.
wherein, the text is added only after permission from the host database server and new annotation is added in the selected portion of the displayed web-page.
3. The system as claimed in claim 1, wherein the said web content is stored to an electronic storage medium, such as the user's computer hard drive, flash drive, CD-ROM, DVD-ROM, etc.
4. The system as claimed in claim 1, wherein the said annotation is made by the people on website database and can be viewed, shared for other people.
, Description:FIELD OF THE INVENTION:
The present invention relates to a system and method of marking, organizing, and searching Web-based documents. The present invention more particularly relates to a system and method for marking and annotating webpages based on user’s highlighted preferences history.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION:
Current consumers seeks advice from other people related to their products in the form of their past experience, opinion, comments from other consumers before purchase of any one or more products and services. Online consumer generated media, online suggestions available and oral discussions have major effect on consumer’s buying habits than traditional marketing.
Online transactions can have high risk of failure or fraud. When one party involved in transaction via the Internet or other online source, then it is often thought that sellers are with more information about the product than the purchasers. Internet can be used to gather information related to products, services, travelling, vacation, different spots, webpages. A lot of information originates from unknown sources can be falsified or unreliable. So the only reliable thing is reviews, opinions, comments about the products on different websites can be from the actual company as they were tested, used and appreciated. Competitor can also post negative review/ comments related to the particular product/service.
Individual can access or read or view the web content like articles, videos, photographs, animations. The user may want to save the webpage, highlight, create comments regarding the web content or send it to other individuals. A user can save the web content. For eg: on a particular portion/ term, a user may want to comment on and can send webpage and other annotation to one or more individuals. User can add text before or after the article or a user can place specific comments/annotations in webpage.
So there is a need in the prior art to provide relevant, accurate information to user in order to increase the reliability of information for the customer. So a simple system and method is needed for annotating and collecting web based documents. The present invention is a system and method for annotating web based documents including annotation such as text, link, highlighter and audio directly to web based documents such as any person with a web browser can view the annotations.
OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION:
The main object of the present invention is to permit users to be active in giving solutions, advice, comments, remarks related to various products, services, webpages, and articles.
Yet another object of the present invention is to permit users, members, or residents of the interactive social network to be active in open dialogue of problems, solutions, advice, comments, reviews, and other annotations relating to various products, services, entities, web pages, articles, etc.
Other objects and benefits of the present invention will be more apparent from the following description, which is not intended to bind the scope of the present invention.

The present invention permit users to be active in giving solutions, advice, comments, remarks related to various products, services, webpages, articles. The present invention is a method which provides relevant, accurate guidance to user via communication network such as internet. The method for annotating web content comprising of; Receiving request to website database to access webpage from a user; Entering website URL needs to be accessed; Displaying web content through client interface; Creating annotation in webpage after selection of particular portion; Adding some text in selected portion of the webpage; Wherein the text is added only after permission from the host database server and new annotation is added in the selected portion of the displayed web-page.

The present invention is a system and method for annotating web content. The present invention permit users to be active in giving solutions, advice, comments, remarks related to various products, services, webpages, articles. The present invention permit users, members, or residents of the interactive social network to be active in open dialogue of problems, solutions, advice, comments, reviews, and other annotations relating to various products, services, entities, web pages, articles, etc.

The present invention enables the user to have control of whom, he/she believes to be a reliable source for annotating the content.
For eg: If two members are connected with each other through a social network such as through hobby, geographical location, interest, area or zone and if they consider each other as reliable source, they can give permission to each other to access the website and change the web content according to their needs.
Each member can post comments, opinions, reviews, annotations within another member’s network system. The members can evaluate and/or identify the requested web content, and searches for network objects, such as the comments, opinions, reviews, annotations, etc., which are affiliated with or otherwise at least partially related to the web content. User can search the database by web addresses or search queries in a search engine. Only the users through network criteria are allowed to add comments, review, opinions so that the negative opinions, comments are lessened and the web content is added by reliable persons. The web content and annotation is saved to the electronic storage medium and viewed at a later time and/or shared with other individuals. The other individuals can create their own annotation content which is viewed and can be shared. This overall creates a working document in which reviews, opinions, comments, pictures, photographs and videos which allow members to gather information, share thoughts.
The annotation systems require users to annotate documents which are particularly suitable for word processing applications. If a user wants to send an annotated document to another person, the user can email the document as an attachment and expecting the recipient the same application software to view the document. The user can save the web content and/or the annotations to an electronic storage medium, such as, for example, the user's computer hard drive, flash drive, CD-ROM, DVD-ROM, etc. The web content and/or annotation may be communicated to a network and/or annotation server which is linked to the interactive social network. Other members of the interactive social network those in the user's personal or common network, may access the web content and/or annotation. The members may then create their own annotation within the web content, thereby creating a working document thereof.
