Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a plug shaft (100) and/or a socket shaft (200) for use in a shaft connection system (300, 500, 800) of a wind turbine. The plug shaft (100) includes a tapered plug end portion (110) for engaging a tapered socket end portion (210, 682, 683) in the shaft connection system (300, 500). The socket shaft (200) includes a tapered socket end portion (210) for engaging a tapered plug end portion (110, 782, 783) in the shaft connection system (300, 800). The present disclosure also relates to a shaft connection system (300, 500, 800) of a wind turbine. The shaft connection system (300, 500, 800) includes a first shaft (100, 200) comprising a first tapered end portion (110, 210) and a second shaft (100, 200, 600, 800) comprising a second tapered end portion (110,210,610,810).
