, Description:FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention discloses the system and method for construction training by using Internet of Things. Particularly, invention related to construction sector.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
To run smoothly any industry, require the skilled labours. Construction is also one of it. Skilled labour gives efficient output without wastage of time and with all safety. Staffing job sites with talent is getting harder. As standards and regulations increase, training get more difficult, time-consuming, and expensive. After all that there’s the problem of worker retention. With a smaller pool and high turnover come increased risks of mistakes, blown deadlines, on-site injuries and damaging litigation.
Construction needs a training solution that improves performance, cultivates safety, and closes the experience gap — all while reducing cost and risk. That’s no small task.
Every construction site, no matter what stage of development, is rife with potential accident opportunities. While the workers may be experts in one particular area, they may not be aware of the dangers and potential accidents that can happen onsite. Currently there is no such system which gives training to labour in virtual worlds which are less time consuming.
The present invention discloses the system and method for construction training using virtual reality technology. Technology making complicated things to simple one. And construction training using virtual reality is one of them.
Virtual Reality (VR) is the use of computer technology to create a simulated environment. Unlike traditional user interfaces, VR places the user inside an experience. Instead of viewing a screen in front of them, users are immersed and able to interact with 3D worlds.
Virtual reality is a simulated experience that can be similar to or completely different from the real world. Applications of virtual reality can include entertainment and educational purposes. Other, distinct types of VR style technology include augmented reality and mixed reality.
OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION
The main object of the invention is that, the system and method for construction training using virtual reality technology.
Another object of the invention is that, avoid real life dangers during training.
Another object of the invention is that, reduced training cost.
Another object of the invention is that, improved performance.
Other object of the invention is that, prepare labour for emergency procedure.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
The present invention discloses the system and method for construction training using virtual reality. The application of construction training using virtual reality is installed at server. The application is designed in a such a way that for a map spaced is in a scale ratio with original space, means one feet of labour in real employ 10 or 15 feet in virtual reality. This scale is defined in application. Virtual reality enabled headset is connected to server with the help of wi-fi modem. Virtual reality enabled headset is connected with construction training application of the server. Any worker/user wear the headset and enter in the room\space where actual area is mapped with virtual area. Virtual reality headset creates simulated environment of construction training step by step. User/worker can choose which training should be taken for particular time. User/worker feels that he/she is the one of the members of that virtual world. And pursue the construction training without any risk.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF INVENTION
The present invention discloses the system and method for construction training by using virtual reality technology.
Virtual reality training is now exploring new sector, construction training is one of them. With virtual reality, workers can train in a simulated, life-like environment. Construction equipment training simulators are becoming more prevalent and accepted in the construction industry.
The system and method for construction training by using virtual reality is comprising of:
Backend server – the construction training by virtual reality application is installed
Virtual reality enabled device such as headset – is connected with server using wi-fi modem
Wi-Fi modem – for connectivity between backend server and virtual reality enabled device
The system and method for construction training by using virtual reality can be work as following:
Step 1) The construction training by virtual reality application is installed at backend server
Step 2) VR enabled headset is connected with backend server
Step 3) Virtual worksite is mapped with real space in proper scale
Step 4) User/worker wear VR enabled headset and enter in the virtual worksite area
Step 5) User/worker can feel that he/she is in the construction training scene
Step 6) User/worker performs various training related to construction site
The actual area/space is mapped with virtual worksite in proper scale ratio. With the help of VR enabled headset, worker/user feels that he/she is actually doing training in virtual worksite.
There are some advantages of construction training by using virtual reality such as;
It avoids real life dangers and disruptions - Working at height using construction equipment and tools is particularly risky, and remains one of the biggest causes of fatalities in the construction industry. Training in a VR environment removes that element of danger. Who knows, in the future, maybe we’ll be able to control the entire on-site process from the comfort of VR.
Higher retention and reduced training cost - This form of training also has the benefit of being quicker and easier to track. Rather than finding the time, travel, and resources to locate a free work site, this innovative model brings everything you need in one place. No inconvenience or disruption from the weather; you can do everything from a permanent site. VR training can be run over and over again with no additional incremental cost or trainee risk.
Preparing for an emergency procedure - Another safety aspect that can be improved upon with VR is the ability to prepare workers and project managers in the execution of any emergency procedures, fire drills, or hazards. This immersive training can include simulating the way personal protective equipment works and how it should be used in an emergency. It’s near impossible to do this in a real-life setting without risks involved.
Better performance - Complex projects and problems for training can be simplified with difficulty levels and choices, easing the mind of both the trainer and the trainee. trainees can perform to their best ability and focus on the task at hand rather than fearing for the safety of pedestrians or other workers. The realistic nature of the VR technology also means that the training is not limited; if anything, there are more options and choices through technological advancements, which will only continue to expand. Not to mention the typical training scenario is surrounded by distractions. The virtual environment shuts out the world, allowing them to concentrate on the task at hand. They are more likely to pick up all the relevant information they need without worrying about the people around them.
