TECHNICAL FIELD
[001] The disclosed subject matter relates generally to location-based services systems. More particularly, the present disclosure relates to a system and method for displaying prompts in real time based on real time locations.
BACKGROUND
[002] Outdoor Advertising on vehicles is conventional. Static advertisements like posters and stickers are put on buses, taxicabs, delivery vehicles, etc. However, as these advertisements are static, they are often irrelevant to the constantly changing audience as the vehicles are in transit. Additionally, these advertising mediums are not well suited to local businesses that operate on a constrained budget and would like to target people in the vicinity of their business establishments without committing themselves to an expensive advertising campaign.
[003] Moreover, the static advertisements do not effectively address the targeted locations, different profiles of people, or different conditions at the targeted locations. Some types of information, such as advertising, can be more effective or useful if it is restricted to only certain specific locations. A user who travel through a geographic region uses different types of mobile or portable computing platforms to obtain various geographical related features and services. The users need to know the name of a store or a restaurant in the immediate vicinity to search for geographical locations.
[004] In the light of aforementioned discussion, there exists a need for certain system with a novel methodology that would overcome the above-mentioned disadvantages.
