[0002] In general, business entities always prefer to make their presence felt either physically or virtually and communicate with their users/customers across multiple geographical locations. Typically, the business entities create their own mobile application and launch through the ' preferred communication mediums for enabling the users/consumers to download the mobile application to the handheld device. This would preferably help the business entities to promote the updates and advertise their products and services and reward the users/customers.

[0003] The conventional mobile application of the business entities has the capability of providing and transmitting the location based advertisements consisting the rewards or redemption details to the handheld device of the users/customers. However, downloading an individual application of each entity is a cumbersome task to the users/consumers and also it is difficult for the business entity to manage and update the mobile application at regular intervals. Moreover, the conventional mobile applications of the business entities fails to engage with the , users/customers in real time and in an interactive means and also have the limitation of not tracking the behavior of the users/customers to reward them instantly. Furthermore, the conventional mobile applications of the business entities do not work in conjunction with receiving feedback from the users/customers, engage the users/customers with the mobile application in an interactive or gamified manner, or enable the users to perform multiple interactive activities and earn instant rewards/incentives for the being engaged with the mobile application.

[0004] In the light of afore mentioned discussion, there exists a need for an single platform where multiple business entities can create customized user engaging services which can be launched through a single location based mobile application which establishes a real time interactive communication between an entity and users subscribed to the location based mobile application.

Next at step 906 the entity's negative list is retrieved and the method further continues to step 908a to find the advertisement relevant to the subscribed users and at step 908b adaptive weights corresponding to the subscribed user are retrieved. Finally at step 910, the advertisements are ranked and published over the handheld unit of the subscribed user.

[0055] According to a non limiting exemplary aspect of the present invention, advertisements may be published over the handheld unit of the subscribed user based on the current background video or image of the location based user engaging service. On identifying the current , background video or the image of the location based user engaging service with which the subscribed user is currently engaged with, the metadata of the current background video or the image is updated to the advertisement server unit. The advertisement corresponding to the entity or the other third party advertisers may be embedded with the background video or image and published over the handheld unit. According to an exemplary aspect of the present disclosure, advertisements published over the handheld unit may be displayed as full screen and may also be saved in the menu of advertisements menu for later viewing. An algorithm of the location based mobile application dynamically identifies the timeline and background of the each frame of the current background video or image along with the attributes of the subscribed user including but not limited to geography, semantics, wish list and the like for publishing the targeted advertisements over the handheld unit of the subscribed user.

[0056] Referring to FIG. 10 is sequence diagram 1000 depicting a method of the subscribed user engaging with the location based user engaging service and earning instant rewards/incentives. The subscribed user allowed updating a chosen game by transmitting a request to the user engaging server unit at step 1002. The user engaging server unit responds to the request and updates the game at step 1004. The subscribed user would play the updated game at step 1006 and at step 1008 the subscribed user may play a multiplayer game. Next at step 1010 user's data is retrieved by the server unit. Relevant advertisements are retrieved from the advertisement server by the user engaging server unit by transmitting a request to the advertisement server unit at step 1012 and the relevant advertisements are retrieved from the advertisement server unit at step 1014 and the advertisements are published over the handheld unit of the subscriber at step 1016. During the process of retrieving the relevant advertisements, the subscribed user plays the game and at step 1018 the game ends and at step 1020 the winner of the game is determined in the multiplayer session. The details of the subscribed user winning the game is communicated to the server unit at step 1022. The sequence continues to step 1024 wherein the reward for the winner is determined by the server unit and the user preferences are retrieved from the user preferences database unit at 1028 by transmitting a request to the rewards database unit by the server unit at step 1026. Next at step 1030 and 1032 the details corresponding to the previous rewards earned or redeemed by the winner are retrieved. Finally the rewards earned by the winner by playing the game is communicated to the user at step 1034 and stored in the rewards database unit at step 1036.
