Abstract: SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR FACILITATING DIGITAL BUSINESS TRANSFORMATION OF AN ORGANIZATION ABSTRACT A system and method for facilitating digital business transformation of an organization is disclosed. The method includes receiving a request to achieve digital business transformation of an organization and receiving one or more business attributes. The method further includes generating a set of strategies and executing the set of strategies. Furthermore, the method includes tracking execution of the set of strategies and generating the one or more recommendations based on tracking. The method includes outputting the set of strategies and the one or more recommendations to one or more user devices (102) associated with the user, one or more professional devices (108) associated with one or more professionals or a combination thereof to execute the set of strategies and the one or more recommendations based on the determined priority for achieving the digital business transformation of the organization. Claims:We Claim:
1. A computing system (104) for facilitating digital business transformation of an organization, the computing system (104) comprising:
one or more hardware processors (202); and
a memory (204) coupled to the one or more hardware processors (202), wherein the memory (204) comprises a plurality of modules (112) in the form of programmable instructions executable by the one or more hardware processors (202), wherein the plurality of modules (112) comprises:
a data receiver module (210) configured to:
receive a request from a user to achieve digital business transformation of an organization associated with the user; and
receive one or more business attributes associated with the organization from at least one of: the user and one or more external sources (110) based on the received request, wherein the one or more business attributes comprise: competitor analysis, customer interviews and journey maps, customer feedbacks customer insights, problem statements, existing solutions, customizable solutions and workshops;
a data generation module (212) configured to generate a set of strategies based on the received request, the received one or more business attributes and predefined information by using a digital transformation based Artificial Intelligence (AI) model;
a strategy execution module (214) configured to execute the set of strategies at plurality of platforms and technologies associated with the organization for achieving the digital business transformation of the organization, wherein the plurality of platforms and technologies comprise: Global Positioning System (GPS) navigation, payment gateway, social network and business services;
a strategy tracking module (218) configured to dynamically track execution of the set of strategies by using the digital transformation based AI model;
a recommendation module (220) configured to generate one or more recommendations associated with the set of strategies based on the dynamic tracking of execution of the set of strategies by using the digital transformation based AI model, wherein the one or more recommendations comprise: one or more insights, one or more analytics reports and one or more predictions corresponding to the organization; and
a data output module (222) configured to output the generated set of strategies and the generated one or more recommendations to at least one of: one or more user devices (102) associated with the user and one or more professional devices (108) associated with one or more professionals to execute the set of strategies and the one or more recommendations for achieving the digital business transformation of the organization.

2. The computing system (104) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the existing business implementation of the organization comprises: governance, roadmap, planning, solutioning, staffing and budgeting of the organization.

The computing system (104) as claimed in claim 1, further comprises a data determination module (216) configured to determine priority of each of the generated set of strategies based on the received request, the received business attributes and the predefined information by using the digital transformation based AI model, wherein the set of strategies is executed based on the determined priority at the plurality of platforms and technologies associated with the organization for achieving the digital business transformation of the organization.

4. The computing system (104) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the one or more recommendations comprise: customer journey maps, customer workshops, ideation, surveys, interviews and strategies.

The computing system (104) as claimed in claim 1, wherein in generating the set of strategies based on the received request, the received one or more business attributes and the predefined information by using the digital transformation based AI model, the data generation module (212) is configured to:
correlate the received request, the received one or more business attributes and the predefined information;
generate the digital transformation based AI model based on result of the correlation; and
generate the set of strategies based on the generated digital transformation based AI model.

The computing system (104) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the data determination module (216) is configured to determine existing development state of the organization based on the received request, the one or more business attributes and the predefined information, wherein the existing development state of the organization is one of: digital beginner, digital follower, digital leader and digital champion.

7. The computing system (104) as claimed in claim 1, further comprises a data updating module (224) configured to update the set of strategies based on the generated one or more recommendations.

8. A method for facilitating digital business transformation of an organization, the method comprising:
receiving, by one or more hardware processors (202), a request from a user to achieve digital business transformation of an organization associated with the user;
receiving, by one or more hardware processors (202), one or more business attributes associated with the organization from at least one of: the user and one or more external sources (110) based on the received request, wherein the one or more business attributes comprise: competitor analysis, customer interviews and journey maps, customer feedbacks customer insights, problem statements, existing solutions, customizable solutions and workshops;
generating, by the one or more hardware processors (202), a set of strategies based on the received request, the received one or more business attributes and predefined information by using a digital transformation based Artificial Intelligence (AI) model;
executing, by the one or more hardware processors (202), the set of strategies at plurality of platforms and technologies associated with the organization for achieving the digital business transformation of the organization, wherein the plurality of platforms and technologies comprise: Global Positioning System (GPS) navigation, payment gateway, social network and business services;
tracking, by the one or more hardware processors (202), execution of the set of strategies, dynamically by using the digital transformation based AI model;
generating, by the one or more hardware processors (202), one or more recommendations associated with the set of strategies based on the dynamic tracking of execution of the set of strategies by using the digital transformation based AI model, wherein the one or more recommendations comprise: one or more insights, one or more analytics reports and one or more predictions corresponding to the organization; and
outputting, by the one or more hardware processors (202), the generated set of strategies and the generated one or more recommendations to at least one of: one or more user devices (102) associated with the user and one or more professional devices (108) associated with one or more professionals to execute the set of strategies and the one or more recommendations for achieving the digital business transformation of the organization.

9. The method as claimed in claim 8, wherein the existing business implementation of the organization comprises: governance, roadmap, planning, solutioning, staffing and budgeting of the organization.

The method as claimed in claim 8, further comprises determining priority of each of the generated set of strategies based on the received request, the received one or more business attributes and the predefined information by using the digital transformation based AI model, wherein the set of strategies is executed based on the determined priority at the plurality of platforms and technologies associated with the organization for achieving the digital business transformation of the organization.

11. The method as claimed in claim 8, wherein the one or more recommendations comprise: customer journey maps, customer workshops, ideation, surveys, interviews and strategies.

12. The method as claimed in claim 8, wherein generating the set of strategies based on the received request, the received one or more business attributes and the predefined information by using the digital transformation based AI model comprises:
correlating the received request, the received one or more business attributes and the predefined information;
generating the digital transformation based AI model based on result of the correlation; and
generating the set of strategies based on the generated digital transformation based AI model.

13. The method as claimed in claim 8, further comprises determining existing development state of the organization based on the received request, the one or more business attributes and the predefined information, wherein the existing development state of the organization is one of: digital beginner, digital follower, digital leader and digital champion.

14. The method as claimed in claim 8, further comprises updating the set of strategies based on the generated one or more recommendations.

, Description:FIELD OF INVENTION
[1] Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a digital business transformation framework and more particularly relates to a system and a method for facilitating digital business transformation of an organization.
BACKGROUND
[2] Digital business transformation is a journey that an organization adopts to become customer centric and maximize profitability. The digital business transformation is applicable to every industry that would like to evolve continuously with the help of customer centric data and by continuously addressing needs of its customers by making amends or pivoting their existing business. Further, digital business transformation framework is a set of processes, templates and methods implemented across different lifecycle of the organization’s growth for achieving the digital business transformation. As a result of the digital business transformation, the organizations change business models and adapt to new market reality. Furthermore, the customers of an organization have various expectations from the organization including fast service, service availability, quality of service, device compatibility and the like. In order to meet the customers’ expectations, the organization generates and performs a set of strategies to achieve the digital business transformation by considering expectations of its customers.
[3] Conventionally, there are multiple digital business transformation frameworks for achieving digital business transformation. However, the conventional digital business transformation frameworks fail to consider resources associated with small companies and startups, such as number of employees and number of technical tools available with the organization, while generating the set of strategies to achieve the digital business transformation. Further, the conventional digital business transformation frameworks do not dynamically track execution of the set of strategies to check status of the set of strategies. The conventional digital business transformation frameworks also fail to provide one or more recommendations for managing the set of strategies to achieve the digital business transformation.
[4] Hence, there is a need for a system and method for facilitating digital business transformation of an organization in order to address the aforementioned issues.
SUMMARY
[5] This summary is provided to introduce a selection of concepts, in a simple manner, which is further described in the detailed description of the disclosure. This summary is neither intended to identify key or essential inventive concepts of the subject matter nor to determine the scope of the disclosure.
[6] In accordance with an embodiment of the present disclosure, a computing system for facilitating digital business transformation of an organization is disclosed. The computing system includes one or more hardware processors and a memory coupled to the one or more hardware processors. The memory includes a plurality of modules in the form of programmable instructions executable by the one or more hardware processors. The plurality of modules include a data receiver module configured to receive a request from a user to achieve digital business transformation of an organization associated with the user. The data receiver module is also configured to receive one or more business attributes associated with the organization from at least one of: the user and one or more external sources based on the received request. The one or more business attributes include: competitor analysis, customer interviews and journey maps, customer feedbacks customer insights, problem statements, existing solutions, customizable solutions and workshops. The plurality of modules also include a data generation module configured to generate a set of strategies based on the received request, the received one or more business attributes and predefined information by using a digital transformation based Artificial Intelligence (AI) model. The plurality of modules further include a strategy execution module configured to execute the set of strategies at plurality of platforms and technologies associated with the organization for achieving the digital business transformation of the organization. The plurality of platforms and technologies include: Global Positioning System (GPS) navigation, payment gateway, social network and business services. The plurality of modules also include a strategy tracking module configured to dynamically track execution of the set of strategies by using the digital transformation based AI model. Further, the plurality of modules further include a recommendation module configured to generate one or more recommendations associated with the set of strategies based on the dynamic tracking of execution of the set of strategies by using the digital transformation based AI model. The one or more recommendations include: one or more insights, one or more analytics reports and one or more predictions corresponding to the organization. The plurality of modules include a data output module configured to output the generated set of strategies and the generated one or more recommendations to at least one of: one or more user devices associated with the user and one or more professional devices associated with one or more professionals to execute the set of strategies and the one or more recommendations for achieving the digital business transformation of the organization.
[7] In accordance with another embodiment of the present disclosure, a method for facilitating digital business transformation of an organization is disclosed. The method includes receiving a request from a user to achieve digital business transformation of an organization associated with the user. The method also includes receiving one or more business attributes associated with the organization from at least one of: the user and one or more external sources based on the received request. The one or more business attributes comprise: competitor analysis, customer interviews and journey maps, customer feedbacks customer insights, problem statements, existing solutions, customizable solutions and workshops. The method further includes generating a set of strategies based on the received request, the received one or more business attributes and predefined information by using a digital transformation based Artificial Intelligence (AI) model. The method also includes executing the set of strategies at plurality of platforms and technologies associated with the organization for achieving the digital business transformation of the organization. The plurality of platforms and technologies include: Global Positioning System (GPS) navigation, payment gateway, social network and business services. Further, the method includes tracking execution of the set of strategies, dynamically by using the digital transformation based AI model. The method includes generating one or more recommendations associated with the set of strategies based on the dynamic tracking of execution of the set of strategies by using the digital transformation based AI model. The one or more recommendations include: one or more insights, one or more analytics reports and one or more predictions corresponding to the organization. Furthermore, the method includes outputting the generated set of strategies and the generated one or more recommendations to at least one of: one or more user devices associated with the user and one or more professional devices associated with one or more professionals to execute the set of strategies and the one or more recommendations for achieving the digital business transformation of the organization.

[25] FIG. 1 is a block diagram illustrating an exemplary computing environment 100 for facilitating digital business transformation of an organization, in accordance with an embodiment of the present disclosure. According to FIG. 1, the computing environment 100 includes one or more user devices 102 associated with a user communicatively coupled to a computing system 104 via a network 106. The one or more user devices 102 may be used by the user to generate a request for receiving a set of strategies and one or more recommendations associated with the set of strategies from the computing device for achieving digital business transformation of the organization associated with the user. The user may also use the one or more user devices 102 for providing one or more business attributes to the computing system 104. Further, the computing environment 100 includes one or more professional devices 108 associated with one or more professionals communicatively coupled to the computing system 104 via the network 106. In an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, the one or more professionals include Product Experience Teams (PXT). The PXT are supervised under an expert panel of architects and product managers. Each PXT may have professionals from experience and engineering paradigms, user experience, development, Verification and Validation (V&V) and design, development and the quality analysis. The one or more professional devices 108 may be used by the one or more professionals to receive the set of strategies and the one or more recommendations associated with the set of strategies from the computing system 104, such that the one or more professionals may execute the set of strategies and the one or more recommendations associated with the set of strategies to achieve the digital business transformation of the organization. In an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, the one or more user devices 102 and the one or more professional devices 108 may include a laptop computer, desktop computer, tablet computer, smartphone, wearable device, smart watch and the like. In an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, the network 106 may be internet or any other wireless network 106. Further, the computing system 104 is a digital business transformation framework for achieving the digital business transformation. The computing system 104 may be hosted on a central server, such as cloud server or a remote server.
[26] Further, the computing environment 100 includes one or more external sources 110 configured to transmit the one or more business attributes to the computing system 104. In an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, the one or more external sources 110 may be external databases configured to transmit the one or more business attributes to the computing system 104. For example, the one or more external sources 110 include user’s website, customers’ websites, competitors' websites, social media pages of the user, customers and competitors and the like. Details on the one or more business attributes have been elaborated in subsequent paragraphs of the present description with reference to FIG. 2. In an embodiment of the present disclosure, a set of platforms are integrated with the computing system 104 for achieving the digital business transformation of the organization. For example, when slack tool is used by the user as a communication tool, the computing system 104 is integrated with the slack tool.
[27] Further, the one or more user devices 102 and the one or more professional devices 108 include a local browser, a mobile application or a combination thereof. Furthermore, the user and the one or more professionals may use a web application via the local browser, the mobile application or a combination thereof to communicate with the computing system 104. The user and the one or more professionals may use the computing system 104 to receive the set of strategies and the one or more recommendations associated with the set of strategies for achieving the digital business transformation of the organization. The computing system 104 includes a plurality of modules 112. Details on the plurality of modules 112 have been elaborated in subsequent paragraphs of the present description with reference to FIG. 2.
[28] In an embodiment of the present disclosure, the computing system 104 is configured to receive the request from the user to achieve digital business transformation of the organization associated with the user. The computing system 104 receives the one or more business attributes associated with the organization from the user, the one or more external sources 110 or a combination thereof based on the received request. Further, the computing system 104 also generates the set of strategies based on the received request, the received one or more business attributes and predefined information by using a digital transformation based Artificial Intelligence (AI) model. The computing system 104 executes the set of strategies at plurality of platforms and technologies associated with the organization for achieving the digital business transformation of the organization. Further, the computing system 104 dynamically tracks execution of the set of strategies to obtain one or more tracking parameters by using the digital transformation based AI model. The computing system 102 also generates one or more recommendations associated with the set of strategies based on the dynamic tracking of execution of the set of strategies by using the digital transformation based AI model. Furthermore, the computing system 104 outputs the generated set of strategies and the generated one or more recommendations to the one or more user devices 102 associated with the user, the one or more professional devices 108 associated with the one or more professionals or a combination thereof to execute the set of strategies and the one or more recommendations for achieving the digital business transformation of the organization.
[29] FIG. 2 is a block diagram illustrating an exemplary computing system 104, such as those shown in FIG.1, for facilitating digital business transformation of an organization. The digital business transformation is operational, cultural and organizational change of the organization by integrating digital technologies, competencies and processes across all functions and levels in a strategic manner. In an embodiment of the present disclosure, the computing system 104 may operate in five phases of the digital business transformation i.e., customer discovery phase, orchestration phase, implementation phase, analytics phase and governance phase. The computing system 104 comprises one or more hardware processors 202, a memory 204 and a storage unit 206. The one or more hardware processors 202, the memory 204 and the storage unit 206 are communicatively coupled through a system bus 208 or any similar mechanism. The memory 204 comprises the plurality of modules 112 in the form of programmable instructions executable by the one or more hardware processors 202. Further, the plurality of modules 112 includes a data receiver module 210, a data generation module 212, a strategy execution module 214, a data determination module 216, a strategy tracking module 218, a recommendation module 220, a data output module 222 and a data updating module 224.
[30] The one or more hardware processors 202, as used herein, means any type of computational circuit, such as, but not limited to, a microprocessor unit, microcontroller, complex instruction set computing microprocessor unit, reduced instruction set computing microprocessor unit, very long instruction word microprocessor unit, explicitly parallel instruction computing microprocessor unit, graphics processing unit, digital signal processing unit, or any other type of processing circuit. The one or more hardware processors 202 may also include embedded controllers, such as generic or programmable logic devices or arrays, application specific integrated circuits, single-chip computers, and the like.
[31] The memory 204 may be non-transitory volatile memory and non-volatile memory. The memory 204 may be coupled for communication with the one or more hardware processors 202, such as being a computer-readable storage medium. The one or more hardware processors 202 may execute machine-readable instructions and/or source code stored in the memory 204. A variety of machine-readable instructions may be stored in and accessed from the memory 204. The memory 204 may include any suitable elements for storing data and machine-readable instructions, such as read only memory, random access memory, erasable programmable read only memory, electrically erasable programmable read only memory, a hard drive, a removable media drive for handling compact disks, digital video disks, diskettes, magnetic tape cartridges, memory cards, and the like. In the present embodiment, the memory 204 includes the plurality of modules 112 stored in the form of machine-readable instructions on any of the above-mentioned storage media and may be in communication with and executed by the one or more hardware processors 202.
[32] The storage unit 206 may be a cloud storage. The storage unit 206 may store the one or more business attributes, the set of strategies and priority of each of the set of strategies. The storage unit 206 may also store the one or more tracking parameters and the one or more recommendations.
[33] The data receiver module 210 is configured to receive the request from the user to achieve the digital business transformation of the organization associated with the user. In an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, the existing business implementation of the organization includes governance, roadmap, planning, solutioning, staffing, budgeting of the organization and the like. In an embodiment of the present disclosure, the roadmap is a strategic plan that defines one or more goals of the organization and includes milestones to reach the defined one or more goals.
[34] Further, the data receiver module 210 is configured to receive the one or more business attributes associated with the organization from the user, the one or more external sources 110 or a combination thereof based on the received request. In an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, the one or more business attributes include competitor analysis, customer interviews and journey maps, customer feedbacks customer insights, problem statements, existing solutions, customizable solutions, workshops and the like. In an embodiment of the present disclosure, the one or more business attributes may be obtained at the customer discovery phase. The problem statements are set of issues faced by the organization. The customer discovery phase results in understanding key principles, goals, vision of business of the organization, how journey of the organization is planned and progressing. In an embodiment of the present disclosure, the customer discovery phase provides adequate insights on improvement areas of the organization and determines how to re-prioritize strategy for achieving the organizational vision. The customer discovery phase may also facilitate in understanding current state of the organization with respect to customer conversions, revenue generated, customer feedback, addressal and the like. In an embodiment of the present disclosure, the one or more external sources 110 may be external databases configured to transmit the one or more business attributes. For example, the one or more external sources 110 include user’s website, customers’ websites, competitors' websites, social media pages of the user, customers and competitors and the like.

The data lake architecture includes data cataloging and governance, data processing engine, data warehouse and analytical services. In an embodiment of the present disclosure, the computing system creates the data lake architecture that processes all types of data, such that the processed data may be available for various operations. The data collected from various sources, such as streaming media, on premise data, from one or more applications and the like is pushed to the data lake architecture. Further, the data goes through a batch processing engine that takes the data through different data warehouses and to several analytics services, such as Predictive Modelling, AI and Machine Learning and data logic services in the form of one or more recommendations. In an embodiment of the present disclosure, design thinking 414 of the digital business transformation is based on four ideologies i.e., innovation 416, experience 418, technology 420 and insights 422. In an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, external tools and frameworks 622 corresponding to the creation of CD-POD include Google Analytics, Figma, MIRO Board, Trello, Google slide, survey monkey, built with, UXPressia and the like. In an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, external tools and frameworks 624 corresponding to the creation of UX-POD include Invision, XD, HTML 5 CSS, Trello, Google, Figma, storyboard that, overflow, mirobaord and the like. Further, a digital transformation enablement software services layer 626 helps the team to collaboratively work on the service offering using third party tools, as shown in FIG. 6B. The service offerings include customer delivery services 628 and UX research and experience design services 630. In an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, the customer delivery services 628 include customer journey maps, customer workshops, ideation, surveys, interviews and the like. In an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, the UX research and experience design services 630 include interview, surveys, empathetic observation, competitor analysis, HMWs, ideation, strategies and the like. Furthermore, an outcomes layer 632 provides output events and elements of that service offering. The customer discovery 404 phase is performed for obtaining product vision, customer journeys, define problems, customizable solutions, solutions and the like. Further, UX research and experience 634 include strategies, goals, ideation, budgeting, clickable prototypes, architecture, interview insights, personas, journey maps, survey reports, prioritization matrix and the like. In an embodiment of the present disclosure, the outcomes layer 632 may act as an input to the next service offering or may store end results of digital transformation service offering 636.
[62] FIGs. 7A-J are a graphical user interface screen of a web application capable of facilitating digital business transformation of the organization, in accordance with an embodiment of the present disclosure. FIG. 7A is the graphical user interface screen of the web application which is used to add one or more organizations for facilitating the digital business transformation of the one or more organizations. The graphical user interface screen is also used to view progress percent and current process of each of the one or more organizations. Further, the graphical user interface screen is used to add team members. FIG. 7B is the graphical user interface screen of the web application for displaying customer journey maps. Further, FIG. 7B also displays information on how to create the customer journey maps. The graphical user interface screen also displays current-status of the customer journey map, such as pending or in-progress. Furthermore, the graphical user interface screen is also used to perform multiple process, such as add new customer journey map, open, and edit existing journey maps and the like. FIG. 7C is the graphical user interface screen of the web application which is used to select one or more processes associated with different stages of the digital business transformation. For example, stages of the digital business transformation may be pre-discovery, discovery, discovery reports, ideation and the like. In an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, processes associated with the pre-discovery stages include market study, challenges and trends, problem hypothesis and the like, as shown in FIG. 7C. The graphical user interface screen is also used to add information on organization, project name and add team members.
[63] Further, FIGs. 7D-F is the graphical user interface screen of the web application for displaying dashboard including progress of each of the stages of the digital business transformation. In the current scenario, progress of pre-discovery stage is 100%. Furthermore, the dashboard also displays index score, MLP timeline, ideation report, customer discovery, recent activities and the like. The graphical user interface screen is also used to add new team member, calculate index score, view progress of processes and switch projects. FIG. 7G is the graphical user interface screen of the web application for displaying solutions corresponding to the HMW’s in progress. The graphical user interface screen is used to add new solution and generate results. Further, the graphical user interface screen displays solutions in accordance with their priority. For example, the most prioritized solution is listed as 1. The solutions may be prioritized by dragging a “dot” icon of each solution in upward and downward directions. FIG. 7H is the graphical user interface screen of the web application for selecting a plan corresponding to one or more process associated with development stages of the digital business transformation. Each plan has a fixed number of processes. For example, lite plan includes three processes associated with discovery stage, three processes associated with ideation stage, three processes associated with prototype stage and three processes associated with launch pad stage, as shown in FIG. 7H. Further, FIG. 7I is the graphical user interface screen of the web application for prompting one or more questionnaires to the user for determining existing development state of the organization. The graphical user interface screen also displays digital transformation index score. FIG. 7J is the graphical user interface screen of the web application for displaying the determined existing development state of the organization. In the current scenario, the existing development state of the organization is digital follower.
[64] Thus, various embodiments of the present computing system 104 provide a solution to facilitate digital business transformation of the organization. The data used within the computing system 104 in the form of customers interacting with the application, the different data points such as demographics, the pages often visited, the functions most used and preferred and the like are fed into the data lake architecture. The data points are then cataloged and sorted and data analytics such as predictive data modelling, machine learning and business intelligence is used. The one or more insights are then shared with visionaries of the company and appropriate steps are taken at each stage. Further, the computing system 104 automatically generates the set of strategies and prioritizes the generated set of strategies to maximize the profit of the organization upon execution of the set of strategies in accordance with the priority order. Furthermore, the computing system 104 also generates the one or more recommendations to update the generated set of strategies. Thus, the computing system 104 generates the most optimal set of strategies to achieve the digital business transformation.
[65] The written description describes the subject matter herein to enable any person skilled in the art to make and use the embodiments. The scope of the subject matter embodiments is defined by the claims and may include other modifications that occur to those skilled in the art. Such other modifications are intended to be within the scope of the claims if they have similar elements that do not differ from the literal language of the claims or if they include equivalent elements with insubstantial differences from the literal language of the claims.
[66] The embodiments herein can comprise hardware and software elements. The embodiments that are implemented in software include but are not limited to, firmware, resident software, microcode, etc. The functions performed by various modules described herein may be implemented in other modules or combinations of other modules. For the purposes of this description, a computer-usable or computer readable medium can be any apparatus that can comprise, store, communicate, propagate, or transport the program for use by or in connection with the instruction execution system, apparatus, or device.
[67] The medium can be an electronic, magnetic, optical, electromagnetic, infrared, or semiconductor system (or apparatus or device) or a propagation medium. Examples of a computer-readable medium include a semiconductor or solid-state memory, magnetic tape, a removable computer diskette, a random-access memory (RAM), a read-only memory (ROM), a rigid magnetic disk and an optical disk. Current examples of optical disks include compact disk-read only memory (CD-ROM), compact disk-read/write (CD-R/W) and DVD.
[68] Input/output (I/O) devices (including but not limited to keyboards, displays, pointing devices, etc.) can be coupled to the system either directly or through intervening I/O controllers. Network adapters may also be coupled to the system to enable the data processing system to become coupled to other data processing systems or remote printers or storage devices through intervening private or public networks. Modems, cable modem and Ethernet cards are just a few of the currently available types of network adapters.
[69] A representative hardware environment for practicing the embodiments may include a hardware configuration of an information handling/computer system in accordance with the embodiments herein. The system herein comprises at least one processor or central processing unit (CPU). The CPUs are interconnected via system bus 208 to various devices such as a random-access memory (RAM), read-only memory (ROM), and an input/output (I/O) adapter. The I/O adapter can connect to peripheral devices, such as disk units and tape drives, or other program storage devices that are readable by the system. The system can read the inventive instructions on the program storage devices and follow these instructions to execute the methodology of the embodiments herein.
[70] The system further includes a user interface adapter that connects a keyboard, mouse, speaker, microphone, and/or other user interface devices such as a touch screen device (not shown) to the bus to gather user input. Additionally, a communication adapter connects the bus to a data processing network, and a display adapter connects the bus to a display device which may be embodied as an output device such as a monitor, printer, or transmitter, for example.
[71] A description of an embodiment with several components in communication with each other does not imply that all such components are required. On the contrary, a variety of optional components are described to illustrate the wide variety of possible embodiments of the invention.
