, Description:FIELD OF THE INVENTION
This present invention discloses the system and method for finding using augmented reality technology. The field of present invention is the fire brigade sector.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
A firefighter, also known as a fireman, is a highly skilled man or woman who works to combat and extinguish fires. They also take steps to prevent fires, act as emergency medical technicians (EMT) and investigate the causes of fires.
Firefighters typically do the following: Drive fire trucks and other emergency vehicles. Put out fires using water hoses, fire extinguishers, and water pumps. Find and rescue victims in burning buildings or in other emergency situations.
A fireman is important in a community for many reasons. They help people and animals in emergencies. They help to put out fires, so our houses, other buildings, and land don't burn down. They teach us how to be safe around fire.
But there are some problems in front of firefighter such as; smoke, oxygen deficiency, elevated temperatures, and poisonous atmospheres. Additional hazards include falls and structural collapse that can exacerbate the problems encountered in a toxic environment. To combat some of these risks, firefighters carry self-contained breathing equipment.
But due to smoke it is very difficult to find any casualties and the exit path. Currently there is no such system which can guide firefighter about any causalities near to them in fire place and exit path for building.
The present invention suggests the solution to above problems. It suggests the real time finding causalities in fire using augmented reality technology.
Augmented reality (AR) is a type of interactive, reality-based display environment that takes the capabilities of computer-generated display, sound, text and effects to enhance the user's real-world experience.
OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
The main object of the invention is, system and method for finding causalities in fire using augmented reality technology.
Another object of the invention is, smart headset or smart glass with AR feature/ AR enabled device is required.
Other object of the invention is, application is installed to backend server.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
The present invention discloses the system and method for finding causalities in fire using augmented reality technology. The system and method comprising of: The application should install at backend server. Augmented Reality enabled smart glass or headset is attached to Firefighter’s helmet. As firefighter enters into fired building, he/she can see the causalities in fire. So, he/she can go directly go to the causalities and help them to rescue.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Fig 1 shows flowchart of the method and computer program for this invention.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The present invention discloses the system and method for finding causalities in fire using augmented reality technology.
The present invention system is comprising of contents such as;
Backend server – Installed finding causalities in fire application
Any Augmented Reality enabled electronic device such as AR headset or AR glass
An application of finding causalities in fire application
The present invention implemented in a combination of both hardware and software.
The present invention system is comprising of;
Step 1) The finding causalities in fire application is installed at backend server
Step 2) Any Augmented Reality enabled electronic device (may be AR smart glass or AR Headset) which is connected to backend server with the help of wi-fi connectivity
Step 3) Firefighter wear AR device while entering Building which is fire affected
Step 4) Firefighter can see any causalities in fire with the help of AR device
Step 5) Firefighter rescue causalities from the fire
This is general overview of system. System is not bounded to this only.
This invention is very helpful for firefighter while rescuing the causalities. As to enter into fire affected building or area and find causalities is really a tough job. Many factors come as obstacles while finding causalities which surely affect searching time, rescuing time and exit time. It is not just going into fire, and come with causalities. This invention is using Augmented reality technology.
The main aspect of invention is, when fire start, the surrounding of building changes to very toxic environment. Some problems are come in way of firefighter while rescuing casualties such as smoke, oxygen, deficiency, elevated temperatures, and poisonous atmospheres.
Due to smoke it is really hard to find any causalities. Even if it is near to firefighter but due to visibility issues firefighter cannot find where it is actually. And it may cost loss of causalities. With the help of present invention, the firefighter with AR enabled device can easily find whether there are any causalities near to him/her. When causalities find, without wasting time firefighter process rescue operation.
Other aspect of the invention is that, while rescuing it may happen firefighter get confused to find exit path due to tremendous situation which is really risky for life of firefighter and also causalities. The present invention helps firefighter to see the exit path with the help of Augmented Reality enabled device.
The system has advantages such as;
It is time saving. As firefighter enters into fire, without wasting a time, with the help of AR enabled device he/she can find causalities near to him/her. So, no more searching for causalities in fire situation.
It has real time visibility of AR device. When fire starts, the level of smoke gets increased, in a such way that, after some time it is very hard to see anything in this surrounding. Even if self-hand cannot be visible properly. With the help of the invention, by using AR device visibility is clear, no obstacles are there.
Augmented reality (AR) is a type of interactive, reality-based display environment that takes the capabilities of computer-generated display, sound, text and effects to enhance the user's real-world experience.
