Abstract: Accordingly, a system and method for generating incentive offers based on their purchase history with the website is disclosed. A system for generating incentive offers to the customers comprising of; An internal web server database of website; A laptop/computer/tablet; A communication network such as internet for connecting customer with the web server database of the website. The present invention provides incentives to purchasers of various products in order to enhance sales within a predetermined time period for individual purchasers and to provide the ability to enable potential purchasers to specify incentive parameters that would motivate them to make a purchase and to let manufacturers or other incentive providers analyze collective data and create an incentive based on this information.

Claims:1. A method for generating incentive offers to the customers comprising the steps of;
a. storing user profile of registered users (purchasers) in internal web database of website;
b. gathering information about the customer from collection of registered user profiles;
c. activating the hyperlink in order to access an original intended destination from the information gathering system;
d. retrieving the user profile from the profile database; and
e. sending a message to selected customers about incentive offers.
2. A system for generating incentive offers to the customers comprising of:
a. an internal web server database of website;
b. a laptop/computer/tablet; and
c. a communication network such as internet for connecting customer with the web server database of the website.
3. The system as claimed in claim1, wherein the points are stored in the user profile history for next transaction.
4. The system as claimed in claim 1, wherein the said incentive offers includes award points for the registered users and are specific to the information gathered by the internal database of the web based server.
, Description:FIELD OF THE INVENTION:
The present invention relates to a system and method for providing incentives to purchasers and improves sales within a fixed time period. The present invention more particularly relates to a system and method for generating incentive offers to the customers based on their purchase history with the website.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION:
Sales promotion includes taking suggestions from all staff like sales team, price reductions on items, discount coupons distributed to shopkeeper, through pamphlets, through advertisements on media like TV, newspapers, and internet. Generally sales promotion is carried out through individual stores.
Two types of marketing campaigns are carried out national and local marketing campaign. Typically discounted price attracts the customers. Marketing campaigns encourage people to purchase products due to seasonal need, price reduction. This type of marketing campaigns increase the sales profit and no. of items sold out.
Another type of promotion is by giving one item free by purchasing other item (complimentary offer). Such type of offers attracts customers to buy products and automatically enhance the sales and profits. These types of promotions are selected and the better quality offer is more likely to result in additional purchase of other items. The quality of sales promotion may be affected by with the skill of individual making the selection of items.
Websites offer various incentive offers to their customers (purchasers) to buy certain products during offer period. If a website manufacturer spends some amount of money on mass market advertising to promote a particular program. This type of advertising approach is over inclusive or under inclusive with respect to the group of likely potential buyers. This leads to market inefficiencies. Over-incenting leads to lower profit margins and under-incenting leads to excess inventory. Other drawbacks include the lead time necessary to implement a rebate program, the lack of meaningful information about potential purchasers and what would prompt them to buy at any given time, and the inability to effectively target individual or specific groups of purchasers.
The information requested by the client can be the information relating to a hyperlink of the website. When a specific search term is put by the consumer, then the results obtained are as the information got from the web server. Several messages are exchanged in between client and the server.
The owner of a website expects information about the people requesting information from his web site. It allows the owner to adjust and arrange the content of the website according to customer preferences. Customer preferences are decided on the basis of the particular information put by user in the search terms. Browser version and the address of the local device are available for collection by the server. This limited demographic information is typically inadequate for most content tailoring, because it contains very little personal information about the visitor.
A survey is conducted and some questions are asked to consumers based on their first visit to the website. Profile information is stored in the website. Thus profiles of various customers are saved and each time when the visitor returns to the web site, his profile information is associated with the requests he makes and the transaction information is collected for further analysis for customer trends.
However, customer suffers from such techniques as visitors are irritated by the inconvenience of multiple questions from various websites which they have visited for purchase. So visitors always try not to disclose their personal information to customers. Visitors prefer anonymous browsing in an effort to reduce junk e-mail. Although many web sites guarantee anonymity, others do not. Investigating individual proprietors privacy policies while browsing can be burdensome. Still further, collection of demographic information by individual proprietors precludes analysis by that proprietor that goes beyond his particular web site.
So there is a need for a system and method for generating incentive offers to the customers based on their purchase history with the website. The purchase history will help website owner to develop his promotional offers/incentives based on trends.
OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION:
An object of the present invention is to provide a system and method for generating incentives to purchasers of various products in order to enhance sales within a predetermined time period for individual purchasers.
Another object of the present invention is to provide the ability to enable potential purchasers to specify incentive parameters that would motivate them to make a purchase and to let manufacturers or other incentive providers analyse collective data and create an incentive based on this information.
Other objects and benefits of the present invention will be more apparent from the following description, which is not intended to bind the scope of the present invention.

A system for generating incentive offers to the customers comprising of; An internal web server database of website; A laptop/computer/tablet; A communication network such as internet for connecting customer with the web server database of the website. The present invention provides incentives to purchasers of various products in order to enhance sales within a predetermined time period for individual purchasers and to provide the ability to enable potential purchasers to specify incentive parameters that would motivate them to make a purchase and to let manufacturers or other incentive providers analyse collective data and create an incentive based on this information.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS:
The present invention is a system and method for generating incentives to the customers based on their purchase history. In this system, when a user purchases a product or service from a website, the data is stored in purchase history. The purchase history of the user for long period of time is collected and monitored to know what type, brand, seller, etc., the user is comfortable with. Based on this, the incentive offers can be provided to every customer by the website, as a discount or bonus offer the website collects all the data of every user and based on their purchase history, the incentive offers are provided to them.
This is also customised system where the incentive offers provided to every customer will be different, mainly based on their purchase history.
In one embodiment, a method for generating incentive offers to the customers comprising the steps of: storing user profile of registered users (purchasers) in internal web database of website; gathering information about the customer from collection of registered user profiles; activating the hyperlink in order to access an original intended destination from the information gathering system; retrieving the user profile from the profile database; and sending a message to selected customers about incentive offers.
In another embodiment, a system for generating incentive offers to the customers comprising of: an internal web server database of website; a laptop/computer/tablet; a communication network such as internet for connecting customer with the web server database of the website.
In an aspect of the invention, a method of generating a personalized offer for a user through an information gathering system disposed on the Internet includes storing user profiles of registered users in a internal web server profile database formed by gathering the information of the customers where the user activates the hyperlink in order to access an original destination to determine whether the user is a registered users, and retrieving the user profile from the profile database and sending a promotional message if the user is registered users and purchased products from the website.
Customers are presented with a catalog of products to choose from, by the web server or server environment. When they visit the system for online sales, they can get automatic rebate and coupon redemption. If the customer selects one or more products from the catalog or list of products available at the system for online sales, they are provided with the option of purchasing the products with the automatic retrieval. They are also provided with the option of downloading them for purchasing those products at a future time.
When the customer selects the products from the website, all applicable coupons are applied to the customer’s purchase. Customer can use a credit card for payment. The customer’s credit cards are used for sales processing.
Customer profiles which are created at the time of customer profile generation are used to complete the transcation process and to ship products. The customer profile includes shipping address, credit card related information. The customer profile which is created is used for fulfilling the process of customer purchases. The customers who purchased some products directly without creation of customer service profile have to enter their required information like shipping address, credit card related information during the purchasing process. The customer retrieves coupons for one or products discounted offers by emails or incentive offers. The customer can proceed further for purchasing products. The system completes a purchase order for the customer by selecting all the products selected by the customer and apply discounted price for the products purchased. Then the products are delivered to the customers at respective address mentioned while doing the purchase transaction.
A connection is established over the Internet between the computer and the manufacturer allows user selection of purchasable items, optionally via a catalog of items presented to the customer by the manufacturer. After selecting the desired items into a shopping cart, the customer invokes a rebate and coupon button on a screen presented by the manufacturer those results in the submission of the shopping cart to the system. In response, the system returns all applicable coupons to each of the items in the customers shopping cart. This includes manufacturer's coupons, retailer's coupons etc.
The online customer using the personal computer accesses the Internet via a connection employing a modem on his computer and browser software on his computer. By using his browser software, navigates to a manufacturer such as an electronic mall, to purchase one or more items of his choice. A connection is established over the Internet between the computer and the manufacturer allows user selection of purchasable items, optionally via a catalog of items presented to the customer by the manufacturer. The coupons are automatically applied by the manufacturer in the determination and display of a final price for the customer.
The incentive offers includes award points for the registered users wherein the incentive award points are specific to the information gathered by the internal database of the web based server and wherein the award points are redeemable for a product or service. Discount or bonus offer the website collects all the data of every user and based on their purchase history, the incentive offers are provided to them. Personalized incentive offers are also sent to the customer.
In case, the incentive award points are not used by the customer, the points are stored in the user profile history for next transaction. In some cases, incentive may remain as it is and other new offers are sent to the customer. At that time, the existing incentive is considered to some extent only; to currently available incentive.
The system may enable a user to search by category or all or some incentives may be displayed for a user to view. If the user is able to search by category, some of the search categories may include the manufacturer, model or other characteristics of a product, the amount of the incentive, the availability of the incentive based on other characteristics
