Abstract: The invention is the system and method of jewellery shopping using augmented reality technology. The web application of jewellery has been created. The user with high definition smart phone opens the application. Search for particular jewellery. And check suitability of jewellery on user’s body part using augmented reality technology. The three-dimensional view of jewellery is sent to the user’s graphical view of body where camera of smart phone is focused.

a. High definition smart phone
b. Web application for jewellery shopping
c. User has to select particular jewellery from the menu
d. Application send three-dimensional image of jewellery to camera focused body part of user where user can see augmented reality image of jewellery.
2) The system claimed in claim 1 wherein, due to augmented technology user can see each and every angle of jewellery.
3) The system claimed in claim 1 wherein, user can see whether particular jewellery is looking good on user’s body or not.
4) The system claimed in claim1 wherein, helps user in decision making.

This application is generally related to jewellery shopping by using augmented reality technology. With the help of augmented reality technology customer can experience the real feel of jewellery before buying it.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Shopping is just not need but it is also becoming hobby of people. As internet introduced in shopping it changes the face of shopping. Online shopping is just making its significant space and value in shopping area.
Jewellery shopping also changes from its traditional shopping to online shopping. Due to the expensive price tag and unique nature of fine jewellery, some customers may be hesitant to purchase luxury jewellery items sight unseen. For example, in purchasing loose diamonds, since no two diamonds are alike, a customer may be especially particular about seeing the actual stone in person. Thus, it may be desirable for online jewellery retailers to partner with local brick-and-mortar stores in order to provide additional features and opportunities for their online retail customers.
Online shopping is a form of electronic commerce which allows consumers to directly buy goods or services from a seller over the Internet using a web browser.
But there are some negative points of online shopping such as, Delay in delivery, Lack of touch and feel of merchandise, lack of interactivity, lack of shopping experience, lack of close examination in online shopping.
But in online shopping, customer can not check how the particular jewellery will suit and fit to the customer body. It may create confusion to customer mind about particular jewellery for its shape, size. So currently if buying jewellery online customer has to take the risk of these issues. To avoid these issues customer has to go personally to jewellery shop physically. As today everyone is so busy, so going to shopping physically is really time consuming.
Currently there is no such system, which make assurance of perfect shape and size of jewellery for customer.
Present invention solves above problems. The invention discloses the system and method for jewellery shopping by using augmented reality technology.
The main disadvantage is, Online shoppers do not have the ability to physically inspect or try on the items being considered for purchase. Online shoppers do not always know if a site is a legitimate retail store and if is safe to shop. Restocking and shipping costs are often charged on returns.
The present invention suggests the solution to above problems. It suggests the retail shopping using augmented reality technology.
Augmented reality (AR) is a type of interactive, reality-based display environment that takes the capabilities of computer-generated display, sound, text and effects to enhance the user's real-world experience.
It is very useful for jewellery industry. Augmented reality technique now taking good hike in jewellery industry, making jewellery shopping more realistic and enjoyable.

The main object of the invention is, jewellery shopping using augmented reality technology.
Another object of the invention is, smart phone with high definition is required.
Another object of the invention is, application is installed to the high definition smart phone.
Other object of the invention is, shopping is more realistic due to augmented reality technology.

With option ‘check suitability’, camera of smart phone gets on. It Capture the graphical display of body part where camera is focused. The three-dimensional display of jewellery sent to graphical display of place. Which combinedly show how the jewellery will look on particular body part of customer/user. Which help in decision making of buyer.

Step 1) The high definition smart phone having active internet connection
Step 2) The user/customer opens the application of jewellery shopping
Step 3) Select the jewellery for purchasing
Step 4) Press button ‘check suitability’
Step 5) The three-dimensional view of the jewellery is displayed in the graphical image of body part where mobiles camera focused
Step 6) user/customer can see whether particular jewellery is suitable for particular body part or not

Augmented reality has the potential to revolutionize mobile shopping by bringing jewellery to life in front of customer through 3D models that customer can size up, examine from all angles, and even place on the self-body part.
The Augmented reality tech allows customers to make sure the jewellery, look great before buying. Cutting-edge hand-scanning technology with AR is creating a benchmark impact on the customers as well as businesses. The user can virtually check and add the selected item to a shopping cart like any other e-commerce app.
Here by using the invention buyer/consumer can see how the jewellery look actually at body part. User can zoom in or zoom out the image to see the jewellery design minutely.
It helps user/customer to imagine how the jewellery look on the user’s/customer’s body part.

It engages and excites buyer. When jewellery shopper has valuable leads, he/she want to keep buyer engaged and interested in their jewellery.
It provides audience with valuable visuals. One of the biggest problem’s consumers face is trying to visualize a product in their lives.

The example of this invention is as, suppose anyone who wants to purchase gold ring. User would open the web application. Search for rings. User like some 3-4 types of rings, but confused about what to buy. Now with the help of this invention, user can see how particular ring will look on his finger.
User would check for each and every angle of ring. So, it is very helpful for user in decision making for shopping.
