DESC:FIELD OF INVENTION

The present invention of the computationally implemented method for an article of sale enabling direct distribution of the article through online stores by connecting a provider of goods, an online store and a logistics service providers through a common platform.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

The rapid development of information technology and systems has brought significant change to commerce world and has increased the consumer demand for online shopping. While the online stores have made it convenient for consumers to shop but the provider of goods are struggling with a humungous effort of selling their hundreds of products through dozens of online stores. Currently, most manufacturers across the world distribute their article of manufacture through the traditional distributor and retailer network in which the distributors physically procure the article of manufacture from the manufacturer, store them in their warehouses and distribute to retailers, who in turn sell the article of manufacturer to consumers.

However, when it comes to service industry such as travel and entertainment (airlines, hotels, buses, trains, rental cars, restaurants etc.) they have adopted the concept of global distribution system and method to distribute their inventory (seats) directly to retailers i.e. both agencies and e-commerce portals, who in turn sell the inventory to consumers.

Moreover, most of the online stores present in the given scenario works on the criteria where the provider or the manufacturer of the article or the goods have to approach the given online store in order to launch or sell their new article of manufacture wherein, this approach also leads to unavailability of new launched article of manufacture on all the online stores available that are in the market which in turn decrease the market for the article of manufacture for the provider or the manufacturer.

Therefore, there remains a need to overcome above mentioned problems and our invention resolve this entire problem.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The main objective of the present invention is to overcome the limitations of the prior arts by providing a computationally implemented method which provides an improved system for the distribution and delivery of the article of manufacture by at least one provider through at least one online store. Herein, the system and method of the present invention allows at least one provider of at least one article of manufacture to connect the server of at least one online store and at least one logistics service providers to automate the process of online selling. The system and method of the present invention preferably provide a new and improved way for at least one provider of at least one article of manufactures to expand sales and growth. For at least one online store, the system and method of the present invention preferably attract more sellers that lead to more sales. For at least one logistics provider the system and method of the present invention preferably reduce the cost and time for at least one article of manufacture handling, picking, packing and dispatching. For at least one online buyer who purchase from at least one online store, the system and method of the present invention preferably provides more choice of at least one buyer and at least one article of manufacture to choose from.

Moreover, in the present invention the at least one provider willing to market his/her at least one article of manufacture is enabled to create his/her profile on computationally implemented method. Then at least one provider is directed to create a login ID and pass code to enter into the computationally implemented method and access its various features. Herein, the at least one provider willing making use of the computationally implemented method has to enter some of his personal information to get a secured login Id and pass code. The pass code enabling access of at least one provider on the computationally implemented method is either manual or biometric input wherein, the manual input includes at least one of alphabets, alphanumeric, numbers, special symbols or the combination thereof and the biometric input includes at least one of thumb impression, retina scan, or the combination thereof. Once, the process of making profile and generating a login Id and pass code by at least one provider is completed then at least one provider is enabled to enlist at least one characteristic of at least one article of manufacture on the computationally implemented method and further the computationally implemented method automatically update at least one characteristic of at least one article of manufacture on to at least one online store which is been registered with the computationally implemented method. The process of delivering at least one article of manufacture available with the computationally implemented method is done by at least one logistic services provider, wherein the process of selection of at least one logistic service provider is done at least one provider or by at least one online store according to his/her need and comfort wherein, once the delivery is been done by at least one logistics service provider. The computationally implemented method then enable providing at least one of order confirmation, dispatch status, delivery tracking information or the combination thereof to at least one provider and to at least one online store.

Also, the computationally implemented method enabling sales for the at least one article of manufacture is also provided with an ERP software that is enterprises resource planning. This enables managing and interpreting data for many business activities, including product planning, purchase, manufacturing or service delivery, marketing and sales, inventory management, shipping and payment. Herein, at least one provider need not to enlist his/her at least one article of manufacture characteristic in the computationally implemented method, wherein by the use of this ERP software at least one provider is enabled to enlist various characteristics of at least one article of manufacture without any manual approach.

Therefore, this computationally implemented method is designed covering all aspects relating to the sale of the at least one article of manufacture at minimal cost also enable the small providers to cover the large online buyer market to gain more benefit by providing them a common platform for sales.
