The following specification particularly describes the invention and the manner in which it is to be performed
BACKGROUND
Field of Invention
[001] Embodiments of the present invention generally relate to a system and method for an online product delivery, and more particularly to a system and method for online delivery of food and/or farming products.
Description of Related Art
[002] Online shopping is a form of shopping where a buyer purchases goods, groceries, clothes, services, etc. over a communication network such as the Internet, through a web browser. Online shopping is also known as e-commerce, where a buyer/customer can shop for required goods from a seller over the communication network. The online shopping can be a business to business (B2B) process where a business buys goods from another business, or business to customer (B2C) process where a customer can buy the goods directly from a particular business. Since online shopping came into existence, it has eased the job of the buyer as the online shopping allows to compare a price, a customer service review, and dozens of stores and products before finalizing a deal. Apart from all the benefits, the online shopping has faced a lot of criticism in the past decade for example, the online shopping has killed an ability of a buyer to physically inspect or try items that are considered for purchase, or resulted in a delivery of fake products, adulterated, and impure items to the customer to earn an extra margin over a selling price.
[003] Conventional shopping platforms provided to deliver farming goods and articles have made farmers buy fake seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, and other essential items for their fields. Similarly, the conventional platforms created a wall between the buyer and the seller, forcing the buyer to buy impure, adulterated groceries such as vegetables, fruits, spices, pulses, nuts, food grains, beverages, etc.
[004] There is thus a need for a system and a method for a transparent online product delivery and services between consumers and sellers.
