Abstract: The invention is the system and method for optimize freight movements by using big data technology. The web application is created. With the help of big data technology, user can get alert for optimise routes take, using public data such as road conditions, traffic jams, weather conditions, delivery addresses, the location of fuel station. Application automatically calculates and optimises the ideal and cheapest new routing to the new destination.

a. Any electronic device having internet connection;
b. Any open-source framework like Hadoop for data analysis which stored data on big data; and
c. A web application for optimize freight movements
2) The system claimed in claim 1 wherein, system would alert the freight driver any traffic jam or any closed road on the preferred route.
3) The system claimed in claim1 wherein, system would track freight vehicles in real-time with the help of navigation and sensors.

, Description:FIELD OF INVENTION
The present invention discloses the system and method for optimize freight movements by using big data technology. The invention is related to transport sector, which are now well developed due to upcoming technologies. Big data is one of the best technologies which can used for transport industry.
BACKGROUND OF INVENTION
Freight, cargo, shipment refer to goods being transported from place to place. Freight is the general term for goods transported from one place to another by any means to send freight from one city to other one. Cargo is the term generally used for goods carried by ship or plane to send a cargo to another country.
Freight transport is the physical process of transporting commodities and merchandise goods and cargo. The term shipping originally referred to transport by sea but in American English, it has been extended to refer to transport by land or air.
Transportation optimization is the process of determining the most efficient means of moving product to the customer while maintain a desired service level, given a static supply chain network. The customer can be an internal component of the company or the traditional, external consumer.
Currently, there is no such a system, that can tell freight driver which route to follow for minimum time and minimum distance to achieve less time for delivery of goods.
The present invention solves the above issues. The system, by collecting the online social network data and information created by users, system suggest the best freight movements to avoid any traffic jam and close road. Those big data technologies give us a new thought of developing the system and method for optimization of freight movements.
Big Data Technology can be defined as a Software-Utility that is designed to Analyse, Process and Extract the information from an extremely complex and large data sets which the Traditional Data Processing Software could never deal with.
OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION
The main object of the invention is that, the system and method for optimize freight movements by using big data technology.
Another object of the invention is that, the system should alerts the freight driver any traffic jam on the preferred route.
Another object of the invention is that, the system should give alert to the freight driver for any closed road on the route.
Another object of the invention is that, the system should track freight vehicles in real-time with the help of navigation and sensors.
Another object of the invention is that, system should optimise the routing trucks, planes or vessels need to take using public data such as road conditions, traffic jams, weather conditions, delivery addresses, the location of gas station.
Other object of the invention is that, system automatically calculates and optimises the ideal and cheapest new routing to the new destination.

With the help of big data technology, user can get alert for optimise routes take, using public data such as road conditions, traffic jams, weather conditions, delivery addresses, the location of fuel station. Application automatically calculates and optimises the ideal and cheapest new routing to the new destination.

Big data is the vast volume of structured or unstructured data that is readily available at our collective fingertips. These large data sets are analysed to reveal previously unknown patterns and provide insights into businesses, human behaviour, and more. Big data analysis is used for everything from financial services, to gauging someone’s productivity, to even monitoring the weather and also detecting the traffic jam on particular road.
Big data collect data from various sources like road traffic, road conditions, weather conditions, temperature, route, delivery addresses etc and provide a proper estimate for the time taken to reach the destination. Thus, data analysis helps to ensure that don’t waste resources in transporting.
The key feature of big data is to analyse, understand and interpret it in order to give user a full a picture as possible about an optimized freight movement.

Step 1) Web application for optimize freight movements is created and data for that web application is provided by big data
Step 2) Freight driver check in website for optimize freight movements
Step 3) Freight driver get alert for new destination address and optimize route
Step 4) Freight driver follow the new optimize route suggested by application
Here, the role of big data technology is as of;
Big data is the analytical approach to accumulating and interpreting all of the data sets for trends and revelations and can be helpful in predicting a optimize freight movements to reach to new destination by considering traffic jam and road close and other factors which affects waste of time.
Use of big data is looking promising in the transport industry and it can become a standard in the future.
Big data have some advantages for the invented system, such as;
Using satellite navigation and sensors, trucks, aeroplanes or ships can be tracked in real-time. System would optimize the routing trucks, planes or vessels need to take using public data such as road conditions, traffic jams, weather conditions, delivery addresses, the location of gas stations (in the cases of trucks).
Another benefit of the system is whenever a change in address comes in from the head office, the driver or captain can receive it in real-time. The system automatically calculates and optimises the ideal and cheapest new routing to the new destination.
Another advantage of system is that, sensors in trucks, ships or aeroplanes can also give real-time information about how the truck, ship or plane is performing, how fast it is going, how long it is on the go, how long it is standing still etc. With all this data combined with sensors that monitor the health of the engine and equipment, system can predict errors and maintenance without loosing too much time. It is even possible to automatically book maintenance at the location that requires the least downtime for the transportation company, while the engineer instantly knows what the problem is and how it can be solved.
Other advantage of the system is that, large logistic organisations can have hundreds or thousands of trucks. If their usage is not optimised, a company can lose a lot of money. With sensor data, it becomes known where all trucks are at any moment in time, what their inventory is as well as their destination. This information can help the transportation company to optimize its fleet and increases efficiency.
