b. Any open-source framework like Hadoop for data analysis which stored data on big data;

d. Sensors- senses whether machine operating or not,
Senses whether employee is working or not; and
e. Wi-Fi modem – for connectivity between sensors and backend server.
2) The system claimed in claim 1 wherein, track the operating machine.
3) The system claimed in claim 1 wherein, track working hours of employee.
4) The system claimed in claim1 wherein, track supplier production.
5) The system claimed in claim 4 wherein, calculate the overhead cost of manufacturing company.
, Description:FIELD OF INVENTION
The present invention discloses the system and method for overhead tracking in manufacturing by using big data technology. The invention is related to manufacturing sector, which are now well developed due to upcoming technologies. Big data is one of the best technologies which can be effectively used for manufacturing.
BACKGROUND OF INVENTION
Manufacturing overhead also known as factory overhead, factory burden, and manufacturing support cost is an important costs category that tends to get overlooked, especially in the cases of overworked or new operations.
Manufacturing overhead refers to the most obvious costs, such as the amount of cash it takes to keep the factory's lights on – but it also includes more 'under-the-radar' expenses, such as equipment depreciation and maintenance.
Allocating manufacturing overhead directly impacts your small business's balance sheet and income statement. You have those expenses no matter what, and your accounting system requires you to keep track of them. Allocating overhead can also help you look for ways to cut your costs.
Overhead refers to the ongoing business expenses not directly attributed to creating a product or service. It is important for budgeting purposes but also for determining how much a company must charge for its products or services to make a profit.
Currently overhead tracking in manufacturing is a big deal, as all data from various sources are managed well to calculate the overhead cost of company.

The present invention discloses the system and method for overhead tracking in manufacturing by using big data technology. Overhead tracking in manufacturing application is installed at backend server. Maintenance team member start the application. With the help of big data technology and invention application, the maintenance team member gets information related to tracking supplier related data, tracking manufacturing machines and tracking every labour. Maintenance team member can get information about overhead costs in manufacturing.

The present invention discloses the system and method for overhead tracking in manufacturing by using big data technology.
Big data is the vast volume of structured or unstructured data that is readily available at our collective fingertips. These large data sets are analysed to reveal previously unknown patterns and provide insights into businesses, human behaviour, and more. Big data analysis is used for everything from financial services, to gauging someone’s productivity, to even monitoring the weather.
The key feature of big data is to analyse, understand and interpret it in order to give user a full a picture as possible about the daily production.
The system and method for overhead tracking in manufacturing by using big data technology is comprising of the contents such as;
Backend server – Overhead tracking in manufacturing application is installed
Any open-source framework like Hadoop for data analysis which stored data on big data.
An application for overhead tracking in manufacturing
Sensors – sense whether and when machine is operating,
Sense whether worker is working or not,
Wi-fi modem – for connectivity between sensors and backend server
Big data consists of five stages such as-
Data sources- web and social media, machines, Sensing, IoT
Content format – structured, semi-structured, unstructured data
Data stores – document oriented, column oriented, graph database, key value
Data Staging – cleaning, transform and normalization
Data processing – Batch and real time
The system and method of overhead tracking in manufacturing by using big data technology is comprising of the following steps such as;
Step 1) An application for overhead tracking in manufacturing is installed on backend server
Step 2) Data for the invention application is provided by big data
Step 3) User/maintenance team member start the application
Step 4) User/maintenance team member select any time period
Step 5) User/maintenance team member get all information related to supplier, machines and labours
Step 6) User/maintenance team member get overhead cost of manufacturing for selected time period
For an organization to operate efficiently, they need to monitor their everyday activities and monitor how useful are their production capabilities and how their day-to-day business is performing financially. Also, the all information about their supplier make them release whether it is smooth flow or not. These things affect the costing of overhead in manufacturing.
Here, the role of big data technology is as of;
Big data analytics can assist manufacturing companies in doing so by providing production team member intuitive insights from the information that is being collected from various sources. These sources can be their operational machines, databases keeping a log of the supplier production, and employee records. This information can help companies in calculating overhead costs which directly determine the profitability of manufacturer.
The sensors are used to sense whether and machine is working or not, which worker is working or not. Data from the production line, is saved in database which will give opportunities for optimization, cost-saving and prevention, as long as the right tools are available for data analysis.
Use of big data is looking promising in the manufacturing field and it can become a standard in the future.
Big data have some advantages for the invented system, such as;
Machine can be tracked – As sensor sense whether and when machine is working. It is very easy to track the machine condition.
Employee tracking – Employee data can be tracked in real-time by allowing data exchange between employee badges and production line units.
Tracking of supplier production – As the information about number of units produced by supplier is stored, tracking of supplier production can be done easily.
Cost-saving – Due to tracking supplier production, machine tracking and employee tracking overhead cost can be calculated easily. And it also helps maintenance team to control the overhead-cost in manufacturing.
