a. registering oneself with the host database by user;
b. logging in to the patent retrieval database;
c. preparing search strategy based on keywords;
d. putting search strategy in the search terms;
e. extracting data from the search results;
f. filtering the search results and
g. obtaining relevant search results.
2. The system for patent information retrieval comprising of;
a. a communication device such as computer/laptop/desktop;
b. user interface such as internet/A LAN or WAN network ; and
c. a host website where the registration of user is carried out.
3. The system as claimed in claim 2, wherein the said bibliographic information used in the search expression is the applicant name, patent classification, publication number, publication date, application number, filing date, and publication type.
, Description:FIELD OF THE INVENTION:
The present invention relates to patent information retrieval system and patent information retrieval method thereof. The present invention more particularly relates to patent information retrieval system and method for searching database which the predetermined information is stored.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION:
A patent search is a critical step to take before filing a patent application. The main benefits of filing patent application are as to set the patentability of your invention and improve the chances of patent success by working around existing inventions. The search key is different in different databases. The contents of information obtained in different databases is different.
Foreigners who carried out the search must be translated into a language that can be understood. Thus, bibliographic information of the patent to clarify the search target is also important information to narrow down the search. However, the bibliographic information has adopted its own description method for each patent issuing country, this is it is assumed difficult access to the patent database to foreigners. So there is a need for a database from which patents can be retrieved easily and to provide a patent information retrieval system that is available for the foreigners easily.
With the growth in the field of information and communication technology, patent searching has changed dramatically from manual catalogue base access to online access. As worldwide patent collection is growing rapidly, retrieval and analysis of this enormous knowledge source have become complex, exhaustive, highly interactive and repetitive task, requiring lots of expertise with diverse search strategies.
The present invention is a patent information retrieval system and method for searching database in which the predetermined information is stored.
OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION:
The main object of the present invention is to search patent information retrieval system and method for searching database.
Yet another object of the present invention is to find all the prior arts relevant to a given patent application.

The present invention is a system and method for patent search is disclosed. The present invention is helpful in searching patent information retrieval system and method for searching database and to find all the prior arts relevant to a given patent application.
The present invention helps in reducing the time spent on searching and allows me to spend more time on analysis. In this system, a user register himself with the host database and carry out a full patent search. The user has to put some keywords in the search bar and some results are obtained. On selecting a particular patent, user can see the abstract, and detailed description of the invention to go in details of the invention.
The search system receives a query from user and the search system proxies the query to search different data sources and receives search results and extracts data from the search results and the results are further filtered in order to get the relevant search results.

Using the patent information retrieval system, user can translate the document as per the preference of user. If user wants to get patent information related to a particular company, user can put company name in the search string of applicant and user will retrieve the search results as per his preferences.
