Abstract: The invention discloses the system and method for predictive maintenance in manufacturing by using big data technology. The invention application is installed at backend server. Sensors are attached to every machine; it checks whether machine is working properly or not. As User/maintenance team member start the application, he/she will get alert for maintenance of particular machine for the sake of precaution.

a. Backend server – predictive maintenance in manufacturing application is installed;
b. Any open-source framework like Hadoop for data analysis which stored data on big data;
c. An application for predictive maintenance in manufacturing;
d. Sensors- senses whether machine operating or not; and
e. Wi-Fi modem – for connectivity between sensors and backend server.
2) The system claimed in claim 1 wherein, improve production quality.
3) The system claimed in claim 1 wherein, machine can be tracked.
, Description:FIELD OF INVENTION
The present invention discloses the system and method for predictive maintenance in manufacturing by using big data technology. The invention is related to manufacturing sector, which are now well developed due to upcoming technologies. Big data is one of the best technologies which can be effectively used for manufacturing.
BACKGROUND OF INVENTION
Maintenance is the function whose objective is to ensure the fullest availability of production equipment, utilities and related facilities at optimal cost and under satisfactory conditions of quality, safety and protection of the environment. ... The principle of preventive maintenance is anticipation.
The technical meaning of Industrial Maintenance is the practice of keeping the equipment and machines in proper functioning condition to produce quality products. Industrial Maintenance includes two following actions: Control or prevent the deterioration process leading to failure of a machine or equipment.
Machinery maintenance is the means by which mechanical assets in a facility are kept in working order. Machinery maintenance involves regular servicing of equipment, routine checks, repair work, and replacement of worn or non-functional parts.
To avoid any breakdown of machines, maintenance process come in picture.
Currently there is no such system who gives alert for maintenance.
The present invention gives the solution to above problem.
The present invention discloses the system and method for predictive maintenance in manufacturing by using big data technology. A natural extension of big data in maintenance is a predictive maintenance. By using machine data along with other area data, the operation can truly understand the health and performance of its machines. This is done by installing sensors and utilizing the data to model the equipment performance.
Big Data Technology can be defined as a Software-Utility that is designed to Analyse, Process and Extract the information from an extremely complex and large data sets which the Traditional Data Processing Software could never deal with.
OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION
The main object of the invention is that, the system and method for predictive maintenance in manufacturing by using big data technology.
Another object of the invention is that, sensors are installed on machine to check its operability.
Another object of the invention is that, tracking of manufacturing machine performance.
Other object of the invention is that, it has all record and information about each and every manufacturing machine.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
The present invention discloses the system and method for predictive maintenance in manufacturing by using big data technology. An application Predictive maintenance in manufacturing is installed at backend server. Number of sensors are installed at every machine. The sensors are connected to backend server with the help of Wi-Fi modem. Maintenance team member start the application. With the help of big data technology and invention application, the maintenance team member gets information related to machine such as, whether machine is working or ideal, how is the machine performance and other machine related data. The invention application shows alert message about which machine need maintenance for the sake of precaution.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The present invention discloses the system and method for predictive maintenance in manufacturing by using big data technology.
Big data is the vast volume of structured or unstructured data that is readily available at our collective fingertips. These large data sets are analysed to reveal previously unknown patterns and provide insights into businesses, human behaviour, and more. Big data analysis is used for everything from financial services, to gauging someone’s productivity, to even monitoring the weather.
The key feature of big data is to analyse, understand and interpret it in order to give user a full a picture as possible about the predictive maintenance.
The system and method for predictive maintenance in manufacturing by using big data technology is comprising of the contents such as;
Backend server – Predictive maintenance in manufacturing application is installed
Any open-source framework like Hadoop for data analysis which stored data on big data.
An application for predictive maintenance in manufacturing
Sensors – sense whether and when machine is operating
Wi-fi modem – for connectivity between sensors and backend server
Big data consists of five stages such as-
Data sources- web and social media, machines, Sensing, IoT
Content format – structured, semi-structured, unstructured data
Data stores – document oriented, column oriented, graph database, key value
Data Staging – cleaning, transform and normalization
Data processing – Batch and real time
The system and method of predictive maintenance in manufacturing by using big data technology is comprising of the following steps such as;
Step 1) An application for predictive maintenance in manufacturing is installed on backend server
Step 2) Data for the invention application is provided by big data
Step 3) Sensors are attached to every manufacturing machine
Step 4) User/maintenance team member start the application
Step 5) User/maintenance team member get alert of maintenance of particular machines for the sake of precaution
For an organization to operate efficiently, the machines should be work properly without any breakdown or error. Maintenance team has to monitor each and every machine for proper working. The invention helps the maintenance team by sending alert to backend server for maintenance of particular machine.
Here, the role of big data technology is as of;
Big data analytics can assist manufacturing companies in doing so by providing maintenance team member information related to every machine such as, whether machine is working or ideal, how is the machine performance and other machine related data. This information is provided by sensors attached to every machine. The invention application show alert to maintenance team for maintenance needed for particular machine. So, this is the predictive maintenance of manufacturing machines, which predicates time of maintenance with the help of data provided by big data technology.
Use of big data is looking promising in the manufacturing field and it can become a standard in the future.
Big data have some advantages for the invented system, such as;
Lower maintenance cost – Predictive maintenance allows manufacturers to lower maintenance costs.
Extend machine life – Due to predictive maintenance, machine repairing is done before time, so it helps in extending machine life.
Reduce downtime – As predictive maintenance sends alert message before machine break down or any error, it reduces or possibly no downtime at all.
Improve production quality – Predictive maintenance send alert for maintenance before machine breakdown or error, machine never get breakdown or work inappropriate. So, it increases the production quality of machine.
Machine can be tracked – As sensor sense whether and when machine is working. It is very easy to track the machine condition.
