Abstract: The present subject matter relates to a system 100 for processing of a printed roll. The system 100 comprises a loading unit 102 to load the printed roll 202, an arrangement 308a to receive the printed roll 202 from the loading unit 102 and to transfer the printed roll 202 to a pair of pipes 400a, 402a. The system 100 further weighs the printed roll 202. Further, a packaging machine 500 receives the printed roll 202 to performs packaging of the printed roll 202.

Specification

Claims:1. A system (100) for processing of a printed roll (202), the system (100) comprising:
a loading unit (102) to load the printed roll (202);
an arrangement (308a) to receive the printed roll (202) from the loading unit (102) and to transfer the printed roll (202) to a pair of pipes (400a, 402a);
a conveying plate (402b) to receive the printed roll (202) from the pair of pipes (400a, 402a) and to pass the printed roll (202) to a weighing machine (400b) for weighing of the printed roll (202); and
a packaging machine (500) to receive the weighed printed roll (202) from the weighing machine (400b) via the conveying plate (402b) and to place the weighed printed roll (202) on a pair of pipes (502, 504), wherein the packaging machine (500) performs packaging of the weighed printed roll (202) while rotating the pair of pipes (502, 504).
2. The system (100) as claimed in claim 1, further comprising:
a push mechanism to push the packaged printed roll (202) from the packaging machine (500) to a dispensing unit (800); and
a collector plate to collect the printed roll (202) from the dispensing unit (800).
3. The system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the conveying plate (402b) is positioned beneath the pair of pipes (400a, 402a) for inline movement of the printed roll (202) within the system (100).
4. The system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the conveying plate (402b) is to move vertically and horizontally.
5. The system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the arrangement (308a) is a mechanical arrangement of a rack and pinion mechanism.
6. The system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the arrangement (308a) comprising a laser scanner having an integrated absolute encoder to calculate actual diameter of the printed roll (202).
7. The system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the arrangement (308a) comprising:
a horizontal shaft (300a) to move vertically and horizontally; and
a movable plate (302a) positioned on the horizontal shaft (300a),
wherein the movable plate (302a) is to receive and hold the loaded printed roll (202) and transfer the loaded printed roll (202) on the pair of pipes (400a, 402a); and
wherein the movable plate (302a) has a pneumatic sliding unit to receive the printed roll (202) from the loading unit (102).
8. The system (100) as claimed in claim 7, wherein the movable plate (302a) is a V-shaped curve plate.
9. The system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the pair of pipes (502, 504) is a pair of rolling pipes.
10. The system (100) as claimed in claim 9, wherein the pair of rolling pipes roll in the same direction.
11. The system (100) as claimed in the claim 6, wherein, during the packaging, the pair of rolling pipes rotates the printed roll (202).
12. The system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the weighing machine (400b) is a digital weighing machine.
13. The system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the weighing machine (400b) generates a ticket having weighing information of the printed roll (202), which is pasted on the printed roll (202).
14. The system (100) as claimed in claim 2, wherein the collector plate is moving downward and upward.
15. The system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the packaging machine (500) comprises an automatic packaging device.
16. The system (100) as claimed in claim 15,
wherein the automatic packaging device (500) comprises two units;
wherein the first unit includes a pair of rollers (604, 606) and a packaging material roll (608), and the second unit includes a cutting unit (506),
wherein the first unit revolves around the printed roll (202) to automatically pack the printed roll (202) with a packaging material, and the second unit cuts the packaging material after the packaging.
17. The system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the processing includes loading, weighing, and packaging.
18. The system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the packaging includes wrapping.
19. A method (900) for processing of a printed roll (202), the method (900) comprising:
loading the printed roll (202) on a loading unit (102);
receiving, by an arrangement (308a), the printed roll (202) from the loading unit (102);
transferring, by the arrangement (308a), the printed roll (202) to a pair of pipes (400a, 402a);
receiving, by a conveying plate (402b), the transferred printed roll (202) from the pair of pipes (400a, 402a);
passing, by the conveying plate (402b), the received printed roll (202) to a weighing machine (400b) for weighing of the printed roll (202); and
receiving, by a packaging machine (500), the weighed printed roll (202) from the weighing machine (400b) via the conveying plate (402b);
placing, by the conveying plate (402b), the weighed printed roll (202) on a pair of pipes (502, 504), and
packaging, by the packaging machine (500), the weighed printed roll (202) while rotating the pair of pipes (502, 504).
20. The method (900) as claimed in claim 19, further comprising:
pushing, by a push mechanism, the packaged printed roll (202) from the packaging machine (500) to a dispensing unit (800); and
collecting, by a collector plate, the printed roll (202) from the dispensing unit (800).
21. The method (900) as claimed in claim 19, wherein the processing includes loading, weighing, and packaging.
