A user interface for receiving recommendations;
An internal database of the website storing consumer information;
A computer/laptop of individual.
2. A method for recommending articles, documents and videos comprising the steps of;
Identifying the bookmarks stored in connection with the user;
Reviewing the selected user’s bookmarked content;
Generating recommendations for selected consumers;
Sending the recommendations to the consumer based on bookmarked content of the user;
Monitoring the consumer behavior depending on the sent recommendations; and
Analyzing the consumer behavior based on the data.
Wherein the selected consumers are chosen on the basis of the bookmarked content by consumer and recommendations are sent by the website database.
3. The system as claimed in claim 1, wherein the said user is notified of recommendations based on his interests through emails, messages.
4. The system as claimed in claim 1, wherein the said bookmarks created by the user are based on the frequency of visits of user to internet webpages and by evaluating the profile for showing most popular websites for the user.
5. The system as claimed in claim 1, wherein the said recommendations are sent to the user based on profile evaluation and further identification of popular websites to the user based on the recommendations.
6. The system as claimed in claim 1, wherein the internal database of the website is created and managed by displaying bookmarks to users.
7. The bookmarks as claimed in claim 6, are created by capturing an image of a webpage followed by extracting identifier information and displaying it to user.
8. The bookmarks as claimed in claim 6 are created on the basis of the frequency of visits of user to internet webpages.
, Description:FIELD OF THE INVENTION:
The present invention relates to bookmarking the content through internet. The present invention more particularly relates to a system and method for recommending articles, documents and videos based on bookmarked content within the website database.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION:
Many people use internet and are dependent on internet for any news, stock information, research hobbies, educational information, and matrimonial information and so on. As internet provides a lot of information on any subject, but it is difficult for a user to remember the webpages in which the important content related to his/her topic, he/she wants to store or save which may be needed for them.
As internet information is constantly updated, changed and it is really difficult to store information. So users can store the information in the form of screenshots also. Screenshots do not necessarily store any searchable text and therefore are not easily searchable. Capturing information through a screenshot does not necessarily allow a user to copy/paste text from it either. Also, the saving of screenshots is not effectively integrated in the browser and thus requires the user to manually manage creating an image file from the screenshot, naming it, and saving it under categorized folders for further retrieval. Therefore the usefulness and effectiveness of screenshots as a tool to capture, preserve, share, and manage internet-based information and content is to limited extent.
One of the option on webpage is “save” can be used to save a webpage. Every single picture of the webpage and original links related to them can be retained. In some webpages “save” option is not operated easily and cannot be saved. Any changes the user would do to sort and organize these downloaded files/folders may potentially break the link structures of saved pages potentially “losing” important information.
Another option of saving the webpage quickly is through “printing”. Printing captures information from the page to be printed, which allows user to mark up information and easy accessibility of the print even though no use of webpage. Printing also wastes ink and paper. Some webpages are not print friendly. So it is not possible to always keep hard copy of the information
So there is need for bookmarking the content so that bookmarks of webpages are stored, searched and managed and links can be saved in order to share them through social bookmarking sites. Bookmarks are a common but ineffective way to capture information online. A bookmark is a pointer acting as a reference or navigation element to a document or to a section of or location within a document that automatically brings the referred information to the user when the navigation element is selected. The present invention is a system and method for recommending articles, documents and videos based on bookmarked content within the website database.
OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION:
The main object of the invention is to provide a system and method for recommending articles, documents and videos based on bookmarked content within the website.
Yet another object of the present invention is to improve user’s ability to manage information from articles, documents and videos they have gathered by allowing users to access, search, and share and rate this information.
Other objects and benefits of the present invention will be more apparent from the following description, which is not intended to bind the scope of the present invention.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION:
Accordingly, a system and method for recommending articles, documents and videos based on the bookmarked content is disclosed. A method for recommending articles, documents and videos comprising the steps of; identifying the bookmarks stored in connection with the user; reviewing the selected user’s bookmarked content; generating recommendations for selected consumers; sending the recommendations to the consumer based on bookmarked content of the user followed by monitoring the consumer behavior depending on the sent recommendations; and analyzing the consumer behavior based on the data; wherein the consumers are chosen on the basis of the bookmarked content of the consumer and recommendations are sent by the website database.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS:
The present invention is a system and method for recommending articles, documents and videos based on bookmarked content. When a user bookmarks any webpage or any article, then the web browser saves the bookmark history of the user and recommends the articles, videos, documents which are available online to the user.
A bookmark is created by retrieving address of the document like webpage, extracting the information from the document and saving the address with the identifier which is obtained in part from the body of the document and includes title associated with the address. Identifier information includes URL of the webpage, text within the webpage. Non-text material can be scanned to extract the text information. The identifier information may further include the parent website, date and time stamp information, search keywords used to locate the Internet webpage, user entered text and user entered preference ratings for the Internet webpage. The identifier information may further include animations or video within an Internet webpage, wherein the animations or video are recorded using a video recording tool.
In one embodiment, user visits the website. Depending upon visits of the user to the webpages, the website database stores those webpages in their database. It has memory to identify particular subject related to the webpage visited by the user many times. Website database stores the webpages and depending upon the saved webpages, sends some recommendations about videos the user visited, the document visited, the articles visited. The website database sends recommendations to user based on the stored webpages related to videos, documents and articles. User receives the recommendations through email, messages and through advertisements. User may stop the recommendations received to him/her based on his /her interest.
The bookmark is saved within a web browser application. The bookmark is saved onto a separate bookmark application within the user computer, and can be accessed offline. The bookmark can be imported from an offline source to an online source, such as a web browser application or remote server. The bookmark is saved on a remote server and accessed by any user with access to the remote server. A database can be created by copying bookmarks on to a remote server, an offline application on a user's computer or a Web browser application to a database.

Wherein the consumers are chosen on the basis of the bookmarked content of the consumer and recommendations are sent by the website database.
A user is notified of recommendations based on his interests through emails, messages. The user profile is created which comprises identifier information of the user based on the interested topics and bookmarks created by the user, bookmarks are created based on the frequency of visits of user to internet webpages, evaluating the profile for showing most popular websites for the user and sending user the recommendations based on the popular websites for the user.
A database for bookmarks can be created and managed from within a Web browser application by displaying a bookmark toolbar for actions related to bookmarks within a Web browser application, capturing an image of a webpage using said toolbar, extracting identifier information from the webpage, displaying identifier information and the image to user.
A database for the preferred bookmarks of the user can be created and managed within web browser. User can make changes in user identifier information, displaying identifier information to the user, saving the user identifier information according to the category based on the user’s interest. If the bookmark of the user is already saved, then at that time a new bookmark is not generated. The bookmarks can be created by user or by the website database on the basis of the frequency of visits of user to internet webpages.
