Big data analytics analyses real time data related to future student outcomes. with the help of big data, analysis is done for a course program before it is introduced into the curriculum and minimize the need for trial-and error. Institutions can get idea what is the reason for future dropout of student and it can take preventive actions to reduce the student dropout.

, Description:FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention discloses the system and method for reducing student dropout by using big data technology. The invention is related to education sector, which are now well developed due to upcoming technologies. Big data is one of the best technologies which can be effectively used for reducing student dropout.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Student dropouts means a student who withdraws before completing a course of instruction. Student dropouts means a student who withdraws from high school after having reached the legal age to do so. A person who withdraws from established society, especially to pursue an alternate lifestyle.
There are so many reasons for student dropouts, such as;
Money. Some high school students and college students drop out because they want to work to earn money. Most high school and college students don’t have the time and energy to go to school all day, complete homework assignments and still work enough hours to support lofty expenses.
Currently, there is no such system which guess or predict the future student dropouts.
The present invention gives the help or method for prediction and reduction in student dropout.
The present invention discloses the system and method for reducing student dropout by using big data technology. With the help of invention application, educational institutions can use predictive analytics on all the data that is collected to give them insights on future student outcomes. Such predictions can also help run scenario analysis on a course program before it is introduced into the curriculum; minimizing the need for trial-and-error. In fact, big data can also be used to monitor how students are performing in the job market after graduating from college. This would also help the future students in choosing the right college and course. Institutions can get idea what is the reason for future dropout of student and it can take preventive actions to reduce the student dropouts.
OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
The main object of the invention is, system and method for reducing student dropouts by using big data technology.
Another object of the invention is, big data analytics analyses real time data related to future student outcomes.
Another object of the invention is, with the help of big data, analysis is done for a course program before it is introduced into the curriculum and minimize the need for trial-and error.
Other object of the invention is, used to monitor how students are performing in the job market after graduating from college.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

Big data analytics analyses real time data related to future student outcomes. with the help of big data, analysis is done for a course program before it is introduced into the curriculum and minimize the need for trial-and error. Institutions can get idea what is the reason for future dropout of student and it can take preventive actions to reduce the student dropout.

The present invention discloses the system and method for reducing student dropout by using big data technology.
Big data is the vast volume of structured or unstructured data that is readily available at our collective fingertips. These large data sets are analysed to reveal previously unknown patterns and provide insights into businesses, human behaviour, and more. Big data analysis is used for everything from financial services, to gauging someone’s productivity, to even monitoring the weather.
The key feature of big data is to analyse, understand and interpret it in order to give user a full a picture as possible about the future student dropout.
The system and method for reducing student dropout by using big data technology is comprising of the contents such as;
Any computing device with high definition
The web application of reducing student dropout
Any open-source framework like Hadoop for data analysis which stored data on big data
Big data consists of five stages such as-
Data sources- web and social media, machines, Sensing, IoT
Content format – structured, semi-structured, unstructured data
Data stores – document oriented, column oriented, graph database, key value
Data Staging – cleaning, transform and normalization
Data processing – Batch and real time
The system and method for reducing student dropout by using big data technology is comprising of the steps are as;
Step 1) The web application of reducing student dropout is created
Step 2) Institution member open the invention application
Step 3) Institution member select particular course from the list of all courses
Step 4) Institution member can see information provided by big data related to selected course
Step 5) Invention system helps to institution member in tracking the information about course and student would be reaction or understanding level of course
Step 6) Institution member could take preventive actions to reduce the student dropouts
Role of Big data in invention application is as:
Big data analytics analyses real time data related to future student outcomes. with the help of big data, analysis is done for a course program before it is introduced into the curriculum and minimize the need for trial-and error. Institutions can get idea what is the reason for future dropout of student and it can take preventive actions to reduce the student dropouts.
With the vast majority of college dropouts, they often finding it very hard to make a good living. If in their college life their academic activities had been closely monitored, given instant feedback and tutored based on their individual skills then they might have been positioned to succeed. This is the realm of big data analytics.
The invention application has advantage, such as;
The most common use of predictive analytics is in the area of academic success, which typically involves using course enrolment patterns and grades, as well as other demographic information to predict a student’s risk score. As a result, institutions are able to focus efforts in a much better-informed manner.
