Abstract: The invention discloses the system and method for route planning by using big data technology. The web application for route planning is created. User check in website. And has to enter the destination address. Then search for best shortest route for entered destination address. The user chooses shortest route. With help of big data user choose best shortest route without any obstacles for reaching to destination.
Claims:We claim:
1) The system and method for route planning by using big data technology is comprising of the contents such as;
a. Any electronic device having internet connection;
b. Any open-source framework like Hadoop for data analysis which stored data on big data; and
c. A web application for route planning
2) The system claimed in claim 1 wherein, suggest best route to destination.
3) The system claimed in claim1 wherein, is more efficient due to big data technology.
4) The system claimed in claim 1 wherein, reduces average time needed to reach to destination.
, Description:FIELD OF INVENTION
The present invention discloses the system and method for route planning by using big data technology. The invention is related to transport sector, which are now well developed due to upcoming technologies. Big data is one of the best technologies which can used for transport industry.
BACKGROUND OF INVENTION
Route planning is used to decide the route to take from one place to another. The output of the route-planning algorithm is the route to take, which enlists all the roads and intersections to take to reach the destination from the source.
Route planning is an important part of Supply Chain Management related to both procurement and distribution. Route planning systems specify the sequences in which the selected transport vehicles should supply the demand points by requested quantities of goods at the right time.
All in all, route planners cut transportation costs, providing you with a more flexible budget, help you get to your customers more efficiently and on time, and increase the number of destinations you can reach in a day, effectively saving your business time and money on the road.
Currently, there is no such a system, that can tell delivery person which route to follow for minimum time and minimum distance to achieve less time for delivery of goods.
The present invention solves the above issues. The system, by collecting the online social network data and information created by users, system suggest the best possible route to avoid any traffic jam and close road. Those big data technologies give us a new thought of developing the system and method for fast delivery of items.
Big Data Technology can be defined as a Software-Utility that is designed to Analyse, Process and Extract the information from an extremely complex and large data sets which the Traditional Data Processing Software could never deal with.
OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION
The main object of the invention is that, the system and method for route planning by using big data technology.
Another object of the invention is that, the system suggests the user any traffic jam on the preferred route.
Another object of the invention is that, the system gives information to the user for any closed road on the route.
Other object of the invention is that, less time required for reaching to destination.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
The present invention discloses the system and method for route planning by using big data technology. Route planning application is installed at users’ smart phone. With the help of big data technology, user can search which is the best route for reaching from hotel/restaurant to the destination. When user starts the journey, he/she can see the best route which is the best possible minimum time for reaching. If any unplanned obstacle arises, system gives notification to user about that.

The present invention discloses the system and method for route planning by using big data technology.
Big data is the vast volume of structured or unstructured data that is readily available at our collective fingertips. These large data sets are analysed to reveal previously unknown patterns and provide insights into businesses, human behaviour, and more. Big data analysis is used for everything from financial services, to gauging someone’s productivity, to even monitoring the weather and also detecting the traffic jam on particular road.
Big data collect data from various sources like road traffic, weather, temperature, route etc and provide a proper estimate for the time taken to reach the destination. Thus, data analysis helps to ensure that don’t waste resources in transporting.
The key feature of big data is to analyse, understand and interpret it in order to give user a full a picture as possible about an estimated short route.
The system and method for route planning using big data technology is comprising of the contents such as;

Data sources- web and social media, machines, Sensing, IoT
Content format – structured, semi-structured, unstructured data
Data stores – document oriented, column oriented, graph database, key value
Data Staging – cleaning, transform and normalization
Data processing – Batch and real time
The system and method of route planning by using big data technology is comprising of the following steps such as;
Step 1) Web application for route planning is created and data for that web application is provided by big data
Step 2) User check in website for route planning
Step 3) User enter destination address in the application
Step 4) User searches the best shortest route which is suggested by big data
Step 5) User can choose best shortest route to reach at destination as early as possible
Here, the role of big data technology is as of;
Big data is the analytical approach to accumulating and interpreting all of the data sets for trends and revelations and can be helpful in predicting a best route for destination by considering traffic jam and road close.
Use of big data is looking promising in the transport industry and it can become a standard in the future.
Big data have some advantages for the invented system, such as;
With the help of big data, user can gain the information about any traffic jam or road close for particular road which is estimated best route for destination address. If there are problems such as traffic jam or road close then big data sent information to user.
So, user can take decision about which route should be preferred.
Take an example, suppose user want to go to place B from place A. User will start application, with the help of big data technology, user will get the shortest possible group to reach to destination. So, it reduces user’s time, money, and fuel of vehicle.
