Abstract: 7. ABSTRACT Exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure are directed towards a system for selectively generating, viewing and publishing digital and interactive menu over a networked platform, comprising: a catalogue generating module is configured to generate a catalogue of visiting places, wherein the catalogue of visiting places are provided by a plurality of digital menu boards by a digital menu appearing module; a reviews publishing module configured to publish a plurality of reviews provided by the plurality of users, whereby the plurality of users are allowed to give the plurality of reviews for a plurality of selected things in the digital menu of the visiting place; and an offers issuing module configured to issue a plurality of offers to the plurality of users, wherein the plurality of users are authorized to use the plurality offers for the selected things from the digital menu.

TECHNICAL FIELD

[001] The present disclosure relates to the field of data mining. More particularly the present disclosure relates to system and method for selectively generating, viewing and publishing digital and interactive menu over a networked platform.
BACKGROUND
[002] Merchants always prefer to provide efficient services to the customers. Also the customers always search for the merchants close to their current location. Though the conventionally available technologies allows the customers to locate nearby merchants, but do not provide other options which may be more preferable to the user in real-time, that would help the customer to choose the best merchant.

[003] In the light of afore mentioned discussion there exists a need for a system and method that would ameliorate or overcome the above mentioned limitations.

SUMMARY

[0001] The following presents a simplified summary of the disclosure in order to provide a basic understanding to the reader. This summary is not an extensive overview of the disclosure and it does not identify key/critical elements of the disclosure or delineate the scope of the disclosure. Its sole purpose is to present some concepts disclosed herein in a simplified form as a prelude to the more detailed description that is presented later.

[0002] A more complete appreciation of the present disclosure and the scope thereof can be obtained from the accompanying drawings which are briefly summarized below and the following detailed description of the presently preferred embodiments.

[004] Exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure are directed towards a system and method for selectively generating, viewing and publishing digital and interactive menu over a networked platform.

[005] Another exemplary objective of the present disclosure is directed towards providing a networked platform configured to efficiently engage merchants and customers.

[006] Another exemplary objective of the present disclosure is directed towards the provisions for the customers to have an overview of basic amenities in a restaurant.

[007] Another exemplary objective of the present disclosure is directed towards the provision for the customers to pre check their affordability before visiting the place of interest.

[008] Another exemplary objective of the present disclosure is directed towards connecting the service staff with the merchants.

[009] An exemplary aspect of the present disclosure is directed towards a catalogue generating module is configured to generate a catalogue of visiting places, wherein the catalogue of visiting places are provided by a plurality of digital menu boards by a digital menu appearing module.

[010] Another exemplary aspect of the present disclosure is directed towards a reviews publishing module configured to publish a plurality of reviews provided by the plurality of users, whereby the plurality of users are allowed to give the plurality of reviews for a plurality of selected things in the digital menu of the visiting place.

[011] Yet another exemplary aspect of the present disclosure is directed towards an offers issuing module configured to issue a plurality of offers to the plurality of users, wherein the plurality of users are authorized to use the plurality offers for the selected things from the digital menu.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

[0003] Other objects and advantages of the present disclosure will become apparent to those skilled in the art upon reading the following detailed description of the preferred embodiments.

[0004] Referring to FIG. 1A is a block diagram 100a, depicting the environment for selectively generating, viewing and publishing digital and interactive menu over a networked platform, according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure. The menu may be not limited to, a list of the prepared foods, list of the services provided by the merchant available at a chosen place to visit by the user (here customer) and the like. The users may include, but not limited to, customers, vendors, merchants, servants, service staff and the like without limiting the scope of the present disclosure. The environment depicts a system for selectively generating, viewing and publishing digital and interactive menu over a networked platform (herein after referred as system 102), a computing device 104, and a network 106. The system 102 may be accessed as a mobile application, a web application, or as other software application known in the art and/or future-developed for receiving data implemented, without limiting the scope of the present disclosure. The system 102 may be accessed as a server in the art and/or future-developed for receiving data, without limiting the scope of the present disclosure. The computing device 104 may include, but not limited to, a smart mobile or a tablet, a desktop or a computer, a laptop, or other similar handheld device operated in the network 106.

[0005] According to non-limiting exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure, the network 106 may be a local area network (LAN), a wide area network (WAN), or a combination of different networks, an internet and/or any cellular network by way of cellular technology such as GSM (global system for mobile communications), CDMA (code division multiple access), and AMPS (advanced mobile phone system).

[0006] Referring to FIG. 1B is a block diagram 100b, depicting system 102 disclosed in FIG. 1A, according to exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure. The system 102 further includes a catalogue generating module 108, a digital menu appearing module 109, a reviews publishing module 110, an offers issuing module 112, a game objects providing module 114, an information providing module 116, an invoice generating module 118, a vehicle availability checking module 120, and a communications providing module 122.

[0007] According to non-limiting exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure, the catalogue generating module 108 may be configured to generate catalogue of visiting places. The visiting places may include, but not limited to, restaurants, bars, lounges, pubs, night clubs, resorts, gardens and the like without limiting the scope of the present disclosure. The catalogue may be generated by the catalogue generating module 108 based on locations nearer to the customer, ratings, type of places to visit, offers and the like without limiting the scope of the present disclosure. For example, the catalogues may also be generated based on a user’s (here customer) current location and if the location is set to off on the computing device 104 then the restaurants based on the default location from settings may be listed.

[0008] According to non-limiting exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure, the digital menu appearing module 109 may be configured to display a digital menu of the selected visiting place in the computing device 104. The digital menu may be inclusive of, but not limited to, types of products, price of the products, images, amenities and the like. The users may see the amenities in the digital menu provided by each visiting place. The amenities may include, but not limited to, parking, air conditioner, entertainment systems (for example TV, WI-FI) and the likes. The users may sort the menu based on not limited to, the ratings, alphabetical order, cuisine preference (vegetarian, non-vegetarian, pan Asian, Indian, Italian and the like), pricing, chef’s choice and the like without limiting the scope of the present disclosure. The users may select the items they want to order and see the estimated price to see their affordability before visiting the said places.

[0009] According to non-limiting exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure, the reviews publishing module 110 may be configured to publish reviews, ratings for the visited places provided by the users (here customers and the merchant). The reviews may be provided based on the ambience, service, food quality, quantity of food for which the order was placed, pricing and the like without limiting the scope of the present disclosure in case of the customer and behaviour, ease of handling, and present ability of the customer in case of merchants. The reviews publishing module 110 may also be configured to enquire about requirements, concerns by posting questions to visited places well before visiting.

[0010] According to non-limiting exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure, the offers issuing module 112 may be configured to issue offers to the users for each day or for a specific time of a day or for number of days the offer may be available. The offers may be issued based on the number of users visiting. The users may select many tables available for each offer. The offers may be available for customers based on coupons. The users need to buy and/or book the coupons in order to avail the offers provided by the merchants. The users may add the regular food, beverages ordering pattern in the settings. The restaurants may be sorted by pricing based on the pricing for the specific pattern.

[0011] According to non-limiting exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure, the game objects providing module 114 may be configured to provide the game objects to the users. The game objects may include, but not limited to, puzzles, dices, test ingenuity queries and the like without limiting the scope of the present disclosure. For example, the game objects may be configured to check the user’s intoxication levels in order to warn from further consuming alcoholic beverages.

[0012] According to non-limiting exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure, the information providing module 116 may be configured to provide the information based on various types of products, its origin, popularity and the like in the visiting places. For example, the product may include an alcoholic beverage on the type of alcohol, percentage of alcohol in a particular drink chosen, how to consume the drink including details as what mixes well with the alcohol and which food is best to consume along with the drink and the food to be avoided.

[0013] According to non-limiting exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure, the invoice generating module 118 may be configured to generate invoice for the selected portion. The selected portions may include, but not limited to, selected products, selected places to visit, and the like. The users may split the invoice and pay from the system 102 using the available points or using the cards stored in the system 102. The vehicle availability checking module 120 may be configured to check the available vehicles by the users in the current locations. The communications providing module 122 may be configured to establish communication between the users. For example, the system 102 may easily develop communication between the servants and the customers, the system 102 may also develop communication between the merchants and the customers.

[0014] Referring to FIG. 2 is a block diagram 200, depicting the computing device 104 disclosed in FI.G. 1A, according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure. It should be noted, however, that embodiments are not limited to implementation on such computing devices, but may be implemented on any of a variety of different types of computing units within the scope of embodiments hereof. The computing device 104 is only one example of search and it is not intended to suggest any limitation as to the scope of use or functionality of the disclosure.

[0015] In some embodiments, the computing device 104 may include a bus 202, a processor 204, a memory 206, a network device 208, an input device 210, and an output device 212. The bus 202 may include a path that permits communication among the components of the computing device 104.

[0016] The memory 206 may store the modules of the system 102 which are the catalogue generating module 108, the reviews providing module 110, the offers issuing module 112, the game objects providing module 114, the products information providing module 116, the invoice generating module 118, the vehicle availability checking module 120, and the communications providing module 122.

[0017] The memory 206 may be any type of computer memory known in the art or future-developed for electronically storing data and/or logic, including volatile and non-volatile memory. In this regard, memory 206 can include random access memory (RAM), read-only memory (ROM), flash memory, any magnetic computer storage unit, including hard disks, floppy discs, or magnetic tapes, and optical discs.

[0018] The processor 204 comprises processing hardware for interpreting or executing tasks or instructions stored in the memory 206. Note that the processor 204 may be a microprocessor, a digital processor, or other type of circuitry configured to run and/or execute instructions.

[0019] The network device 208 may be any type of network unit (e.g., a modem) known in the art or future-developed for communicating over a network device 208.

[0020] The input device 210 is any type of input unit known in the art or future-developed for receiving data. As an example, the input unit 210 may be a keyboard, a mouse, a touch screen, a serial port, a scanner, a camera, a microphone and the like.

[0021] The output device 212 may be any type of output unit known in the art or future-developed for displaying or outputting data. As an example, the output device 212 may be a liquid crystal display (LCD) or other type of video display unit.

[0022] Referring to FIG. 3 is a flow diagram 300, depicting the method for selectively generating, viewing and publishing digital and interactive menu over a networked platform, according an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure. As an option, the method 300 may be carried out in the context of the details of FIG. 1, and FIG. 2. However, the method 300 may also be carried out in any desired environment. Further, the aforementioned definitions may equally apply to the description below.

[0023] The method commences at step 302, where the user may select the catalogue of the place intended to be visited by the user. Here, the catalogue of visiting places may be generated based on the nearest location, offers, ratings and the like without limiting the scope of the present disclosure. The user may view a digital menu of the selected visiting place, at step 304. The digital menu may include, but not limited to, product price, images, amenities and the like. The user may select required things in the digital menu, at step 306. The user may give reviews on the selected things in the digital menu, at step 308. The users may make the payment for the selected things, at step 310. ,CLAIMS:CLAIMS:
What is claimed is:

1. A system for selectively generating, viewing and publishing digital and interactive menu over a networked platform, comprising:
a catalogue generating module is configured to generate a catalogue of visiting places, wherein the catalogue of visiting places are provided by a plurality of digital menu boards by a digital menu appearing module;
a reviews publishing module configured to publish a plurality of reviews provided by the plurality of users, whereby the plurality of users are allowed to give the plurality of reviews for a plurality of selected things in the digital menu of the visiting place; and
an offers issuing module configured to issue a plurality of offers to the plurality of users, wherein the plurality of users are authorized to use the plurality offers for the selected things from the digital menu.
2. The system of claim 1, wherein a game objects providing module is configured to provide a plurality of game objects to the plurality of users.

3. The system of claim 1, wherein an information providing module is configured to provide information of the plurality of things in the digital menu.

4. The system of claim 1, wherein an invoice generating module is configured to generate a plurality of invoices for the selected plurality of things.

5. The system of claim 1, wherein a vehicle availability checking module is configured to check a plurality of available vehicles in the nearest location of the user.

6. The system of claim 1, wherein a computing device for selecting, viewing, publishing digital and interactive menu over a network platform.

7. A method for selectively generating, viewing and publishing digital and interactive menu over a networked platform, comprising:

selecting catalogue of visiting places by a user;

viewing digital menu of the selected visiting place by the user;

selecting a required plurality of things from digital menu;

giving reviews on the plurality of selected things from the digital menu; and

making payment for the plurality of selected things.
