, Description:FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention discloses the system and method for skill training of student by using virtual reality technology. In particular, it is related to education field.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Training is the process of enhancing the skills, capabilities and knowledge of employees for doing a particular job. Training process moulds the thinking of employees and leads to quality performance of employees. It is continuous and never ending in nature. This assignment is based on need and importance of training.
Skill development is important in the overall development of a student. There are a few students who may not be academically strong. Introducing skill training and encouraging the weak students will help in providing equal opportunities.
Everyone aspires to embellish a good career in their life. Skill development is the most important part of any successful career journey. Skill makes a person flexible, reliable, productive and efficient in the job prospectus and this widens the career opportunities.
Currently, the skill development has done in a real place. Students should go to that place to learn different skills. But every time it is not that much easy to go to particular place for training purpose.
As technology become more and more advanced, it tries to give solutions to each and every problem. The present invention discloses the system and method for skill training by using virtual reality technology.
The invention application will help student to get skill training by using virtual reality application.
Virtual Reality (VR) is the use of computer technology to create a simulated environment. Unlike traditional user interfaces, VR places the user inside an experience. Instead of viewing a screen in front of them, users are immersed and able to interact with 3D worlds. Virtual reality is a simulated experience that can be similar to or completely different from the real world. Applications of virtual reality can include entertainment and educational purposes.
OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
The main object of the invention is, the system and method for skill training of student by using virtual reality technology.
Another object of the invention is, Virtual reality enabled devices are needed (such as VR headset, and other handy device).
Other object of the invention is, virtual workstation is created for student.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
The present invention discloses the system and method for skill training of student by using virtual reality technology. The invention application is installed at backend server. The application is designed in a such a way that it creates virtual scene and situation for student for skill training. The virtual scene includes various stages for particular training, so that student can gain knowledge step by step. Student wear Virtual reality enabled headset. Virtual reality enabled headset is connected with backend server. As student wear headset, he/she can see various stages for training. With the help of headset and other device hold in hand, student would perform skill training.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
Fig 1 shows flowchart of the method and computer program for this invention.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The present invention discloses the system and method for skill training of student by using virtual reality technology.
The present invention system and method for skill training for student is comprising of components such as;
Virtual reality enabled headset
Virtual reality enabled hand device for grip
Backend server – the application of skill training of student is installed
Wi-Fi modem - for connectivity between backend server and virtual reality enabled devices such as headset and hand device
The present invention implemented in a combination of both hardware and software. The present invention discloses the system and method for skill training of student by using virtual reality technology is comprising of;
Step 1) The skill training of student application is installed at backend server
Step 2) VR enabled headset and hand device is connected with backend server
Step 3) Student wear VR enabled headset and hold the VR enabled device in hand
Step 4) Virtual reality headset and virtual reality application stimulate virtual scene for skill training of student
Step 5) Student perform skill training in virtual reality world
This is general overview of system. System is not bounded to this only.
Here by using this invention student can perform skill training in a safe and controlled environment.
Virtual reality simulations can also help students learn practical skills, and one of the biggest benefits to training people in this way is that students can learn from realistic scenarios without the risk of practicing an unfamiliar skill in an uncontrolled real-life situation.
People who got VR training learned faster and better than those who were merely shown video tutorials.
The students who learned with VR made fewer mistakes and were quicker at pulling the espresso shots than those who watched the video tutorials.
The advantages of the presented invention are as follows;
The ability to change the virtual environment relatively easily, to grade task difficulty and to adapt it according to the student's capabilities are important advantages of VR, since these features are essential to increase understanding and confidence.
It can be carried out in a safe environment rather than on real world.
It can be carried out in a control environment, which boost student’s confidence for particular skill.
Take an example of this invention, suppose student want to carried out communication skill training. With the help of this invention, student can take training of communication in safe and controlled environment. Due to which student confidence would be increased definitely.
Virtual Reality (VR) is the use of computer technology to create a simulated environment. Unlike traditional user interfaces, VR places the user inside an experience. Instead of viewing a screen in front of them, users are immersed and able to interact with 3D worlds.
