, Description:FILED OF THE INVENTION
The present invention discloses the system and method for smart shoes for blind people using Internet of Things (IoT). The invention provides smart and sensible navigation guidance to visually impaired person.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Eyes play important role in our day to day lives and are perhaps the most valuable gift we have. This world is visible to us because we are blessed with eyesight. But there are some people who lag this ability of visualizing these things. Due to this, visually impaired people face many challenges when moving in unfamiliar public places. Million people are estimated to be visually impaired worldwide.
The main concern for blind people is mobility. They need to depend on other for mobility. As there are number of applications which navigate a destination path, but it is not that much helpful to visually impaired person. Because, visually impaired person doesn’t realize that if there are any obstacles or any steps, so it becomes very difficult to reach at destination.
Currently, there is no such system who can help the visually impaired person for reaching to destination.
The present invention solves above problem with help of Internet of Things (IoT).
Internet of Things (IoT) is a system of interrelated computing devices, mechanical and digital machines, objects, animals or people that are provided with unique identifiers (UIDs) and the ability to transfer data over a network without requiring human-to-human or human-to-computer interaction.
The present invention discloses the system and method for smart shoes for blind people for guiding them for destination path with the help of Internet of Things (IoT).
OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION
The main object of the invention is that, the system and method for smart shoes for blind people using Internet of Things (IoT).
Another object of the invention is that, number of Internet of things (IoT) enabled sensors are installed on smart shoes.
Another object of the invention is that, smart phone with active internet connection is required.
Other object of the invention is that, guide the blind people for navigation to destination.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
The present invention discloses the system and method for smart shoes for blind people using Internet of Things (IoT). This smart shoe will have number of sensors attached to it. The smart shoes are communicating to smart phone where smart shoes application is installed with the help of internet of things. Blind person wears smart shoes. User has to choose destination by giving voice command. Then with help of sensors, if there are any obstacles it sends data to cloud. And cloud send data to smart phone which will tell user that there is an obstacle. In such a way, application navigate user to reach to destination.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF INVENTION
The present invention discloses the system and method for smart shoes for blind people by using Internet of Things (IoT).
The present invention, smart shoe will have an electronic board with sensors and chipsets to communicate with Smart electronic devices such as smart phone with active internet connection.
The smart shoe is comprising of components such as,
Any smart electronic computing device – smart shoe application is installed
Sensors and chipsets - to communicate with smart electronic device relating path navigation
Shoe base – number of sensors are installed
Internal CPU – to communicate with smart electronic device wirelessly to transfer data from sensors
The present system is the combination of both, hardware and software to achieve the goal.
Shoes are used to protect the feet. But smart shoes not only protect the feet but also guide the navigation to destination to user with help of internet of things enabled sensors. These sensors communicate with smart electronic devices such as smart phone. The invention work as the following:
Step 1) Users open the smart shoe application by voice command
Step 2) User wear smart shoes
Step 3) User select source and destination for navigation from application
Step 4) Smart shoe application navigates the use proper path
Step 5) With the help of sensors, application alert the user for further movement to avoid any accident
The smart shoes will be made in multiple versions from as simple shoes by just placing number of sensors which communicate to any smart electronic device which are having active internet connection.
The smart shoe comprising of various sensors which sense any obstacles coming in path. And by alerting about it to user. And give user proper advice of where to move to reach safely the proper destination without wasting a time.
The sensors send data to smart device using Internet of Things (IoT).
Internet of Things (IoT) - The Internet of Things (IoT) is a system of interrelated computing devices, mechanical and digital machines, objects, animals or people that are provided with unique identifiers (UIDs) and the ability to transfer data over a network without requiring human-to-human or human-to-computer interaction.
The example of the invention is, suppose the user wear the smart shoes, and going on destination path. In path steps are coming, then sensor sense that there is an obstacle in path. So, sensors send data to cloud. Cloud send data to smart phone. When such alert come to smart phone. The alert is given to user as a voice command. And guide user where to move, means in which direction to move.
Another example of the invention is, suppose user going to destination. Now there is road closed, then sensor sense that, there is no road further. Sensor send alert to cloud. Cloud send alert to user, that there is no road. So, it will save the user from any accident.
