Abstract: ABSTRACT SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SOFTWARE DEPLOYMENT IN AN ELECTRONIC SYSTEM OF RAILWAY EQUIPMENT The invention relates to a system and a method for deploying a software in an electronic system of railway equipment. The system includes railway equipment, at least one data storage device (4) and at least one electronic device (6), the data storage device being attached to the railway equipment, the data storage device including a software (22) stored in memory for performing one or more functions of the railway equipment, the electronic device being removably attached to the item of railway equipment and being connected to the data storage device by a data connector (8), the electronic device being configured for loading software from the storage during the start-up of the electronic device.
