The present invention discloses the system and method for strategic marketing in travel industry by using big data technology. The invention is related to travel industry, which are now well developed due to upcoming technologies. Big data is one of the best technologies which can be effectively used for strategic marketing in travel industry.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Tourism marketing is basically a segment of online marketing that deals with promoting different tourist attractions, tours and activities, destinations, accommodation etc. In today’s tech-oriented world, using online marketing strategies to promote travel business goes a long way.
Marketing is about anticipating and identifying the wants and needs of a target market of consumers, then satisfying those needs in order to make a profit. Travel and tourism organisations must understand their customer’s demands.
A marketing strategy is all of a company’s marketing goals and objectives combined into a single comprehensive plan. Business executives draw a successful marketing strategy from market research. They also focus on the right product mix so that they can get the most profit.

Big data is the vast volume of structured or unstructured data that is readily available at our collective fingertips. These large data sets are analysed to reveal previously unknown patterns and provide insights into businesses, human behaviour, and more. Big data analysis is used for everything from financial services, to gauging someone’s productivity, to even monitoring the weather.
The key feature of big data is to analyse, understand and interpret it in order to give user a full a picture as possible about the strategic marketing in travel industry.
