Abstract: Internet of things (IoT) include one or more embedded devices that are to be tested. However to test one or more embedded devices, input source has to be changed. The present disclosure utilizes a simulator that provides data for testing the embedded devices. The method comprises of generating test scenarios from the context models created based on the information related to multiple layers of an IoT ecosystem. Further, the method includes creating synthetic data from the context models. Subsequently simulating the embedded devices to obtain a set of analog signal and sending the analog signals to the embedded devices for testing and receiving an output. Further the output is compared with the reference data and test case status is updated. To be published with FIG. 2
