System And Method For The Treatment Of All Type Of Biodegradable Effluents
Abstract: There is disclosed an improved method of treating biodegradable effluents comprising: a. subjecting the effluent to Electro-destruction and Electro-coagulation, b. i. Carrying out the Electro-destruction and Electro-coagulation either simultaneously in a single stage in presence of electrodes namely, anodes and cathodes or ii. in two stages, one after the other in that order, in presence of electrodes namely, anodes and cathodes, c. wherein the cathodes in either of the single stage treatment or in the two stage treatment is selected from stainless steel, aluminium, iron or any other suitable material d. and wherein, the anodes in the single stage or in the first of the two stages treatment is selected from titanium, uncoated or coated with precious metal oxides, e. and wherein the anode in the second of the said two stage treatment is selected from aluminium or iron.
