1) The system and method for training for lift truck operator for warehouse by using virtual reality technology comprising of;
a. Any VR enabled device - such as VR headset and other devices;
b. Backend server – the training for lift truck operator application is installed; and
c. Wi-Fi modem – for connectivity between backend server and virtual reality enabled device
2) The system claimed in claim 1 wherein, person operate lift truck in stimulated virtual workstations.
3) The system claimed in claim 1 wherein, person can experience virtual workstation scenarios.
4) The system claimed in claim 1 wherein, no risk while training.
, Description:FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention discloses the system and method for training for lift truck operator of warehouse by using virtual reality technology. In particular, it is related to warehouse management.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
One of the most important and widely used pieces of equipment in material handling, is the lift truck. Lift truck is a powered industrial vehicle used to lift and transport materials for short distances. It is also Known as forklift truck, fork truck or forklift.
Operator powered industrial trucks to load and unload materials and deliveries and move them to and from storage areas, machines and loading docks, into railroad cars or trucks or storage facilities.
There are some characteristics requires for an efficient forklift driver such as:
Effective Communication Skills, Stellar Organization Skills, Works Well Under Pressure, Exhibits Patience, Shows Adaptability.
But finding an experienced person, many warehouses chooses unexperienced operators and train them for lift truck. With actual training it utilizes much more time and money. Risk is also main factor.
Currently there is no such system which solves above issues.
The present invention resolves all above issues.
The present invention discloses the system and method for training for lift truck operator of warehouse using virtual reality technology.
Virtual Reality (VR) is the use of computer technology to create a simulated environment. Unlike traditional user interfaces, VR places the user inside an experience. Instead of viewing a screen in front of them, users are immersed and able to interact with 3D worlds.
Virtual reality is a simulated experience that can be similar to or completely different from the real world. Applications of virtual reality can include entertainment and educational purposes and industrial and warehouse.
OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
The main object of the invention is, the system and method for training for lift truck operator of warehouse by using virtual reality technology.
Another object of the invention is, Virtual reality enabled devices are needed (such as VR headset).
Other object of the invention is, virtual workstation is created for training purpose of lift truck.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
The present invention discloses the system and method for training for lift truck operator of warehouse by using virtual reality technology. The invention application is installed at backend server. The application is designed in a such a way that it creates virtual workstation for training for lift truck operations to unexperienced worker by just wearing virtual reality enabled headset. Person who does not have any experienced can gain knowledge of lift truck operations without entering into actual work floor with help of this invention

The present invention implemented in a combination of both hardware and software. The present invention discloses the system and method for training for lift truck operator for warehouse by using virtual reality technology is comprising of;
Step 1) The training for lift truck operator for warehouse application is installed at backend server
Step 2) VR enabled headset and other device are connected with backend server
Step 3) Operator wear VR enabled headset and hold the VR device in hand
Step 4) Virtual reality headset and virtual reality application stimulate lift truck training scenarios for operator
Step 5) Operator becomes part of the virtual stimulation in a such way that, person thinks he is actually operating the lift truck
This is general overview of system. System is not bounded to this only.
Here by using this invention person who has no experienced related to lift truck can gain sufficient knowledge about lift truck operation.
The invention helps person to operate the lift truck efficiently with proper knowledge and training. Virtual headset, device and invention application stimulate the virtual workstation of lift truck for trainee. As all the scenario are virtual, there is no risk or incident of accident while training. It is very safe for trainee, who has no experience of lift truck operation.
The present invention, trying to give solution for training for lift truck operator of warehouse who has no experience of lift truck.
Training sessions include information of all parts of lift truck, how lift truck work actually, how it’s all buttons and switches work actually, how to perform particular task by using lift truck like this. Training sessions also includes what precautions should be taken while operating the lift truck. It also includes what actions should be taken if some unwanted incidents happen with lift truck.
It means that, the invention application provides all guide book of lift truck to the trainee to avoid any accident or risk.
The advantages of the invention presented is as follows;
It can be carried out in a safe environment rather than on real work floor, which in extreme cases, could put the trainee at risk through the adoption of defensive driving behaviours, such as braking harder or going slow on warehouses by the precaution mind.
Take an example of this invention, suppose person doesn’t have any experience of lift truck, but want to work for it. Now, with the help of this invention application, person has to just wear the VR enabled headset and hold VR enabled device for experiencing the virtual stimulation of lift truck. The person could get all information and training of lift truck without going to actual work floor.
