Abstract: The system and method for transport carrier onboarding by using blockchain technology. Transport carrier onboarding application is installed on blockchain backend server. New carrier onboarding data is stored in database in cryptographic form. Block created for each and every new carrier. The record of every shipment for carrier is stored in database. Smart agreement is created between carrier and transport company.

, Description:FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention discloses the system and method for transport carrier onboarding using blockchain technology. The field of the invention is related to transport sector. Invention mainly in the area of carrier onboarding with the help of blockchain technology.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The most important part of transport sector is carrier. Carrier is a person or company that transports goods or people for any person or company and that is responsible for any possible loss of the goods during transportation.
For short distance shipping one carrier is sufficient, but when long distance comes in picture, there are number of carriers are involved in whole shipment. Currently, the broker or middleman or agent has play important role of maintaining the communication between these carriers who are related to particular shipment.
But sometimes it may happen, the communication turns into miscommunication. And shipment delayed due to the miscommunication of carriers and agent.
For long distance shipping, one carrier carries shipment to one particular distance. Further distance can be covered by other carrier or number of carriers.
Currently there is no such system which bound all these carriers in a such way that the whole shipment process run smoothly.
The present disclosed invention solves the above problem.
It provides system and method for transport carrier onboarding by using block chain technology.
Blockchain is a distributed ledger, which simply means that a ledger is spread across the network among all peers in the network, and each peer holds a copy of the complete ledge.
More specifically, Blockchain is essentially a way of keeping records and can be used in almost any product that uses some sort of record keeping or database management.
With the help of blockchain technology, the transport carrier onboarding can be done with transparency. No data could be forged.
OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
The main object of the invention is, transport carrier onboarding using blockchain technology.
Another object of the invention is, can track the all carriers involved in particular shipment.
Another object of the invention is, can maintain record of each carrier involved in shipment.
Other object of the invention is, prevent theft of commodity due to tracking carrier.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
The present invention discloses a method, system or computer program for transport carrier onboarding using blockchain technology. The system and method for transport carrier onboarding is comprising of;
Blockchain application – for transport carrier onboarding application
Backend server – All data related to onboarding carrier is stored in server
Any electronic device which has active internet connection- for connection of blockchain application of transport carrier onboarding application.
Transport team member has to open the web application of transport carrier onboarding on any electronic device. Team member add details of new carrier onboarding. Data saved to database in cryptographic form. For every new entry of carrier, hash is created. New block is created for every carrier. This block is attached to blockchain. The shipment assign to carrier is stored in the form of record in database.

Fig 1 shows flowchart of the method and computer program for this invention.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The present invention discloses a method, system or computer program for transport carrier onboarding by using blockchain technology.
Blockchain is, in essence, a digital database (or ledger) distributed across a network of computers.
The records are protected by cryptography and are, therefore, protected against human error, editing and removal. The versatility of blockchain means it is being widely considered as a way to manage financial transactions, asset transfers and regulatory obligations. In particular, blockchain is now seen by many as the future of various industries due to its transparency.
The system and method for transport carrier onboarding is comprising of contents;
Blockchain application – for transport carrier onboarding application
Backend server – All data related to carrier is stored in server
Any electronic computing device with active internet connection
The system and method for transport carrier onboarding by using blockchain technology is comprising of the steps are as;
Step 1) Transport team member has to open web application of transport carrier onboarding
Step 2) Click Add new button if team member wants to add new carrier into application
Step 3) Click update button if user want to update previous record of existing carrier
Step 4) Click save button, for saving the record of both Add new and update option
Step 5) Data related to carrier is saved in database in cryptographic form
Step 6) New hash is created. New block is created. Block is attached to blockchain.
Backend server has to installed transport carrier onboarding application. The database is created for storing the record for each transport carrier. The record is stored in database in cryptographic form and new block is created for particular transport carrier at first time. Hash is created for new block and attached to blockchain. A hash is unique identity.
The data on Blockchain is immutable, auditable and decentralized so cannot be changed by anyone except transport authority.
Any team member of transportation authority can see the information of particular transport carrier. But no one can change the information. This is the unique feature of blockchain, that is, immutable and distributed.
Blockchain combined with modern technologies can create a transparent transport carrier onboarding.
Blockchain’s distributed nature enables an implementation method which puts transport authority and team member in the same network. Any team member can easily get information regarding any transport carrier onboarding within a second without wasting time.
Take an example, suppose one transport company want to assign shipment to carrier, but company does not have any information related to carrier. It is risky to directly assign shipment to unknown carrier. So, with help of this invention company can search for onboarding carrier who are available for shipment.
Another feature of invention is that, is can keep track of onboarding carrier involved in particular shipment. So, if any problem arise company can directly verify carrier who is present at that time. So, tracking of carrier onboarding is possible due to this invention.
Main advantage of the invention is that any person from transport chain can know the information of particular carrier onboarding as blockchain technology has distributed network. But no one can change the record of carrier as blockchain technology is immutable structure.
It prevents any forge record of carrier onboarding.
Blockchain acts as the backbone in transport industry as it offers transparency from the onset.
