Claims:1) A system for updating search index in web search engine to facilitate broad search applications comprising of:
a. user interface;
b. a communication network such as internet; and
c. a website.
2) A method for updating search index in web search engine to facilitate broad search applications comprising the steps of;
a. providing user interface comprising a search field;
b. receiving search string from user input device;
c. receiving search string by putting some additional keywords;
d. updating the keywords in the database;
e. retrieving the information easily using same search engine; and
f. updating a search engine index based on the information.
3)The system as claimed in claim 1, wherein the said search strings or the keywords used by the user’s are constantly updated into a database and are linked to the related information so that the information is retrieved easily using the same search engine.
4) The system as claimed in claim 1, wherein the said Indexes in database contains only sorted values to make the process faster.
5) The system as claimed in claim 1, wherein the said search results are filtered by addition of additional search terms to broaden search results.
6) The system as claimed in claim 1, wherein the said search results are broadened by deleting previously entered search terms.
, Description:Field of the Invention:
The present invention relates to data processing and for locating data. The present invention more particularly relates to system and method for updating search index in web search engine.
Background of the Invention:
Conventional search application programs often are slow and cumbersome to use. Usually user has to type in a search term, click on a search button, and review the results. If the user is not satisfied with the results, too many items or items that are not of interest are found, then the user needs to edit the search terms, click on an initiate search button, and again review the results. Many search application programs only provide for limited search filtering, wherein the user is limited to filtering the search based on dates, file location, and file contents.
Another drawback of some search engines is that the time taken to complete a search is more which annoys the user. Some search engines do not include search features directed to specific types of search targets, such as email, Web pages, and files. So separate tools may be needed to search for email, Web pages, and files if the user desires corresponding specific search features which make it inconvenient for the user.
In Web-based search systems, the user types in a search phrase in a Web page search field presented via a browser on the user’s computer screen, and then press an Enter key or Search button to have the query transmitted to a remote server system that will perform the search. The server processes the query, generates a list of search results, and sends the list back to the user's browser. The user then clicks on one of the choices, a target page is displayed. The process from the time the user starts typing, until the user sees the target page, can take at least 5 seconds, and often takes 30 seconds or more.
This type of search process require a lot of time to type search phrase and to receive search results in efficient manner. First the user may think carefully regarding what search terms to use, the user then enters the search term, initiates the search, after several seconds receives and reviews the list of results, decides which, if any of the results seem relevant enough to click on, click on a selected list item, wait several seconds for the corresponding Web page to open and display on the user's browser, and finally reviews the Web page.
So there is a need for providing a technique for improving search relevancy. So search engine indexing provides the results for search queries and pages that are stored within the search engine index that appear on the search engine results page. The present invention is a system and method for updating search engine index to facilitate broad search applications.
OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION:
The main object of the invention is to provide search relevancy while searching on web.
Yet another object of the present invention is to provide the results for search queries and pages that are stored within the search engine index that appear on the search engine results page

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION:
Accordingly, a system and method for updating search index in web search engine to facilitate broad search applications is disclosed.
The present invention provides search relevancy while searching on web and to provide the results for search queries and pages that are stored within the search engine index that appear on the search engine results page. In this system, the search strings or the keywords used by the user’s while searching on the web search engine are constantly updated into a database and are linked to the related information so that the information is retrieved easily using the same search engine.

The present invention is a system and method for updating search index in web search engine to facilitate broad search applications. The present invention provides search relevancy while searching on web and to provide the results for search queries and pages that are stored within the search engine index that appear on the search engine results page.
In this system, the search strings or the keywords used by the user’s while searching on the web search engine are constantly updated into a database and are linked to the related information so that the information is retrieved easily using the same search engine.
In one embodiment, a system for updating search index in web search engine to facilitate broad search applications comprising of: User interface; a communication network such as internet; and a website.
In another embodiment, a method for updating search index in web search engine to facilitate broad search applications comprising the steps of: Providing user interface comprising a search field; Receiving search string from user input device; Receiving search string by putting some additional keywords; Updating the keywords in the database; Retrieving the information easily using same search engine; and Updating a search engine index based on the information.
The search targets include one or more of files, emails, email attachments, Webpages, specific databases, and/or the like. After entering search string by the user, user checks the search results obtained and put additional characteristic in the search string and by entering additional search characters, a new search string is generated and by deleting one or more search string characters, expected search results are obtained. Search application generates one or more indexes corresponding to the search target types. Search is performed and the search results are narrowed down after each character in search string is entered by user. If user wants to add some more keywords, he/she can add the keywords based on entering new search string and deleting some characters if he/she wants to delete it.
For example: If a search application generates one or more indexes with respect to search target types. Index includes content information and additional information to achieve search targets.
Search engines organize information before a search to enable super-fast responses to queries. Searching through individual pages for keywords and topics would be a very slow process for search engines to identify relevant information. Indexes in database contain only sorted values, due to which searching a particular value in a field becomes faster. Binary search algorithm is used to search from index which makes the searching even faster.
Search engine indexing is to update search index to facilitate broad search applications. Search engine indexing is the process of a search engine collecting, parsing and storing data for use by the search engine. The search engine index provides the results for search queries and pages that are stored within the search engine index that appear on the search engine results page.
When search results are displayed to user, the search results are refined or filtered by addition of additional search terms or keywords. The search results can be broadened by the user by deleting previously entered search terms. A user interface includes search results and view area which is displayed by selecting contents. Search can be carried out for a plurality of attribute fields for files, emails, email attachments, the Internet, other networks, prior Internet or other network search results (such as history), favorites, specific databases. The search system includes a client-based search application and a server-based search application.
