FIELD OF INVENTION:
The proposed invention is about a system and method for protecting Women at Workplace
against sexual harassment. The system gives device based application which educates,
5 encourage and provides anonymous way to register the complaint in the case of sexual
harassment.
BACKGROUND OF INVENTION:
The reporting of “incidents” is often of great value in recognizing potential problems before
10 the persons involved go further along the same paths, too often with tragic or unfortunate
results. Early recognition of problem personalities or trends can provide opportunities for
intervention and prevention of more serious activities. Incidents of all sorts occur frequently
in social circumstances, such as in schools or the workplace, where stress can lead to
escalation, and escalation can lead to violence. The problems relate to groups which include
15 three of the largest segments of the population; children attending school from age five
through eighteen, students attending secondary school and those employed.
Difficulties occur in the handling of reports and in encouraging observers to make the
incidents known to those in authorities, however. These difficulties arise in areas of
20 collating and correlating the incidents and in maintaining secrecy and the privacy of the
persons involved, whether they are the perpetrators or the witnesses. There is frequently a
fear factor among witnesses, as well as a general reluctance to get involved or to be seen as
a “snitch” or troublemaker. Overcoming obstacles to reporting incidents, and providing a
structure for discreet and efficient handling of reports is accordingly an organizational goal.
25 A major concern in modern society deals with these incidents, especially in light of trends
of violence in the workplace and educational institutions. Today, violence, including sexual
assault and harassment, is so prevalent in the workplace that, in many organizations it has
become an accepted fact of life.

The following summary of the invention is provided to facilitate an understanding of some
of the innovative features unique to the present invention, and is not intended to be a full
description of variations that may be apparent to those of skill in the art. A full appreciation
of the various aspects of the invention can be gained from the entire specification, claims,
drawings, and abstract taken as a whole.
In an exemplary embodiment of the invention, the present invention is a system for
5 protecting and educating women at workplace against sexual harassment, the
system include an application module adapted to have different section, a processor
connected to the application module to process request made by user, a memory unit
configured with processor, a communication module adapted to connect the application
module with the processor and the memory unit. wherein the application module has
10 different section such as education section m for different case studies and videos, quiz
section for testing knowledge of a person, expert section for counseling the offender, SOS
section for any distress, complain section for registering complain anonymously and story
section for sharing experience. The processor connected to the memory unit to process the
request and represents the information soughted by the user and the communication module
15 adapted to work with several means of communication such as Wi-Fi, Ethernet, GPS,
cellular and satellite.
Another aspect of the present invention provides method for protecting and educating
women at workplace against sexual harassment, the method includes receiving the case
studies and videos from education module, evaluating the user using the quiz section,
20 getting consultation from expert using expert section, sending alarm or distress signal to
third party using SOS section, registering complain in an anonymous way using complain
section and writing experience in to the story section.
The education module is loaded with large number of case studies and videos to educate
the user. The evaluating the user means asking the user different type of question to assess
25 the level of information user has. Consultation section is connected to expert of legal field
to get user consultation. The complaint section provided to user to register complains in
anonymous way.

DESCRIPTION OF INVENTION:

The present invention is a system and method for protecting and educating women at work
place.
As is shown in FIG. 1, the system comprises application module having different section.
5 The education module which is loaded with the case studies and different type of videos
which is very informative to the user, the contents in the education module comprises all
sexual harassment cases happened in the past with their judgment and relevant section and
rule associated with it for easy understanding of different scenario related to sexual
harassment. The quiz section is provided to check the user understanding and level of
10 alertness she has regarding sexual harassment at workplace, quiz section is usually
recommended to user after going through the education module.
The quiz section analyses and rewards the user in the case she performs well the questions
that were asked during quiz session. If user is perplexed with certain scenario and she is not
15 able to decide what to do in that case expert section is provided where user can contact legal
experts in that very field for consultation and counseling. The SOS section is providing
within the system so that if user is trapped in difficult scenario she can alert the authority or
concerned person by sending SOS or distress message. The complaint section is provided to
user for easy registering of complain, the big advantage is that complainer would be
20 anonymous. Anonymous feature of complain section makes user free from any threat she
can get it from offender.
The story section provided within the system to write and share the experience of any
harassment faced by the user and how she overcame the that difficult scenario, benefit of
25 this section is that user gets confidence and new user may get information on recent
harassment cases and how to tackle it. In another embodiment of the invention, the
application module is attached to the communication module. The communication module
includes different way of communication like Ethernet, cellular communication, GPS,
satellite communication etc. the communication module is attached to the processor. The
30 processor performs all computing tasks asked by user with the help of information stored in
the memory of the system.
In another embodiment of the invention, application module can be downloaded on the
personal mobile phone in the form software application.

As is depicted in FIG. 2, the method for protecting and educating women at workplace
against sexual harassment, the method include receiving the case studies and videos from
education module of the application, evaluating the user using the quiz section, getting

As is depicted in FIG. 3, is the user interface or application interface of the present
invention. The application can be downloaded from goggle play store by user. User can
make login id and create password by applying to service provider. Downloaded application
15 can be easily used by user on their personal electronic gadget, this application provide easy
and convenient way and gives net security to user.
As is depicted in FIG. 4, is the user interface of the application with different option. The
user can create his login id and password and after accessing the application, they can use
various options provided within the application. As shown in the fig.4, my profile, module
20 quiz, query/complaint, SOS and my story section is available within user interface.
As is depicted in FIG. 5A, the user interface having SOS section for alarming the respective
authority and distress signal to person whose contact number she has saved for the
communication in the application database. The user can upload the images, videos, record
and record share the incident or sexual harassment case with concerned person
25 anonymously.

As depicted in FIG. 6, the user interface has quiz section to test the knowledge of user after
going through the education module of the application. The quiz section also encourages the
user to learn more things by awarding them some rewards or bonus.
As depicted in FIG. 7A, the user interface has query and complaint section. The user can
5 send query to experts. Counselling facility is also available through this option, after getting
valuable information from expert or counsellor user can register complaint anonymously.
As depicted in FIG. 7B, the user interface has query and complaint section. The user can
add detail of harasser, full name of offender their designation, working department and
severity of crime. Counselling facility is also available through this option, after getting
10 valuable information from expert or counsellor user can register complaint anonymously.
As depicted in FIG. 8, the user interface has story sharing section. This section provides
user to share their experience of their day to day incident of harassment and uploading the
different cases happening in their surrounding so that other user can be educated and
informed the events.

1. A system for protecting and educating women at workplace against sexual
harassment, the system comprising:
an application module adapted to have different section ;
