Abstract: The present invention relates to a system (200) and a method of performing measurement of electrical parameters of a power transmission system. The system (200) comprises a master unit (206) for picking of a first electrical signal from a power transmission line (202-1) and a slave unit (208) for picking of a second electrical signal from a bus-bar (202-2). The slave unit 10 (208) is communicatively coupled with the master unit (206) for receiving a signal for time synchronisation from the master unit (206). The slave unit (208) is configured to transmit details of the second electrical signal to the master unit (206). The master unit (206) processes details of the first electrical signal and the details of the second electrical signal for determining a comparative result
