Claims:1. A system (10) to maintain a platform associated with a jewel industry comprising:
one or more processors (20);
a registration subsystem (30) operable by the one or more processors (20), and configured to:
register a plurality of sellers on the platform upon receiving a plurality of seller details from a corresponding plurality of sellers;
register a plurality of buyers on the platform upon receiving a plurality of buyer details from a corresponding plurality of buyers;
a characteristic receiving subsystem (40) operable by the one or more processors (20), and configured to receive one or more characteristics associated with one or more corresponding jewels from the plurality of sellers on the platform;
a sharing subsystem (50) operable by the one or more processors (20), and configured to:
generate an information card based on one or more received characteristics of the one or more corresponding jewels, and
share a generated information card of the one or more corresponding jewels by the plurality of sellers to the plurality of buyers on the platform for guiding the plurality of buyers to buy the jewel.
2. The system (10) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the one or more characteristics associated with the one or more corresponding jewels comprises a shape of the jewel, a color of the jewel, a clarity of the jewel, size of the jewel and price of the jewel.
3. The system (10) as claimed in claim 1, comprising an uploading subsystem configured to upload one or more parameters associated with the one or more corresponding jewels by the plurality of sellers on the platform for ensuring credibility of the plurality of sellers to the plurality of buyers.
4. The system (10) as claimed in claim 3, wherein the one or more parameters comprises an image of the jewel, an image of a certificate associated with the jewel and a video link of the jewel.
5. The system (10) as claimed in claim 1, comprising a management subsystem configured to enable the plurality of sellers to manage data associated with the one or more corresponding jewels on the platform.
6. A method (190) for maintaining a platform associated with a jewel industry comprising:
registering, by a registration subsystem, a plurality of sellers on the platform upon receiving a plurality of seller details from a corresponding plurality of sellers;
registering, by the registration subsystem, a plurality of buyers on the platform upon receiving a plurality of buyer details from a corresponding plurality of buyers; (200)
receiving, by a characteristic receiving subsystem, one or more characteristics associated with one or more corresponding jewels from the plurality of sellers on the platform; (210)
generating, by a sharing subsystem, an information card based on one or more received characteristics of the one or more corresponding jewels; and (220)
sharing, by the sharing subsystem, a generated information card of the one or more corresponding jewels by the plurality of sellers to the plurality of buyers on the platform for guiding the plurality of buyers to buy the jewel. (230)
7. The method (190) as claimed in claim 6, wherein receiving the one or more characteristics associated with the one or more corresponding jewels comprises receiving a shape of the jewel, a color of the jewel, a clarity of the jewel, size of the jewel and price of the jewel.
8. The method (190) as claimed in claim 6, comprising uploading, by an uploading subsystem, one or more parameters associated with the one or more corresponding jewels by the plurality of sellers on the platform for ensuring credibility of the plurality of sellers to the plurality of buyers.
9. The method (190) as claimed in claim 8, wherein uploading the one or more parameters comprising uploading an image of the jewel, an image of a certificate associated with the jewel and a video link of the jewel.
10. The method (190) as claimed in claim 6, comprising enabling, by a management subsystem, the plurality of sellers to manage data associated with the one or more corresponding jewels on the platform.

[0001] Embodiments of a present disclosure relate to an online marketplace, and more particularly to a system and a method to maintain a platform associated with a jewel industry.
BACKGROUND
[0002] Online marketplace is a type of electronic-commerce site where product or service information is provided by multiple third parties to the individuals. Selling and buying one or more specialized products such as gemstones around a globe is a difficult task for sellers and buyers.
[0003] In a conventional approach, a vast majority of jewels are traded hand to hand in the jewel industry. However, it is a cumbersome task for the seller to publish and exhibit the inventory of jewels, especially to the individuals residing abroad without a proper platform. Moreover, such approach lacks in providing credibility of the seller to the buyer. This trust deficit is one of the major roadblocks in the jewel trading. Also, such approach is incapable of providing rights to the buyers for examining the quality of the jewel which makes such approach less reliable.
[0004] Hence, there is a need for an improved system and a method to maintain a platform associated with a jewel industry in order to address the aforementioned issues.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION
[0005] In accordance with an embodiment of the disclosure, a system to maintain a platform associated with a jewel industry is disclosed. The system includes one or more processors. The system also includes a registration subsystem operable by the one or more processors. The registration subsystem is configured to register a plurality of sellers on the platform upon receiving a plurality of seller details from a corresponding plurality of sellers. The registration subsystem is also configured to register a plurality of buyers on the platform upon receiving a plurality of buyer details from a corresponding plurality of buyers. The system also includes a characteristic receiving subsystem operable by the one or more processors. The characteristic receiving subsystem is configured to receive one or more characteristics associated with one or more corresponding jewels from the plurality of sellers on the platform. The system also includes a sharing subsystem operable by the one or more processors. The sharing subsystem is configured to generate an information card based on one or more received characteristics of the one or more corresponding jewels. The sharing subsystem is also configured to share a generated information card of the one or more corresponding jewels by the plurality of sellers to the plurality of buyers on the platform for guiding the plurality of buyers to buy the jewel.

In one embodiment, jewel industry may include jewels, jewellery, diamonds, gemstones and the like. Moreover, the present system provides access to the buyers to examine the quality of the jewel before buying them which increases the reliability of online purchasing of jewels.
