Abstract: A system, apparatus and method to manage groups and events is provided herein. The system, apparatus, and method enable maintenance and management of records of various tasks for a get-together such as, but not limited to managing notes, calendars, invitations, reminders, chats, member attendances, punctuality, host selection, member payments, and rules for get-togethers. The system, apparatus, and method further enable a plurality of merchants to offer merchandise and services to target users. The system, apparatus, and method further enable notifications regarding nearby merchant deals, latest fashion trends, famous recipes, finest travel destinations around the globe, events, exhibitions, fairs, festivals, and the likes.
SYSTEM, APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR MANAGING GET-TOGETHERS
FIELD OF THE INVENTION
[0001] The technology in general, concerns a system, apparatus, and method for managing groups and events. More particularly, the technology concerns to a system, apparatus, and method for managing notes, member attendance, host selection, member payments, and rules for kitty parties.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0002] In general, party or event management is tedious job involving manually recording various tasks. For example, keeping records of members, payments, venues, hosts, basic rules, themes, props, etc., is conventionally done by manually maintaining diaries and penning down each record by various members involved.
[0003] Hence, it is apparent that a need exists for system, apparatus, and method that decimates the need of manually managing various tasks related to organizing events.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0004] It is an object herein to provide a system, apparatus, and method for managing notes, member attendance, host selection, member payments, and rules for events.
[0005] It is further object to provide a user device with capabilities to enable a user to manage and maintain records and tasks for a kitty group. The tasks
include creating groups, scheduling events, maintaining kitty diaries, notes, host selection, event selection, reminders, notification about nearby events, deals, set of services etc. The user device comprises one or more processors, one or more computer readable memories, one or more transceivers, and one or more interfaces to enable the user to manage and maintain records of various tasks for the kitty group. The processors, memories, transceivers, and interfaces are coupled to each other.
[0006] It is further object to provide a system with the capabilities to maintain the records for a kitty group, such as but not limited to member attendance, member details, previous record of the members, rules, themes, etc. The system is further configured to enable sharing of records of a plurality of kitty groups among a plurality of user devices. The system is further configured to enable a plurality of merchants to connect with the plurality of user devices and offer respective services via a merchant server. The system is further configured to enable users of the plurality of user devices to share information such as but not limited to notes, invitations, calendars, etc. among each other. The system is further configured to notify the users of the plurality of user devices about nearby merchant deals, latest fashion trends, recipes straight from the chefs case, finest travel destinations around the globe, events, exhibitions, fairs, and festivals. The system is further configured to enable the users of the plurality of user devices to keep track of the calendars of various kitty groups that the users are members of.
[0007] It is further object to provide a computer implemented method to maintain the records of various tasks for a kitty group, such as but not limited to member details, member attendance, member payments, rules, themes, dress code, props etc. The method is implemented by a server comprising processors, database, transceivers.
[0008] It is further object to provide a computer program product comprising computer readable memory means storing instructions, which when executed by a processor of a user device, causes the user device to enable a user to manage and maintain records of various tasks for a kitty group. The tasks include maintaining kitty diaries, notes, host selection, venue selection, rules, themes etc.
[0009] It is further object to provide a computer program product comprising computer readable memory means storing instructions, which when executed by a processor of a user device, causes the user device to enable a user to formulate kitty regulations regarding punctuality, payments, games, dress codes etc. and broadcast the same among the members.
[0010] It is further object to provide a computer implemented method to alerts members about events, exhibitions, fairs and festivals happening in their proximity.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

All the aspects of the embodiments described herein will be better appreciated and understood when considered in conjunction with the following description and the accompanying drawings. It should be understood, however, that the following descriptions, while indicating preferred embodiments and numerous specific details thereof, are given by way of illustration and not of limitation. Many changes and modifications may be made within the scope of the embodiments herein without departing from the spirit and scope thereof, and the embodiments herein include all such modifications.
[0017] FIG. 1 illustrates a system 100 to manage groups and events in
accordance to an embodiment of the present invention. The system 100 as shown in FIG. 1 comprises one or more user devices 101 (101-1 - 101-n) accessible to a plurality of users. The plurality of user devices are connected to a central server 102 via a wired or wireless communication network (not shown). The wireless communication network may include, but is not limited to a cellular connection, broadband connection, radio link, WiFi link, Internet, 2G, 3G, 4G, LTE, Bluetooth, ZigBee and WiMax. The central server 102 comprises of a database 103 having a memory, a processor 104 and a transceiver 105. The central server may be, but not limited to a cloud computing device, a computer, laptop, mobile device, or a processing device. The central server 102 is further coupled to one or more merchant servers 106 (106-1 - 106-n) via a wired or wireless communication network (not shown). The central server 102 comprises a processor 104 which is configured to enable atleast one user from a plurality of users to create groups. The processor 104 also enables the user to add other user from the plurality of users to the created groups. The processor 104 in addition enables the user to create events and execute a set of tasks related to the groups and the events. The set of tasks may include, but not limited to formulating rules for the created groups, host selection for the created groups, scheduling events based upon the availability of the group members and various venues or places, setting reminders for group users or members for events and maintaining the attendance of the group users or members. The central server 102 is configured to store, in the database 103, the outcomes of the executed set of tasks in the processor 104, and records of groups and
events. The records of the groups and events may include, but are not limited to atleast one of the group member details, group member histories, past transactions and payments.
[0018] The system according to the present invention enables a user to
create various groups and communities on a computer implemented system which may be an application, website, internet, mobile device, tablets, social platforms and other online platforms. The user may plan and create an event such as a kitty, a party, a function, a get together, occasion and decide the groups for the respective events accordingly. The creation of groups is done by a user on the system, the user may input the request from a user device such as a mobile device, computer, electronic pads, tablets. Laptops,or any electronic device. The user for an event may also formulate or set rules for an event such as themes, dress codes, payments to be paid for the event, the time, punctuality, the props of the event. The system based upon the input from the user may perform a set of tasks. The set of tasks may comprise of atleast one of formulating rules for the created group, host selection for the created group, scheduling events based upon the availability of group members and various venues, setting reminders for events and maintaining the attendance of the group members. User may also receive set of services and offers such as deals, discounts from merchants which are connected to the merchant servers which are further connected to the central server of the system. This helps the user to plan the events and group meetings so as to avail best offers. The scheduling of events are based upon the availability of the users. The central
server keeps the information such as calendars, the schedule of the group members and based upon this, the availability of a group member or user may be determined for an event. This helps easily manage the events and the group.
[0019] Further with reference to FIG. 1, the transceiver 105 of the central server 102 enables the central server to communicate with atleast one merchant servers 106 and the plurality of user devices 101. The transceiver 105 provides communication between the altleast one merchant server 106 and the central server 102 comprising the exchange of a set of services and offers. The set of services and offers may include, but are not limited to atleast one of nearby merchant deals, latest fashion trends, famous recipes, finest and various travel destination around the globe, events, exhibitions, fairs and festivals. The transceiver 105 in addition provides communication between the central server 102 and the plurality of user devices 101 for exchange of the records of the groups and events, the outcomes of the executed set of tasks and exchange of the set of services and offers.
[0020] The processor 104 is also configured to enable the atleast one user to create and manage the plurality of kitty groups. For example, the user can maintain and manage the kitty diaries, calendars, notes, member details, invitations, member attendance, host selection, member payments, rules, and themes for a kitty group. The processor 104 is further configured to enable atleast one user of the plurality of user devices 101 to send invitations for a kitty to other users among the plurality of user devices 101. The records stored in
the database 103 of the central server 102 can be shared among some or all the users of the plurality of user devices 101.
[0021] The processor 104 is further configured to enable the atleast one user of the plurality of user devices 101 to organize a kitty and maintain a kitty diary. The processor 104 in the central server 102 is further configured to enable the atleast one user to perform a plurality of tasks related to the event. The tasks in accordance with the present invention may be but are not limited to selecting a host and venue for a kitty, sending invites to the other users associated with the kitty groups, marking attendance of the attendees of the kitty, recording details of payments of the users associated with the kitty group of the particular kitty, keeping a track of punctuality of the attendees, etc. The processor 104 is further configured to enable the users of the kitty group to mark their engagement on a calendar. The processor 104 may send reminders to the users of the kitty group based on the marked calendars.
[0022] The processor 104 in the central server 102 is in addition configured to enable a user from the plurality of users to formulate rules for a kitty such as but not limited to punctuality, payments, games, dress codes, themes, props, etc. for the kitty. The processor 104 may enable the user to share the formulated kitty rules with the other users associated with the kitty group of that particular kitty via transceiver 105.
[0023] The processor 104 is further configured to enable the user of the one or more user devices 101 to share information such as chats, notes, files, and
calendars among each other users of the kitty group thus enabling altleast one user of the plurality of user devices 101 to organize the kitty for a particular kitty group while considering the calendars of other users associated with the kitty group. For example, the user, while organizing the kitty for the kitty group can consider the calendar of other users of the kitty group to check their availability to avoid date and time clashes and enable coordination among multiple groups.
[0024] The central server 102 is further configured to enable one or more merchants associated with the one or more merchant servers 106 (106-1 - 106-n) to offer merchandise services to the users of the one or more user devices 101. The processor 104 in the central server 102 is configured to notify the users of the one or more user devices 101 about nearby merchant deals, latest fashion trends, famous recipes, finest travel destinations around the globe, events, exhibitions, fairs, festivals, etc.
[0025] The records stored in the database 103 of the central server 102 may be shared among the plurality of user devices 101 via the transceiver 105. Sharing the record among the plurality of user devices 101 may enable the atleast one user from the plurality of users to keep a check on the members of the group. By keeping a check on the members, the user may arrange various get togethers and events thus making sure presence of all the members. The processor 104 may enable the atleast one user of the plurality of user devices 101 to manage the plurality of groups. The user may manage the groups by managing notes, member attendance, host selection, member payments and
setting certain rules for the get together. The user may affix certain rules for the event such as punctuality, payments, games, dress codes, themes, props, etc. for the event. In addition, the user may also choose a venue according to the members of the group. The user may also keep a record of attendance of the members of the event. This may further help the user to avoid certain clashes in organizing various events comprising the plurality of groups.
[0026] The user may access the central server 102 via the processor 104 in order to send invitations for the event to the users of the plurality of user devices (101-1....101-n). The user may access the database 103 at the central server 102 in order to check engagements and availability of various members of the plurality of groups. The user may send invitations to the members by checking availability of the members in the group. The event in accordance with the present invention may be but not limited to a get together, birthday party, dinner/lunch party, meeting, team party, reunion, outing, social gathering, etc. The members of the group may accept the invitation hence making sure their presence at the event.
[0027] In addition, the processor 104 may comprise means to notify atleast one user from the plurality of user devices 101 about a plurality of nearby events. The atleast one merchant server from a plurality of merchant servers 106 may provide a set of services and offers to the plurality of users on the basis of their current location via the central server 102. The central server 102 may access the user location. The user may or may not allow the central server
102 to send notifications of the nearby events by dis-enabling or enabling a do-not disturb mode. The nearby events may include but are not limited to nearby merchant deals, latest fashion trends, famous recipes, finest travel destinations around the globe, events, exhibitions, fairs, festivals, and the likes.
[0028] According to another embodiment of the invention, the system of the present invention enables atleast one user from a plurality of users to formulate and share the event rules and regulations among other members of the group and related event. The processor of the system may enable the user to formulate various rules with respect to the event and members of the event. The user may further access the user device and broadcast the formulated rules and regulations of the event to other members of the event via the central server of the system. The user may further vary rules and regulations of the event by taking into consideration personal characteristics of the members of the event. The characteristics may include but are not limited to gender, age group, interests of the members, skills, relationships, status, etc.
[0029] According to still another embodiment of the present invention, the central server of the system enable the users to keep track of calenders of the members or users of the plurality of groups. A user from the plurality of users may send notifications to the other members of the group on the basis of dates and events marked on the calender. The calender data may be stored in database of the central server of the system. The user of the user device may organize the event by taking into consideration the calenders of others
members associated with the event. In addition, the user may also set reminders at a regular interval regarding date and timing of the event. Further, the members of the group may also mark their engagement on the calendar.
[0030] FIG.2 illustrates a flowchart 200 depicting a computer implemented method of managing events. The method starts at step 201 by creating atleast one group of users from a plurality of users having access to a plurality of user devices. The created group may be but not limited to a kitty group in accordance with the present invention. Further, an event is created and a set of tasks are executed related to the created group and event. At step 202, various members of the group of various groups are added to the created event. The flowchart further moves to step 203, where type of the created event is determined.
[0031] If it is determined that the event is a couple event, the flow moves to step 204 where the members of the event are paired otherwise if the created event is an individual event, the flow moves to the step 205, where predetermined rules are set for the created event. The rules are sent to the atleast one group of users on their respective user devices 101. After adding the rules for the event, invitation is sent to members of the event at step 206. Further the flowchart moves to step 207 where attendance and involvement of the users of the atleast one group is managed.
[0032] At step 205, a plurality of rules are added for the group. The rules include but are not limited to punctuality, member payments, games, dress
codes, themes, props, etc. for the group. The involvement of the users of the group may include but is not limited to attendance of the members, participation in various activities at the event, etc.

The method may comprise creating atleast one group of users from a plurality of users having access to a plurality of user devices. The method may further comprise creating various events. The events may be but are not limited to birthday parties, kitty parties, lunch/dinner parties, get-togethers, team parties, etc.

with a plurality of user devices may interact with a database 103. The database
103 may be present at the central server 102. The database 103 may keep
record of various tasks of members associated with an event. The event in
accordance with present invention may be but not limited to get-together,
birthday party, lunch/dinner party, team party, reunion, etc. The database 103
may record information related to each member of the event and may also
record information and status of the event. The user devices (101-1 101-n)
may also share the information recorded in the database among each other. Sharing of records among various members of the event helps to build up coordination in the plurality of groups. The user devices accessible by the user may keep track of various events and the members who attended the event by using calenders. The user devices may also notify the users about nearby events and various merchandise services.
[0036] FIG. 4 represents the various nearby events which may be notified or informed to the user of the present system. The members of the group may also receive notifications of related nearby events 402 by the central server 102. The member of the group may either choose to receive the alerts or may not choose to receive any alerts related to the nearby events 402. The members may receive the alerts or may set their respective user devices on a do-not disturb mode. The central server 102 may send alerts or notifications to the member if there are certain events similar to the interests of the members happening in a nearby location up-to a certain distance.
[0037] The member of the group may set certain interests in the database 103 and on the basis of those interests, the member will receive notifications from the central server 102. The nearby events 402 may include but are not limited to nearby merchant deals 404, latest fashion trends 406, famous recipes 408, travel destinations 410, events 412, exhibitions 414, fairs 416, festivals 418, etc.

indicating kitty party, kitty diary, kitty group or any other specific embodiments, are given by way of illustration and not of limitation, and the present technology can be used for managing other similar events such as birthday parties, get-togethers, dinner/lunch parties, meetings, team parties, reunion, outings, social gatherings, etc.

We Claim:
1. A system for managing groups and events, the system comprising:
a plurality of user devices accessible by a plurality of users;
at least one merchant server;
a central server connected to the plurality of user devices and the at least one merchant server, wherein the central server comprises of:
a processor, wherein the processor is configured to enable the at least one user to create groups, add users from the plurality of users to the created groups, create events and execute a set of tasks related to the groups and the events,
a database storing outcomes of the executed set of tasks and records of the groups and events, and
a transceiver in communication with the at least one merchant server and the plurality of the user devices, wherein the communication between the at least one merchant server and the central server comprises of exchange of a set of services and offers, and the communication between the central server and the plurality of the user devices comprises of exchange of the records of the groups and events, the outcomes of the executed set of tasks, and the set of services and offers.
2. The event according to the claim 1, wherein the event comprises at
least one of a kitty party, a birthday party, a lunch party, a dinner party, a get together, a reunion, an outing and a social gathering.

The set of tasks according to the claim 1, wherein the set of tasks comprises at least one of formulating a set of rules for the created groups, host selection for the created group, scheduling events based upon the availability of group members and various venues, setting reminders for group members for events and maintaining the attendance of group members.
4. The set of rules according to the claim 3, wherein the set of rules comprises at least one of themes of the event, dress codes of the event, payments, punctuality and props of the event.
5. The records according to the claim 1, wherein the records comprises at least one of group member details, group member histories, past transactions and payments,
6. The set of services and offers according to the claim 1, wherein the set of services and offers comprises of at least one of nearby merchant deals, latest fashion trends, famous recipes, finest travel destinations around the globe, events, exhibitions, fairs and festivals.
7. A computer implemented method of group and event management, the method comprising:
receiving an input from at least one user device;
creating, based upon the input, at least one group of users from a
plurality of users having access to a plurality of user devices;
creating, based upon the input, events and executing a set of tasks related to the created group and events;
storing outcomes of the executed set of tasks and records of the groups and events in a database;
accessing a set of services and offers from at least one merchant server, wherein the set of services and offers are communicated to the atleast one group of users; and
communicating the records of the groups and events, and the outcomes of the executed set of tasks to the at least one group of users.

The set of tasks according to the claim 7, wherein the set of tasks comprises at least one of formulating rules for the created groups, host selection for the created group, scheduling events based upon the availability of group members and various venues, setting reminders for group members for events and maintaining the attendance of group members.
9. The set of services and offers according to the claim 7, wherein the set of services and offers comprises of at least one of nearby merchant deals, latest fashion trends, famous recipes, finest travel destinations around the globe, events, exhibitions, fairs and festivals.
10. The records according to the claim 7, wherein the records comprises at least one of group member details, group member histories, past
transactions and payments,
11. A computer implemented method of managing events, the method
comprising:
receiving an input from at least one user device;
creating, based upon the input, at least one group of users from a plurality of users having access to a plurality of user devices;
creating, based upon the input, events and executing a set of tasks related to the created group and events;
determining type of the event, and accordingly set predetermined rules for the event;
sending invitations and the set rules to the at least one group of users on their user devices; and
managing attendance of the users of the at least one group at the event.
12. The method according to the claim 11, wherein the determination is
done on the base of a couple event or an individual event.
13. The method according to the claim 11, wherein the predetermined set of
rules comprises at least one of themes of the event, dress codes of the event,
payments, punctuality and props of the event.
