System For Controlling Elevator Door

Abstract: The present invention pertains to a system for controlling an elevator door. The present invention comprises: a door sensor that detects an obstacle to an opening/closing action of a door in an entryway of an elevator; a door motor control unit that controls the opening/closing action of the door on the basis of the result of detection by the door sensor; a transmission unit that transmits signals between the door sensor and the door motor control unit, with wiring formed by a cable being used as part or all of a transmission path between the door sensor and the door motor control unit; a storage unit that stores a change in a binary signal, which indicates whether an obstacle was detected, in association with the position of the door at the time of the change in the binary signal, the binary signal being obtained on the basis of a detection signal from the door sensor during the opening/closing action of the door; and a determination being made as to determine whether the cable is in a partial disconnection state by evaluating the reproducibility of the position of the door at the time of the change in the binary signal on the basis of the timing of the change in the binary signal and the position of the door at the time of the change in the binary signal. It is possible to determine whether an electrical wire in the cable of the door sensor is brought into a partial disconnection state by being subjected to repeated bending deformation associated with the opening/closing action of the door.
