, Description:FIELD OF THE INVENTION:
The present invention relates to the transportation systems. The present invention more particularly relates to a system for improving traffic flow of the vehicles.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION:
Traffic lights effectively manages vehicle traffic flow, but they have limited capabilities to manage traffic flow. Some traffic lights detects the relative traffic volume in the cross streets they regulate and gives a lot of time interval for vehicles to pass in one direction. Traffic lights are efficient to manage difference in traffic flow, but at some point vehicles are stopped at the traffic light for some time period resulting in traffic congestion.
Typical freeway traffic consists of travelling of the vehicles at self-managed speeds, when freeway traffic increases, vehicles tend to bunch up in continuous and relatively regular spacing and the rate of speed decreases. In these cases, driver error or lag from driver reaction time is compounded as each vehicle in makes speed changes in series.
So it is necessary to manage freeway traffic so that vehicles are grouped with larger space in between them. So there is a need for a system for alleviating traffic congestion and improve overall traffic flow.
It results in increase in air pollution and fuel inefficiency. So there is a need for a system to reduce traffic and can provide for more fuel-efficient transportation on freeways and roads without traffic lights, especially during periods of heavy traffic.
The present invention provides more fuel-efficient transportation on roads utilizing traffic lights and increases transportation system capacity with minimum capital cost and taking of land for infrastructure.
The present invention improves safety by more effectively regulating and coordinating the flow of traffic. The present invention enables drivers and vehicle control systems to manage vehicle speed for improving fuel efficiency and to coordinate traffic flow in better way. The present invention helps to adjust the speed of the vehicle and to save time and energy for waiting for the light to change and to help coordinate the speed of vehicles on freeways to maintain higher speeds during heavy traffic periods
OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION:
An object of the present invention is to provide more fuel-efficient transportation on roads utilizing traffic lights and increases transportation system capacity with minimum capital cost and taking of land for infrastructure.
Another object of the present invention is to improve safety by more effectively regulating and coordinating the flow of traffic.
Yet another object of the present invention is to enable drivers and vehicle control systems to manage vehicle speed for improving fuel efficiency and to coordinate traffic flow in better way.
Other objects and benefits of the present invention will be more apparent from the following description, which is not intended to bind the scope of the present invention.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION:

DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS:
Fig 1 shows a system for effective controlling of traffic management.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION:
The present invention is a system for effective controlling of traffic management. The present invention provides more fuel-efficient transportation on roads utilizing traffic lights and increases transportation system capacity with minimum capital cost and taking of land for infrastructure and to improve safety by more effectively regulating and coordinating the flow of traffic. The present invention helps to adjust the speed of the vehicle and to save time and energy for waiting for the light to change and to help coordinate the speed of vehicles on freeways to maintain higher speeds during heavy traffic periods. So to control traffic lights and to create diversions are needed for keeping traffic moving.
In one embodiment, Traffic control devices have alternating color lights and is optionally controlled by a master controller, timing circuit. Such devices deploy variable timing cycles in response to measured traffic volume or historical patterns.
In another embodiment, Traffic is controlled through Artificial intelligence through traffic cameras which automatically tracks traffic and the number plates are also read. Traffic cameras automatically detect vehicles and this information is sent back to a central control database where the density of traffic on the road is estimated. The system then alters the traffic lights based on real-time road congestions.
The road traffic cameras and traffic monitoring systems have a lot of information which is from traffic monitoring systems. Millions of cameras line our roads while the passing vehicles induces tiny electrical currents in loops of metal hidden beneath the tarmac, providing further information about the traffic conditions. Motorists can send instant updates about hold ups thanks to the navigation software they use on their mobile phones and in their cars. The system uses video feeds to automatically detect the number of road users, including pedestrians, and types of vehicles that are at an intersection. The AI software then processes this information second by second to come up with the best way to move traffic through the intersection, changing traffic lights depending on the most optimal way of keeping traffic moving. Autonomous detections are made and shared with neighbouring intersections to help to understand what is coming their way. Thus these connected vehicles are able to communicate information about their speed, driver behavior and even potential faults to the surrounding infrastructure and help all types of road users in a multimodal transportation society.
So traffic patterns are constantly updated and thus traffic flow is also updated and reduces the waiting time at an intersection. It decreases waiting times at lights and the predictions are used along with recent traffic information. It reduces operational running costs and increases the end-customers. Using road signals and signs to reroute traffic when there is an accident, reduce traffic jams, and lessen the time motorists spend seeking parking spaces. Automated systems are also getting better at differentiating between large numbers of road users, so can prioritise cyclists, buses or emergency vehicles and thus improves safety. Keeping traffic flowing can also reduce energy consumption caused by idling vehicles when stationary and improves air quality. It can help to cut engine emissions and so help to reduce impacts on the environment. It can make parking easier and frees up time for motorists to be more productive. The present invention instantly counts and classifies road users and measure the time required for the vehicles to travel between junctions and provide live photos. So data feed in the database learns daily patterns and combines this with how traffic responds to transient changes in the road network. It evolves and adapts over time, improving its predictive power and minimizing the amount of human intervention required. It provides historical and live data, and predicts traffic flows for the day.
In another embodiment, computer system connected with the database automatically learns and analyze data and make predictions. Computers interpret, recognize and produce human speech. Data such as the content of an image is interpreted including the graphs, tables, and pictures within PDF documents, as well as, other text and video. Computer vision is an integral field of AI, enabling computers to identify, process and interpret visual data. All the user connected with this network understands the status of the traffic and visualize the traffic diversions needed for saving their time.
In another embodiment, a system for effective controlling of traffic management comprising of;
g. Detecting the traffic through traffic cameras;
h. Automatically detecting the number of road users, including pedestrians, and types of vehicles that are at an intersection through video feeds;
i. Detecting ways to move traffic through the intersection, changing traffic lights depending on the most optimal way of keeping traffic moving;
j. Gathering all the information in the database of the website;
k. Analyzing data and Enabling computers to identify, process and interpret visual data; and
l. Notifying the user about the status of the traffic and visualize the traffic diversions needed.
