It is not an admission that any of the information provided herein is prior art or relevant to the presently claimed invention, or that any publication specifically or implicitly referenced is prior art.
[0003] “The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page.” – said Saint Augustine. People love travelling as they explore a new world of happiness which give them opportunity not to understand and learn new people and culture but also provide scope for self-exploration. Thus, our lifestyles have become increasingly reliant on travel. People have been travelling to like never before, whether for pleasure, business, or to pursue their dream education! This has resulted in an increase in both the number of travellers and the number of travel-related dangers, such as airline luggage loss, trip interruptions or medical emergency etc. As a result, it's critical to have strong travel insurance to deal with an unexpected scenario in a strange country. Added to it, all cherished memories and happiness starts converting in pain and trouble when travellers find the claim process complicated and tough after facing all emergencies during their travels. Lot of documentation work for many rounds of verification by the insurer enhances the dissatisfaction in customers which ultimately affect the clientele.
[0004] Following are the issues which come across for the travel insurance claim:
(a) Claims are delayed due to the extensive manual document verification process by the insurer or lack of supporting documents or authenticity of the information provided by the client.
(b) There is lack of responses from the insurer due to acknowledgement of the claim application by the client.
(c) Denial for full or partial refund without substantial reasons especially with health-oriented claims during travel.
(d) Lack of knowledge regarding how to file claims or inability to claim refund.
(e) Lack of knowledge regarding laws and government policies regarding claiming right.
[0005] There is, therefore, a need of a system to obviate above-mentioned problem, by providing express reimbursement of travel insurance when any mishap occurs during journey.

When the client travel from one location to another (i.e. the location for which insurance is book) by a medium such as flight, and etc., the chip can be activated. To activate the chip, at start of a journey the user can enter unique id provided to the user at the time of purchasing the travel insurance. This chip would track GPS location data which would be stored in the cloud.
[0056] In an embodiment, client health tracking can be done through the chip. It can track the daily activity, fitness activities and sleep pattern during travel by sensors ((106)), that can help to get the information about client health such as BP, heart rate, pulse, calories burnt and body temperature. The information collected by the sensors ((106)) can be stored on a server (i.e. cloud storage). In case of any abnormality, insurance provider can check the stored information and cross verify it with the information provided in claim application, if claim is made related to health issues.
[0057] In an exemplary embodiment all the information collected by the electronic card (100) (i.e. installed chip), I.e. health parameters and location information, and journey information can be transmitted by the mobile (i.e. mobile computing device) to a cloud storage (112), and transmission of the information from the mobile to the cloud storage (112) can be performed using a communication unit provided in the mobile (i.e. GSM, Wi-Fi, Satellite, and etc.). [0058] In an embodiment, when the user travels, information including daily activity, food consumption, fitness activity, sleeping pattern, and etc. can be tracked by sensors (106) attached to smartchip (100) (i.e. electronic card (100)). The collected information can be transmitted by the smartchip (100) to the phone (i.e. mobile computing device) using Bluetooth provided in the smartchip (100). Various information of the user can be collected from the phone and can be provided to the smartchip. The information received by the phone can be transmitted to a cloud (i.e. server (112)) through Wi-Fi module of the phone. The cloud can be accessed by representatives of the insurance company to monitor received data or information such as heart rate, pulse rate, BP, weight, calories burned, body temperature and the likes.
[0059] FIG. 5 illustrates an exemplary representation for providing reimbursement of claim to a user, in accordance with an embodiment of the present disclosure.
[0060] As illustrated in FIG. 5, a server (112) (interchangeably referred as cloud storage, herein) can store information of a subject (i.e. user), the information can be received from GPS available in the smart phone of the user, or the GPS can be individually provided in an electronic card (102). Location and movement of the user can also be stored on the cloud storage (112). In addition, health tracking can be done by the sensors (106), health parameters of the user can be collected from sensors (106) and can be stored on the cloud storage.
[0061] In an embodiment, when the user file a claim application form the associated smart phone through the installed mobile app for reimbursement, authentication of claim application can be checked by cross verifying the information stored on the cloud storage and written in the claim application. Upon verification, the insurance company can provide reimbursement to the user. The reimbursement can be full refund, partial refund, or can be cancelled, when data of the claim application is not similar to information stored in the server, and the reimbursement fund can be transferred to the user. For example, the user lost his baggage at an airport at Delhi, the user can claim for reimbursement, representative of the insurance company can check the information, that the user was present on Delhi airport can be cross verified, when the information is found correct, refund can be provided to the user.
[0062] In an embodiment, when the user is not satisfied with the received reimbursement, the user can apply for rechecking and re-considering the application. For example, the flight cancelled, and the user applied for refund, but received only 25% of ticket amount, but in contract it was clearly mentioned that the user will receive 50% refund. In this case, the user can apply for rechecking the application, the representative of the insurance company can review the information i.e. document signed at the time of acquiring insurance, and can provide refund accordingly, thus saves the time of the user and the representative as well. This process can be completed in a day, thus reduces the time, as it generally takes 15 days to a month or more by the representative of the insurance company usually.
