Specification

FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a system for monitoring health, analysing health parameters and providing recommendations to a user, and a method thereof.

BACKGROUND
A personal health record includes a medical record on medical treatment in a hospital where medical experts practice, and in a broader range of a health record, also includes a health related record on blood glucose and blood pressure tested in a home by each individual, and an individual life record on drinking and smoking.
Individuals may also schedule visits to healthcare providers for routine examinations. For example, an individual may have regular wellness checks with a family practice physician and may be treated by a variety of specialists as health conditions arise. Further, the individual may make one or more visits to an emergency room when accidents occur. Typically, upon an initial visit to a healthcare provider, the individual or a guardian for the individual is given a paper-based form to enter the individual's personal health history. The personal health history typically includes data such as types and dates of surgeries, names and types of illnesses, medications, medical history of parents and grandparents, etc.. During the initial visit and subsequent visits, the healthcare provider updates the medical record of the patient on paper to include information about the visit.
Consolidating a patient's medical record is not easy. This record includes a wide variety of administrative and therapeutic information. Beginning from patient intake within a healthcare establishment, during care of the patient, potentially with a plurality of departments and a plurality of practitioners, such as doctors, nurses or caregivers, until the patient is discharged, the need for all practitioners within the establishment to be able to have a current, relevant and comprehensive overview of the patient's information is only partially met. One disadvantage is a large amount of time-consumption by healthcare staff. In particular, staff is often pulled away from therapeutic procedures to try to consolidate patient records.
Accordingly, there is a problem that despite a certain willingness by the staff to do this, the current tools provided to collect, connect and record patients' administrative and medical data are unfortunately sources of inconsistencies, redundancies, errors or missing information within patient records.
To overcome this problem, US20170024520A1 discloses a system for collecting and managing primarily vital data or physiological data for patients received within a healthcare establishment, such as a hospital or clinic. More specifically, the prior art relates to a platform responsible for enriching electronic or electronic medical records, using said data, while minimizing the human actions necessary to establish the files as well as the risks of assigning incorrect data.
To further overcome this problem, prior art US7941324B1 discloses a method for obtaining healthcare. In particular, the method comprises obtaining, by a healthcare provider, biometric identification data from a non-communicative patient. The method further comprises generating, by the healthcare provider using a computer processor, an identification request comprising the biometric identification data. The method further comprises sending, via a computer network, the identification request to a Personal Health History (PHH) framework comprising a PHH account for the non-communicative patient. The method further comprises receiving, by the healthcare provider, the common identifier associated with the PHH account from the PHH framework. The method further comprises identifying the non-communicative patient by the healthcare provider using the common identifier. The method further comprises administering a treatment for a health condition of the non-communicative patient by the healthcare provider.
Furthermore, the prior art US20140236624A1 discloses a management system for personal health record. The management system comprises a first server providing a web service for managing personal health records. The management system further comprises a second server connected to the first server to transmit/receive data to/from each other and storing data provided from the first server. The management system further comprises a first unit provided being portable, accessing the web service that the first server provides through connection to an internet-enabled terminal, receiving measurement data from a measuring device that measures a personal bio signal and storing the received measurement data as private data, and managing the private data according to whether user authentication is successful or not. The management system further comprises a second unit accessing the web service that the first server provides via an internet network, and managing personal health records on a web site provided through the web service according to whether user authentication is successful or not. If it is determined that personal health records stored in the first unit and the second server are different from each other, the first server synchronizes the first unit and the second server with the latest data among the data stored in the first unit and the second server.
However, the prior art has drawbacks since none of the cited prior art documents provides a system that minimizes human errors, inefficiencies, and time loss in the field of healthcare. Thus, there is a need to improve the system of monitoring health of a user.
