Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a system (100) for rescheduling task of an employee based on location. The system (100) can receive location information of the employee and analyse traffic conditions of the received location information to detect time to reach office by the employee, and the traffic conditions can be analysed using learning techniques. The system (100) is further configured to reschedule tasks such as meetings and projects allocated for the day, upon detection of one or more traffic conditions on route of the employee. Also, the employee is enabled to generate a ticket to inform the system (100) about late coming to the office due to traffic condition, and the system (100) match the given reason with traffic condition of the route of the employee to check whether the reason is factual.

Specification

The present disclosure relates to task management. More
particularly, the present disclosure relates to a system and method for detecting location of an employee and correspondingly rescheduling task of the day.
BACKGROUND
[0002] Background description includes information that may be useful in
understanding the present invention. It is not an admission that any of the
information provided herein is prior art or relevant to the presently claimed
invention, or that any publication specifically or implicitly referenced is prior art.
[0003] In many industries it is important to keep accurate time logs of
employee arrivals, departures, lunch times, break times and the like. In a factory environment with a single location and a small number of accesses, this information has traditionally been collected by means of a mechanical time clock and paper punch cards for each employee.
[0004] Traditional management workplace discipline is often connected
with a rigid 9:00 am to 5:00 pm work cycle. These rigid workplace rules and regulations often found to be harsh for employee's mental and emotional well-being.
[0005] Other possible solution for this system can be creating a system
which is able to calculate the employee late coming timing, and in the end of
month or week all the calculated time will be added and make a shift in the
weekend. But the main problem with these system will be that employee will be
occupied in the weekends too and his routine will be disturbed.
[0006] Work from home is the best possible solution for this problem. An
employee will never be late he has to start his form the home, and according to some studies employees productivity is increased during the work from home. But the problem is work from home cannot be implement in every department of the organization. There are some department they need to come to organization on regular basis.

[0007] Another possible solution for this problem is not to judging the
employee only the basis of his presence time in the organization. The organization
should consider the employee productivity not the time he spent in the
organization. But practically this solution cannot be implement in real-life time.
[0008] There is, therefore, a need of a system to obviate above-mentioned
problem, by detecting the location of the employees and automatically rescheduling the tasks assigned for the day to reduce hassle.
OBJECTS OF THE PRESENT DISCLOSURE

time data of location (i.e. location information) of an employee is acquired from a
location identifier (102). The real time data can include climate conditions,
excess traffic conditions, road diversion, and abnormal road conditions. Upon
receiving the ticket from the employee, a processing unit (106) can execute time
prediction unit to analyse the received location information and the ticket
generated by the employee. Analysis can be done using statistical models,
prediction model based on SVM, neural networks, GPS data based techniques,
pattern recognition, and spatiotemporal correlation. Simulation can be done to
discover impact of accidents what-if scenarios, forecasting can be done for traffic
conditions after x minutes, x hours, and the likes, and the identification can be
done for bottlenecks congested roads. For example, when the employee send a
ticket having information that stuck in the traffic, the system (100) can be
configured to analyse the traffic condition in the area and accordingly check for
how long to traffic will be there i.e. for 10 minutes, or for 1 hour.
[0061] In an embodiment, based on analysis, for better employee
management decisions can be taken by the processing unit (106), and the task scheduling unit (108) can reschedule the tasks of the employee for that day. A task scheduler application/ software can be installed on a mobile computing device such as computer, and smart phone. The application can display employee dashboard, where schedule task and task monitoring options can be provided, the

HR/admin or the system (100) automatically can reschedule the task of the day
based on traffic condition. In an embodiment, manager of the employee, or the
HR can easily check the allocated tasks to the employee by using the mobile
computing device, and can schedule or reschedule the tasks.
[0062] FIG. 4 illustrates an exemplary mobile application of the proposed
system, in accordance with an embodiment of the present disclosure.
[0063] According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, an
exemplary user interface installed on a mobile computing device of the employee
is disclosed. The mobile computing device can include applications (also referred
as app, hereinafter), or web interface which may be downloadable from an app
store and installable such as Andriod, iOS, Window Phone, BlackBerry etc. The
app can include a user interface and protocols to communicate. The user interface
can include various options such as but not limited to Wi-Fi, sms, profile,
wallpaper, email, and setting. In addition, a button is also provided to start
scheduling of the tasks. The user interface can be configured to facilitate in
displaying profile of the employee upon selection of the profile option. When the
employee is found stuck in the traffic due to bad weather, he can select "start
scheduling" button and correspondingly a request for rescheduling the projects
allocated for the day or meetings can be done.
[0064] FIG. 5 illustrates an exemplary method for rescheduling task of an
employee based on location, in accordance with an embodiment of the present
disclosure.
