, Description:TECHNICAL FIELD
[0001] The present disclosure relates to the field of automation and manufacturing. More particularly, the present disclosure relates to a system for stacking and transferring of objects from a stacker to a specific position.

BACKGROUND
[0002] Background description includes information that may be useful in understanding the present invention. It is not an admission that any of the information provided herein is prior art or relevant to the presently claimed invention, or that any publication specifically or implicitly referenced is prior art.
[0003] Manufacturing plants or Industrial plants include a series of interconnected working stations to perform different work on an object or work piece or job. The working stations are either connected to each other by a guide rail or a pick and place system to carry the work piece from one working station to another for further working.
[0004] During transfer of the object or work piece from one station to another, any undesired problems while picking and placing of the object leads to the object being incorrectly placed on the next station and also sometimes the object might get lost before reaching the next station. Any such failure causes the station to inaccurately work on the object and sometimes it also leads to failure of the working station also. This failure in any of the work stations can lead to complete shutdown of the manufacturing process of the industrial plant.
[0005] Fast and continuous transfer of objects to the working stations is required for uninterrupted and efficient working of the industrial plant. Many times the working station requires the object to be placed on the working station in a specific orientation. If during transfer of the object from one working station to another, the orientation of the object changes, this leads to failure of the station to precisely and effectively work on the object. This leads to failure of the working station and shutdown of manufacturing process.
[0006] Various systems and devices are already present to pick and place an object from one working station to another.
[0007] United States Patent Application Number US7850217B2 provides an equidistance pick-and-place device for ICs. It comprises a housing, a driving device, a guideway structure, a moving structure, lazy tongs, a plurality of pick-and-place structures, and a transmission structure. The housing supports the equidistance pick-and-place device. The guideway structure is set on the housing. The moving structure slides on the guideway structure. The pick-and-place structures are set on the moving structure. The free end and the shafts of the lazy tongs are fixed in the moving structure. The transmission structure is connected with the driving device and the moving structure for driving the moving structure. The equidistance pick-and-place device utilizes the lazy tongs to drive the pick-and-place structures moving with equidistance to pick and place a plurality of ICs at a time. Therefore, the present invention can improve the efficiency and reduce cost.
[0008] United States Patent Application Number US10017285B2 provides an apparatus displaces and positions items in a predetermined configuration. The apparatus includes a grouping station, a grouping manipulator using at least two degrees of freedom and having a prehension end-effector and a placing manipulator using at least four degrees of freedom and having a prehension end-effector. The grouping manipulator is configured to pick items at a first item location, displace the items towards the grouping station, and release the items at the grouping station to form a group of items. The placing manipulator is configured to pick the group of items at the grouping station, change an orientation of the group of items, and release the group of items at a receiving station in the predetermined configuration. A method displaces and positions items in a predetermined configuration.
[0009] The above cited prior arts provides a system and device for transferring objects or items from one station to another in a specific orientation. But the cited prior arts do not talk about any system or mechanism for changing the orientation of the object or item before picking them from the station. Also, the cited prior arts do not talk about storing and stacking of the items for continuous supply of objects.
[00010] There is therefore need in the art to develop a stacking system and a transfer mechanism for to overcome the above-mentioned and other limitations of the existing solutions and utilized technique.
[00011] As used in the description herein and throughout the claims that follow, the meaning of “a,” “an,” and “the” includes plural reference unless the context clearly dictates otherwise. Also, as used in the description herein, the meaning of “in” includes “in” and “on” unless the context clearly dictates otherwise..
[00012] Groupings of alternative elements or embodiments of the invention disclosed herein are not to be construed as limitations. Each group member can be referred to and claimed individually or in any combination with other members of the group or other elements found herein. One or more members of a group can be included in, or deleted from, a group for reasons of convenience and/or patentability. When any such inclusion or deletion occurs, the specification is herein deemed to contain the group as modified thus fulfilling the written description of all groups used in the appended claims.
