FILED OF THE INVENTION
The present disclosure generally relates to system for facilitating trading of items between two or more parties. Specifically, it relates to system for trading of item between two or more parties without cash/money.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Originally, exchange systems allowed participants to trade one's products for another's products. As civilization evolved and trade became more complex, society found it more resourceful to use a common medium of exchange. The chosen mediums of exchange have included a range of goods and objects, including gold and silver, but have generally come to be currency/cash. The currency exchange system has become dominant because of its advantages in allowing its participants to exchange their products for currency, and then exchange their currency for other products at a different time and place. Automated systems that facilitate to buy and sell orders for trading products or goods are well known in the art. Computer systems to match bids and offers are also well known in the art. None of the systems available are 100% cashless. None of these systems support multi-level trading against one on one trading without currency/cash. None of the system is rural friendly, which does not support multiple languages. Further, the exchange systems available so far are business to business (B2B) systems and done not support business to customer (B2C) or not customer to customer (C2C).
There is, therefore, a need in the art for a system for trading items between parties without cash
There is, therefore, a need in the art for a system for trading items between parties without the medium of currency/cash.
There is, therefore, a need in the art for a system for trading items between parties without cash that is rural friendly by supporting multiple languages thus eliminates language barrier.
There is, therefore, a need in the art for a system for trading items between parties without cash that supports B2C and C2C trading too.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Throughout this specification, the use of the word "comprise" and variations such as "comprises" and "comprising" may imply the inclusion of an element or elements not specifically recited.
Throughout this specification the use of the word user/users and party/parties may imply two or more persons who trade items between themselves.
Throughout this specification the use of the word item/items may imply any products or goods and services or skills.
A system (100) for the cashless trading of items is disclosed. As illustrated in figure 1, the system for cashless trading of items comprises an application platform (101) which resides on a webserver (102); a database server (103), said database server (103) facilitating the storing of various data related to the system (100); and a security system (104) that monitors and controls incoming requests from a user (105) and delivers respective output to the user (105) from the application platform (101), based on predetermined security rules.
In an embodiment, the application platform (101) is a web-based application. The user (105) communicates with the webserver (102) using a computer or a handheld device to access the application platform (101) and to perform the cashless trading of items through a network (not shown). The network may comprise any type of communication process through which the computers or the handheld devices may contact each other. The present invention will be described with respect to an Internet-based network.
In yet another embodiment, the parties (105) access the application platform (101) with the help of an application on their handheld devices. The handheld device includes smart phones, tablets, smart watches etc. and the application may be a mobile application.
In an embodiment, the security system (104) is a hardware based security system.
In yet another embodiment, the security system (104) is a software based security system.
In yet another embodiment, the security system (104) is a combination of both hardware based and software based security systems.
As illustrated in figure 2, the application platform (101) of the present system (100) comprises a user management module (11); a language management module (12); a dashboard module (13); a control panel module (14); a search module (16); a trading module (18), said trading module (18) comprising a trading points management module (19); a review and referral module (20); and a communication module (21).
The user management module (11) facilitates the management of users (105) who are registered with the system (100). The module (11) gets the necessary details from the user (105) who wants to register with the system (100) and sends the details to the database server (103) for storing them. At the time of user registration, the module (11) may perform necessary verification processes to verify the user (105).
The language management module (12) facilitates the user (105) to select a language of his/her choice in which the content of the system (100) is to be displayed. The default language of the system (100) is decided by the module (12) based on the location of the user (105) who connects the system (100). According to the city or state of the user (105), the default language is auto selected. Further, a list of languages is also displayed, so that the user (105) can select any other language of his/her choice.
The dashboard (13) is an information management tool that visually tracks, analyses and displays key performance indicators, metrics and key data points to monitor the health of a specific process. In an embodiment, the dashboard (13) provides a list of options to view and navigate into the system (100). In yet another embodiment, the dashboard (13) is provided with a facility for searching one or more items and/or one or more parties (105). In yet another embodiment, the search facility in the dashboard (13) may have a list of all the categories of items to simplify the search. In yet another embodiment, the dashboard (13) might have a dedicated place for displaying advertisements. In yet another embodiment, the dashboard may have a notifications area which displays suggestions for the logged-in user (105) using artificial intelligence integrated with the system (100).
The control panel module (14) facilitates the users (105) to manage their personal details and system (100) preferences. In an embodiment, the control panel module (14) may comprises an item management module (15), which facilitates the addition, editing and/or deletion of one or more items for the logged-in user (105).
The search module (16) facilitates the users (105) to search the system (100). Examples of searches include searches for one or more items, one or more users (105), one or more categories, and top rated users. The search module (16) plays a vital role in identifying the right party or right item traded as per the users’ (105) choice. The search result is displayed in efficient manner with the necessary details for the user (105) to identify the right party/parties (105) who trade the item(s) searched for. In an embodiment, the search module (16) may have various filters to filter out the searched results based on parameters such as country, region, city, rating and quality.
In an embodiment, the search module (16) may comprise a wish-list management module (17), which facilitates the users (105) to save their choice of interest based on parties and/or items. Further, the module (17) facilitates to save the searches performed for future reference and also facilitates the users (105) to easily manage their interests by adding or removing the items and/or parties from their wish-list.
The trading module (18) facilitates trading between parties (105) each having one or more items available for trading. Here, the trading orders are created by designating a selected first item to be traded, designating a date range for transferring title of the first item to be traded, designating a trading value of the first item to be traded, and optionally designating a second item to be acquired.
In an embodiment, the trading values are trading points which differ with respect to various factors such as the type of item, the quality of the item, the quantity of the item, the quality of the current trading transaction, and feedback from the parties (105) involved in the trade. The reward point management module (19) is responsible for the calculation and the management of trading points.
For example, if a first party finds an item to be traded from a second party, the first party sends his/her trading request to the second party. If the second party accepts his request, both the parties decide a mutually agreed date range for the transfer of title of the item to be traded. Once the item is delivered by the second party to the first party as agreed, the first party provides his/her feedback about the second party with respect to the current transaction. Upon completion of the trade, the trading points for the trade are credited to second party by debiting the trading points from the first party.
In the case of mutual trading between two parties, both the parties provide their feedback about each other with respect to the current transaction. If the trade value is equal for both the parties, then no trade points are debited from or credited to the account of the parties. If there is any difference in trade value, then the difference in trade value only is debited from one party and credited to the other party accordingly.
In an embodiment, the trade may happen between a plurality of parties like a chain. For example, an accountant who provided accounting service to a restaurant earns trading points, which are then spent for another service, say a dancing class from a professional dancer. The trading points earned by the professional dancer then get spent for availing a subsequent service such as videography service from a professional videographer. The trading points earned by the professional videographer can be used for trading any of the items using the system (100). Thus, the system (100) creates a never-ending chain of trading without the involvement of cash in any form.
The review and referral module (20) facilitates the users (105) to write reviews about the system (100) and their trades and also facilitates to earn reward points by referring the system (100) to other persons.
The communication module (21) facilitates the users (105) of the system (100) to communicate with other users online and/or offline.
