System Of Communication For The Hard Hearing Community

Abstract: The present invention relates to a system of real-time duplex communication for the hard-hearing community. A hand-held device (103) used for communication; fitted with a tab case (105) which includes Leap, and Kinetic sensors (106) and can run an application that will provide the means of real-time two-way mode of communication between the hard-of-hearing and the auditorily normal community.The kinetic and leap sensors (202) are connected to the tab/mobile device (203) and they work in tandem with fine tuning the frames and gesture recognition. The words spoken (301) by the person is transliterated into text (304)/ respective device supported language (305) by the communication system, and the gestures/sign language (201) of the hard-of-hearing person is converted to text/voice (205) for the auditorily normal person to understand.
