Abstract: ABSTRACT A system(100) and a method(200) for providing control access based on pre-configured criteria are disclosed. The system(100) comprises a primary door(110) and a secondary door(120) provided at the primary door(110). The secondary door(120) is raised from a closed position(120(C)) to an open position(120(O)) towards inner side of the primary door(110) to allow access for an object. The system(100) comprises a sensor(160) coupled to the secondary door(120) to detect the object in front of the secondary door(120). The system(100) comprises a controller(150) communicatively coupled to the sensor(160) to detect the object. The controller(150) controls operation of the secondary door(120) to allow access for the object detected. The controller(150) allows access for the secondary door(120) based on pre-configured criteria. Further, the controller(150) is configured to learn behavior of the object and operate the secondary door(120). The behavior is learnt by creating a profile for the object based on predefined criteria. [To be published with FIG. 5]
WE CLAIM:
1. A system (100) for providing control access based on pre-configured criteria, the system
comprising:
a primary door (110);
a secondary door (120) provided at the primary door (110), wherein size of the secondary door (120) is smaller than the primary door (110), wherein the secondary door (120) is raised from a closed position (120(C)) to an open position (120(O)) towards inner side of the primary door (110) to allow access for an object having a size of the secondary door (120) substantially;
at least one sensor (160) coupled to the secondary door (120) to detect the object in front of the secondary door (120); and
a controller (150) communicatively coupled to the sensor (160) to detect the object, wherein the controller (150) controls operation of the secondary door (120) to allow access for the object detected, wherein the controller (150) allows access for the secondary door (120) based on pre-configured criteria, wherein the controller (150) is configured to learn behavior of the object and operate the secondary door (120), wherein the behavior is learnt by creating a profile for the object based on predefined criteria.
2. The system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the sensor (160) comprises an image sensor, a barcode scanner, and a motion sensor.
3. The system (100) as claimed in claim 2, wherein the object is a pet, and wherein the object is detected using the image sensor (160).
4. The system (100) as claimed in claim 3, wherein the controller (160) is configured to operate the secondary door (120) to provide access to the pet based on the pre-configured criteria.
5. The system (100) as claimed in claim 2, wherein the object is a package, and wherein the object is detected using the barcode scanner (160).
6. The system (100) as claimed in claim 5, wherein the barcode sensor (160) is used to scan the package.
7. The system (100) as claimed in claim 6, wherein the controller (150) is configured to operate the secondary door (120) to provide access to the package based on the pre-configured criteria.
8. The system (100) as claimed in claim 5, wherein the sensor (160) determines weight of the package.
9. The system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the profile is created based on the predefined criteria comprising a pattern based on time, weather, type of the object, and characteristics of the object.
10. The system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the secondary door (120) is coupled to the primary door (110) via a hinge.
11. A method (200) for providing control access to a door based on pre-configured criteria, the method comprising:
detecting, by at least one sensor (160), an object in front of a secondary door (120);
receiving, by a controller (150), signals corresponding to the object;
comparing, by the controller (150), the object with a pre-configured criteria; and
operating, by the controller (150), the secondary door (120) to allow access for the object upon comparison, wherein the controller (150)allows access for the secondary door (120) based on pre-configured criteria, wherein the controller (150) is configured to learn behavior of the object and operate the secondary door (120), wherein the behavior is learnt by creating a profile for the object based on predefined criteria.
12. The method (200) of claim 11, wherein the object comprises a pet, and a person.
13. The method (200) of claim 11, wherein the object comprises a package.
14. The method (200) of claim 12, wherein the object comprises characteristics including size, shape, and weight.
15. The method (200) of claim 13, wherein the package is detected using a barcode, active RF card, biometric detection, and blue tooth chip detection.
