DESC:FIELD OF THE INVENTION
[001] The present disclosure generally relates to a system to monitor, alarm the power charging limit and its co-relationship with distance to be covered. Specifically, it relates to the system to monitor, alarm the power charging limit and its co-relationship with distance to be covered in the available battery power condition.
BACKGROUND
[002] The existing system in the electric vehicle is having SOC display unit on dashboard of the heavy commercial vehicle, which gives indication of percentage of energy remains on traction battery for vehicle drive. However, the limitation with existing system is that driver unable to predict how much distance, he can cover with available energy and if energy goes low what would be the driving pattern.
[003] Hence there is a need of system to monitor, alarm the power charging limit and its co-relationship with distance to be covered.
DESCRIPTION
[004] The present subject matter solves the aforementioned and other problems by providing a vehicle management unit of electric vehicle takes energy information from BMS on CAN, process it and calculate approximate distance vehicle can cover with available energy system recommends for vehicle drive pattern if energy level goes below certain threshold.
[005] The solution of present subject matter is to provide a recommendation for driving pattern if distance cover is less to enhance range.
[006] The advantage of present subject is to provide accuracy of calculated distance vis-a-viz power charge limit of the battery. It is an efficiency enhancement system.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS
[007] Aspects of the present disclosure are illustrated by way of example(s), and not by way of limitation, in the accompanying drawings, wherein:
[008] FIG. 1 is a block diagram of a vehicle management unit of electric vehicle takes energy information from BMS on CAN, process it and calculate approximate distance vehicle can cover with available energy system recommends for vehicle drive pattern if energy level goes below certain threshold.
